After using the same Mickey Mouse shower curtain for the last ten years, I was in need of a replacement. The tempo change here was welcome. Because I just put it up, I can't speak to its durability or cleaning ease. I can only say that this is without a doubt the SWEETEST shower curtain I've ever seen. Because of its low weight, I do think I would advise hand washing and line drying, or at the at least, washing on delicate and drying on a line. This is so lovely and upbeat! We bought two of these items, and they are for the bedroom. One is used as a curtain for the window, and the other is utilized to cover a headboard whose structure was what we wanted but not its fabric. Because having a cushioned, wipeable shower curtain is vital to me, I looked particularly for fabric shower curtains to re-cover it. It is accurate to say that the lighter gray is more beige than other people have noted. It seems gray again in a space with insufficient natural light, though. For the bed, I've ordered a gray blanket and gray pillow shams. In this approach, the headboard's fabric and a few vibrant throw pillows can serve as the blanket's eye-catching highlights.Please be advised that this is a light window covering. It is ideal if you want some solitude with light streaming through. Given that it's a shower curtain, that makes sense, hehe. I have a shade underneath it that we can use to block the light as necessary. Instead, if preferred, a thermal curtain could be utilized underneath. Since the headboard's fabric was dark, we initially covered it with a lighter upholstery fabric so that it would serve as a backdrop for the lighter fabric. That was successful. The texture of this fabric is visible, and it appears to have that texture right now.Our final product is fantastic. The journey there was challenging. In case anyone is thinking about undertaking a similar project or altering the curtain to be hung in a different manner, let me warn you that this cloth does not enjoy being handled. You'll need to exercise caution. When everything is in position, it works out perfectly, and now that it is finished, I don't have to worry about the curtain or the headboard. However, the cloth loved to flow when we would yank on it to tighten it while simultaneously screwing it into place. Ladies will be aware that this can be stopped by transparent nail paint. As soon as we became aware of the issue, we used the polish to stop the running where the screws were required to hold it in place. You would need to utilize something like that, as there are items in the notions departments that have the same effect. It might work if there was a fusible web interface. In order to add grommets to the curtain and make additional accessories out of the remaining fabric, I had planned to do so. However, I chose not to add grommets or make pillowcases because I have a slight washing obsession and the cloth might run. Instead, since I can seal it on there without all of the pulling that could harm the fabric, I might really use it to face the battered dresser drawers. The curtain in my standing shower is fastened to a ceiling pole. The rod could not be mounted low enough to allow for the use of a regular-length curtain because the ceiling is vaulted. It's long enough to fit in my shower, which is great, and it doesn't require the use of a liner, which is an added advantage. Since we don't have a water softener where I live in Florida, I can't even begin to tell you how frequently I had to replace my shower liner due to hard water buildup. It doesn't look showy or outdated to me.From the pictures, it differs somewhat. For instance, unlike what is depicted, the bottom of the curtain doesn't fade completely to darkness. More accurately, it appears to be white fading into light gray and then into gray. Although I wish the bottom was deeper, it still functions well in the bathroom.Another thing about it is that it has a pattern of circles that stands out more than the picture does. Actually, the circles are sparkly.Despite everything, I'm still glad I got it! And I wasn't expecting it to include shower rings. I think the price is reasonable.
