My previous riding pants "outgrew" me. The knee pockets allowed the armor to shift into odd positions, despite the fact that they were simple and functional.I immediately put these on after taking them out of the box. Pads are at their proper location. These also feature hip pads, which may come in handy if I ever need to "use" the trousers while sliding. The pants' Velcro pockets are handy for quick access. The substance appears sturdy. has lengthy air vents with zippers. To prevent air from tugging the jacket up, there is a waist zipper that connects the pants to the rear of the jacket. I know these will be very warm for hot weather riding because the material is thick and water resistant, but that's not why I want them! I detest chilly morning rides, but generally I'm extremely delighted with these!

In preparation for a future journey to the Faroe Islands, Iceland, or Greenland, I bought the Vidda Pro pants. I was looking for sturdy, waterproof, and windproof pants. I have a 34" inseam and am 5-11" and 185 pounds. The 52 EUR Regular was the ideal size. I've used them in gloomy conditions. The trousers are not waterproof, as stated in the advertisement, but they are water resistant. When knelt among moist vegetation, water will bead up on the surface but will seep through. These pants are made of traditional wax fabric, so I haven't tried to add wax yet. They should become more water-resistant thanks to the wax. I haven't had a chance to go hiking in them yet. They appear rigid when first opened. After I wore them to work a few times, they started to loosen up a little. In warm or hot weather, I believe they might bind on the lower legs and knees, but that is just my speculation at this time. There are no back pockets on the jeans. The front pockets are big and can contain a lot of items, however I miss that aspect. Additionally, knee pads that fit between the two layers of fabric covering the knees are available for purchase. I believe that to be the case. I am intrigued by this function because I want to spend a lot of time on my vacation taking pictures of wildlife. I'm quite happy with these pants overall. On my upcoming vacation, I'm eager to put them to the actual test.

I paid $180 for these in the sizes 40-42x30 and TourMaster venture air. The TourMaster trousers seem substantial, have a much tighter mesh weave, and have the feel of $180 pants, to start. But these HWK jeans are more affordable and fit me better. Even though I purchased the TourMaster in the "short" size, these are 3.5 inches shorter, and the knee pads on the HWK are the proper length for me. The armor is questionable, but for $25 I can get some D3O knee pads, and for $60 I can get some truly excellent pants. You must remove your boots because the sides only unzip approximately 10 inches. I ordered up to fit over my jeans even though my typical waist size is a 38. It was my fault for not believing the size chart; they were too big and I had to exchange them for a smaller size.These HWKs are not as good as the TourMaster, but they are significantly less expensive and nearly identical to the Bilt mesh pants at cycling gear. For my money and my build, however, I choose them.The white spots on the TourMaster pants are on the left. The HWK's yellow armor has a foamy texture to it.I'm 38x30 and weigh 215 pounds, wearing store-bought jeans.

My leather pants are exactly what I wanted. It looks fantastic, is manufactured properly, and is of high quality. Although I adore leather, high-quality leather goods can be quite pricey. I'm incredibly happy with the product's quality and value. It fit well despite being a touch smaller than I had anticipated. The only thing that worries me is that the fastener button could need to be strengthened a little, but a skilled tailor can easily remedy that. Still very much worth the cost.
