Are light or dark sun shades better?

Shinematix 2-Piece Windshield Sun Shade - Foldable Car Front Window Sunshades for Most Sedans SUV Truck - Best 210T Reflective Material Blocks 99% UV Rays and Keeps Your Vehicle Cool - Universal Fit Review:

For my last car, I had a set exactly like these that, after 11 years, was still in good condition. I was certain a pair of that quality wasn't available for my larger car after reading reviews and looking at pictures of a million other car blinds on this site. Because of how square they appear in the image, which I knew wouldn't work, I almost passed these up. I returned after realizing I had forgotten to measure the true dimensions. They practically fit my 2009 Camry LE perfectly. (Yeah, the new car looks nice, has 64k less miles, and is just 2 years younger than the old one, so...) There is approximately a 1.5" radius space in two corners that is unobstructed after slightly angling them. In fact, I had better covering than I had with the old shades in the old car. They are seen in my photo without their visors down since I merely stuffed them inside. What appears to be a space in the middle is not there. The fact that my mirror protrudes from the wall prevents them from lying flat up there. However, they cross over there and offer complete coverage.Even better, they are not weak. I don't even need to hold them in place with the visors because the cloth is identical to what I had and the frame is more sturdy, but I will. They perform admirably and have a great appearance. I wonder if I could get another eleven years from them.

Car Windshield Sun Shade - Blocks UV Rays Sun Visor Protector, Sunshade to Keep Your Vehicle Cool and Damage Free, Easy to Use, Fits Windshields of Various Sizes (Standard 59 x 31 inches) Review:

Our previous vehicle was altered, thus this is our second buy. This review is a repetition of one I previously wrote, with some updates. We get a lot of sun where we live in Florida, which is both good and bad. We benefit from not having to endure hard winters. It's bad because, to a non-native Floridian, Florida summers seem like winter in the northern states—you don't want to get outside unless absolutely necessary. That said, this sun shade served as the perfect solution for us. I got the big based on the charts displayed in the product photographs because we drive a 2019 Jeep Cherokee. It is a good fit for our car, shields the sun at the windshield, and keeps the interior from heating up as much as it might without one. Even with this sun shade, the car is obviously still toasty, but I have noticed a difference when I don't have it up. Because I haven't tried, I can't rate how simple it was to fold the sun shade. If I have passengers, I stow it in the back of the car or behind the front seats with it unfurled. According to the directions, folding and storing it should be fairly easy. I don't believe you will be dissatisfied if you purchase this product. To ensure you obtain the right size, just make sure you take a close look at the charts in the product photographs.

Windshield Sun Shade - 210T Fabric Highest in The Market for Maximum UV and Sun Protection –Foldable Sunshade for car Windshield Will Keep Your car Cooler- Windshield Sunshade (Large) Review:

Excellent, just what I needed. Both mounting to the windshield and "folding" into a lovely spherical package with a diameter of around 10 inches are fairly quick and simple processes. My Prius is charcoal gray with a dark gray interior, and I live in Florida. Without this sun shade, the interior temperature would be unbearably high when parked, making me feel like my skin was burning. No longer! Although I haven't taken a temperature reading, I estimate that the car is 40 degrees cooler in the middle of the day. The product's functionality and quality have both exceeded my expectations. After experimenting with a number of sun shades, I can honestly say that this is the first to perform as promised. Prius drivers should get the EX-Large even though the listing's table suggests the Large. I firmly believe that the EX Large is required.

Magnelex Car Windshield Sunshade with Bonus Steering Wheel Cover Sun Shade. 210T Reflective Polyester Blocks Heat and Sun. Foldable Sun Shield That Keeps Your Vehicle Cool (Large 63 x 33.8 in) Review:

purchased a huge family SUV in extra large (2018 Toyota Sequoia). A sunshade is effective. Fits nicely to block out the entire sun and is simple to set up and take down. The product's included steering wheel cover would only properly fit a golf cart, which is my sole complaint. It would remain on for a minute every time I used it on our steering wheel (most newer cars have a thicker/bulkier steering wheel anyhow), and then blast off like a pair of pre-college pants. The steering wheel coverings must to be made in different sizes or with an elastic band to keep them in place. In spite of this, I just purchased the item for the sunshade; the steering wheel cover was an added benefit and didn't cost any more than comparable sunshades.

Autoamerics Windshield Sun Shade 2-Piece Foldable Car Front Window Sunshade for Most Sedans SUV Truck - Auto Sun Blocker Visor Protector Blocks Max UV Rays and Keeps Your Vehicle Cool (Universal Fit) Review:

I just purchased a brand-new vehicle without tinted windows. It had black steering wheels and cream leather seats, and until I went to sit down in the car on a particularly hot day, I had no idea how handy tinted windows could be. I had to wait a while before touching the wheel, and my seat felt like it was on fire. I looked for sun sunglasses and came across Autoamerics. perfect purchase They take about a minute to install, fit exactly in my window, and make my car feel much more comfortable to slip into. The sun is largely blocked out by the sunshades. This sunshade is what you need if your car needs one.

I had just questioned my two adult boys as to why no one had ever been able to create a functional car sun cover. I would spend money on shades that would melt every summer when the temperature in Southern California surpassed 75 degrees. In addition to ordering items from Amazon, I prowled the big box, home improvement, and auto stores. All epic failures! I ADORE THEM! Both tints fit our cars, a little 4-door KIA Forte and my husband's KIA Sportage, nicely, and the sizing chart in the description is simple to understand. Even though I didn't use the sun visors, they are simple to unfold and remain up. It's actually sad how excited I am about these, but I always remind my guys that it's the little things that truly drag you down in life rather than the major things. Many thanks, A1! I'm giving these to all of my family members and friends.
