The packaging was simple to open, the plastic holder retains the keys, and it closes with a satisfying snap.The writing is peeling off in one location, some of the keys were twisted, and the keys arrived smeared with grease.I opened the container and wiped off the oil before taking any of my photos.I had to use two wipes to remove all trace of oil from each item, albeit it did so fairly effortlessly. Although I am aware that the oil is necessary for the manufacturing process, it would have been good if they had arrived clean.The three smallest keys, two of which are bent, are shown in the third photo. I noticed the writing rubbed off in one area as soon as I opened the item, as shown in the fourth photo.I'm used to using scissors and box cutters to struggle with packing, but this packaging was a breeze to open. It arrived in a cardboard-backed clear plastic package. The cardboard had a perforated section that allowed the packing to be opened without the use of any equipment.The circular holes in the plastic holder startled me, but despite that, it grabs the keys well enough that they don't slip out. Additionally, removing them is simple.Overall, you get what you pay for, and while these are not of professional grade, they are also not completely junk, either. I am pleased with the quality I got for less than $10.

I adore this assortment of Allen Wrenches! I misplaced the small "special tools" that came with the dog bed, cat trees, mobile pantry rack, and metal rack closet organizer when moving. Every Allen Wrench in this collection could be used to assemble each item, and everything could be taken apart, moved, and put back together without any issues. Moving the things we love was really made possible by Amazon's speedy shipping and these wrenches! The items' quality and durability are excellent, but I would advise handling them carefully because if something is difficult to unscrew (or fasten), it's likely because the parts aren't aligned correctly. If the wrenches are forced, the screws may strip out or the item may become irreparably damaged. Things shouldn't need to be "forced" together (or apart). Unfortunately, I cannot vouch for the materials' longevity, although both sets seem fairly beautiful at first glance. I've already assembled a cable machine for my home gym and utilized them to maintain my bike. The wrenches' ball ends are highly useful since they let you insert the key at an angle for better accessibility. The supplied handle is uncomplicated and seems cheap, but it works well. Much more effective than a regular hex key or hex multi tool, although not quite as effective as t-handles, and for a lot less money. These will work if you need a set of universal hex wrenches but don't want to spend a fortune.

With a few restrictions, these wrenches are an excellent addition to my toolkit. First and foremost, they are well-organized and will serve 95% of your needs for Allen wrenches. These wrenches do not receive five stars for two reasons. The first is that they are too lengthy and cannot be used in many smaller locations, which in my experience restricts their usefulness (e.g., when assembling my kids' cribs, where a shorter wrench is required). It's not a major concern if you only use them on bolts that are exposed to the elements. The fact that these are not constructed of heavy-duty steel and appear to readily strip if you do not use them carefully and on the exact size bolt they were designed for is the second problem. I got it so I could tighten a chair. I purchased the chair in 2017 for $50 from Walmart. If I had known that the chair was being held together by a few bolts and that my screwdriver would not fit, I would have replaced it. I could tell it was a "hex" screw, but I was unable to gauge its size. Two sets of hefty, well-made tool sets that were well-made and well-labeled (see other photographs) arrived in a neatly padded packaging that was the perfect size for the tools for less than $12 and within a week of my order. I tried 6 and 5 millimeters in metric and found that 5 was the perfect match. Even though the screw is adjacent to the arm rest, the spherical top or end makes it easier to tighten it manually. The chair is like new, has no squeaks, and feels more solid when I quickly put it back together. This will be a wonderful addition to my meager tool drawer for home maintenance and, given the wide range of sizes offered, will undoubtedly tighten many future screws that get loose. Definitely less expensive than purchasing a new chair and recycling an old, useless one!

Therefore, I purposely purchased this hex key set because it included many of the very small sizes that I occasionally use. I wasn't disappointed because I didn't expect ball ends based on the product description. The Tekton tools I've purchased in the past have generally been of high quality. No, not as good as Snap-On, but still excellent for usage at home. Although these hex keys are entirely functional, I deducted a few stars because:1. The keys are not securely held in the case. As a result, they frequently shift and leave their designated spots. It's not absolutely hard to figure out which key fits where because the metric and SAE keys are different lengths (the metric keys are shorter), but it is frustrating.2. Particularly for the smaller sizes, the case labels don't line up with the slots or keys. Consequently, choosing the right key takes longer than it ought to. For a close-up, see the accompanying photo. Both metric and SAE have this issue.3. The smaller keys do not line up perfectly. In my experience, this is typical of keys of poorer quality.UPDATE:After I published my review, Tekton contacted me and offered to send me another complete set of keys. The smaller keys in this second set are straighter, but my issues with the case remain. Since the keys are of higher quality, I'm adding one point (3 to 4 stars), but I'm still deducting one star because the labels don't correctly align with the keys, which makes it more difficult than it should be to rapidly select the right key.

I don't enjoy spending a lot for these keys because I continually lose them. Usually when I have a silly assistant that doesn't care about my equipment, but nonetheless This is a passable collection; nothing particularly noteworthy about them, but they work. The useless case is the only thing I have to complain about because it increases the likelihood of their becoming misplaced. They fall out of the case with the same ease with which it opens. Despite having to pick them up half a dozen times, I haven't even utilized them. To keep the case closed, I ultimately used a piece of tape, which I'm sure I'll have to cut and reapply each and every time I use them. It would be much better if the case was better constructed and the keys didn't slide around as much inside it. Because of this, I wouldn't buy it again. Despite this, I awarded it four stars because of the price, but there's a big chance I'll lose them before I can actually use them.
