I want to wrap the wheels on my car, therefore I've been viewing a tonne of videos on car wrap vinyl. Because of the kit's affordability, I acquired these tools before I even purchased any vinyl. I also use a silhouette cameo to make a few vinyl crafts. This package is actually incredibly helpful for my non-auto related DIY vinyl crafts. The non-HTV vinyl adheres to surfaces that I would normally press with my fingertips amazingly well with the help of the squeegee. Some people permit adherence too readily. Almost everything leaves at least a few bubbles that I can never get to the edges with a squeegee, so I have to poke them out with a pin, which leaves tiny patches where dirt and grime collect and are challenging to clean.You can only imagine how excited I was when the husband purchased an expensive set of decals for his new sportbike and gave me the duty of installing them. This project needed to look excellent, but it also needed to maintain that appearance for a long period. The fact that each of these 12 decal sites had compound radii, which required the flat decals to conform to curved plastic, added to the installation's complexity. Fuuuun.I looked online since I knew my usual method of spraying everything with a water/alcohol/soap mixture, cursing, squeegeeing, cursing, using the heat gun, then cursing some more wasn't going to cut it. After browsing numerous web forums, I choose to try Rapid Tac.Although they are pricey and come in a small bottle, I decided to get the Rapid Tac Application Fluid and Rapid Prep Cleaner because I figured they would help me get decent results without destroying an expensive decal kit.I hauled all the plastic inside, took off the old designs, washed it all in hot soapy water, and then I put it all away to dry overnight. The next morning, I thoroughly cleaned the first piece of plastic with the Rapid Prep using standard, inexpensive paper towels as instructed after checking the installation instructions provided on the Rapid Tac website. I then put Rapid Tac to the plastic, took off the decal's backing, and sprayed it down before sticking the sticker on. After a few quick repositions to get it in the right spot, I began squeegeeing out the fluid from the center outward. The liquid was simply and bubble-free expelled. I was able to work the decal for at least 15 minutes before everything dried entirely and started to set up. I used a heat gun to help the decal go around corners.In roughly an hour, all 12 decals were applied on 6 pieces of plastic. There are no bubbles or creases, and the work appears to have been completed expertly. Without Rapid Tac, I would never have been able to accomplish this.If you've never installed graphics before, you won't be able to appreciate just how useful this product is, but if you've previously battled to achieve flawless results, you're going to adore this stuff. You'll be astounded by the results if you follow the instructions and make sure the surface you're working on is completely clean.

Primer 94 is a product that we frequently use at work to wrap vehicles. In most cases, we'll acquire the can, but it's useful to have the tiny pens close at hand to carry in our luggage for performing on-site installations. Without having to lug about a can and brush, they work great. I had a transparent protective coating professionally placed to this 2010 Toyota Tundra as soon as I bought it. As you can see, the film has been scorching and cracking in the hot Florida sun for almost a decade. Nobody seemed interested in trying to get rid of it without costing me a lot of money. I looked at many removal methods before finding the Whizzy Wheel, scraper, and Rapid Remover for the adhesive. Some portions have peeled off more easily than others, and this has been a laborious process. I've discovered that it's simpler when both the hot water from the hose and the hot car are involved. You can see my lovely red truck is still there beneath the film, but I still have a ways to go. I spotted a few scrapes on top, but I'm positive they are caused by sand grains that got on the paint. Being patient is a virtue, and I hope to reveal the outcome soon! Additionally, I'm still using my original blade and haven't used any of the extras that were included!

That is not the aim of it.I took off a transparent bra that had been protecting my automobile since 2012. Watching "Paint Protection Film Removal. The Right Way" on YouTube is HIGHLY recommended if you have never taken off one of these adhesive bras before. Because I started the removal process before I viewed it, there was a lot of adhesive still adhered to my bumper. Once I removed the bra correctly, there wasn't much left behind. I didn't use a blow-dryer or a steamer; just a hot day and careful pulling in the right direction.I absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about RapidTac.You don't really need to leave the product on for very long because it doesn't have a caustic smell; instead, it has a citrusy scent that is actually rather pleasant. After approximately a 30-second delay, I sprayed and was ready to go. The fact that I DID NOT use a rubber scraping instrument truly astonished me. I only used PAPER TOWELS because I lacked confidence in my ability to avoid scratching the paint and bumper. I have a slight car-related phobia.I forgot to put on gloves until I was finished, and neither my skin nor my nails were even slightly affected. (I write this two days after the fact.)Because it is a little pricey, I bought the 4 oz bottle only to try it (I tried the orange stuff from Walmart and it did NOTHING). I have a MINI Cooper, so the 4 oz bottle did my entire front end, and I still have half of the bottle left.When finished, simply wash it in plain water without any soap. A WIPO Medal for Inventors should be awarded to the individual who created this. I'll get a large bottle so I'll have it on hand when I need it.
