Nearly five stars My biggest complaint is that, due to the location of my installation, it is difficult to read the display from above or view my images from various angles. To monitor both sides of a 220v three-wire system, I installed them in my RV at a height of around 4 feet. A slight disappointment is that in order to read the displays, I must stoop to their level or below. I've covered the light switches over them in the meanwhile and will eventually cut the covers to suit. Although the instructions were a little confusing, following the pictures and running a test with a lamp made everything simple enough.Aside from that annoying visual quirk, they function perfectly. They have been measuring our electricity use for the past nine days and have pleasantly lit our RV stairway at night when we leave the backlight on.They are comparable to my kill-a-watt meter readings well enough for me to use them. Each linkstyle meter was within a few hundredths of a watt of the others while evaluating the same power demand. All measures matched my kill-a-watt meter's readings pretty closely.Given that that line is currently off, my photos show one meter reading zero.

It fulfills its promise. Where you mount or install the shunt is the problem.This helped me put solar panels on my vacation trailer. In the front is the battery. Two of these Bayite DC 6.5-100V 0-100A LCD Display Digital Current Voltage Power Energy Meter Multimeter Ammeter Voltmeter with 100A Current Shunt that I bought a month ago are now installed in my camper. I wired them so that one meter displays all current leaving the home batteries, while the other displays all current entering the house batteries. To do this, I just needed to utilize a single amp meter shunt at the negative wire of my battery bank's output. For me, this arrangement has been fantastic. There are the same voltage readings on both meters. These meters make it simple for me to monitor how my electrical system is operating. I can determine the current draw for the different loads I have (lights, water pump, standard dorm fridge, etc.) additionally, the watt-hour meter shows me how much my battery has been used (if you know the total capacity of your battery). It also enables me to monitor the voltage and current supply of my battery charger. Because the backlit display consumes such little power (3 milliamps), I leave the light on always. It works well as a nightlight. Both meters have so far operated flawlessly and were comparatively simple to install. I can't believe I put off installing something like this for so long. It is incredibly affordable and useful. It is obvious.EDIT 7/13/2018 - The meters are still very useful and in fantastic functioning condition. This ought to have been included in the equipment. I've included a picture that demonstrates how I drilled mounting holes for the two meters into a regular light switch plate and put that plate above a hole drilled into the inside of the cabinet wall.

If you are familiar with Suzuki GSXR models from 2007 and earlier, you are aware of their numerous charging-related issues (rectifier and stator). After experiencing a third charging problem with the bike, I placed this monitor up front near to my tachometer and other instruments so I could see if anything wasn't charging properly. So that it would only turn on when the bike was turned on, I hooked it to one of the fuses. It's excellent! Very straightforward, and I wholeheartedly advise installing it on any vintage sport bike or motorbike that has been known to experience charging problems. has been consistently effective for several months. Put this on my R6 later.

I bought three of these. According to the vendor's diagram, two meters are connected to the same shunt for both charging and discharging summaries. Only charging summary information from the solar panel is measured by the third meter. The batteries have not lost capacity if the combined output of the two charging meters is equal to or greater than the output of the discharge meter. The batteries' capacity has decreased and they require some recharging if/when the discharge meter exceeds the total of the two charge meters.I reviewed all the evaluations, and the one by DLH stands out as being particularly deceptive. He says that by adding a 50 amp/75 mV shunt, the issue was "fixed." Because the scaling factor is just half of the 100 amp, the reading on the meter was twice. That is in no way a cure. With this meter, only a 100 amp, 75 mV shunt will function. Additionally, he was working within a range of 1% of full scale. Although the shunt is designed with a 0.5% error, it is not a good idea to operate it thus near to 0% current. The MICTUNING meters were quite precise once I calibrated them with a variety of pricey VOMs. This system is very reasonably priced.The shunt, according to another study, is for a fuse function. It's untrue. This shunt is for metering, not protection, but some shunts are made expressly to function as fuses.The meters actually use a lot less electricity than what is reported. When the lights were off, the combined power consumption of the three meters was only 0.11 watts.Bravo, MICTUNING.See image.

As part of my efforts to alter my camper shell's arrangement, I acquired this. Since I spend the majority of my time in camp at the back of the truck and have a dual battery system with a readout in the cab, I wanted a means to keep an eye on the batteries. For my needs, the Mictuning double voltmeter is ideal. As you can see in the images, I connected it to a testing power supply at work, and the readout is clear and easy to see. It's also quite easy to set up. On the reverse, there are 3 terminals: 2 silver and 1 gold. The Gold terminal, unlike other applications, serves as the common ground for your two batteries or power sources. The positive lead from each battery or power source goes into one of the two silver terminals. I verified the mictuning's accuracy by connecting the two positive terminals simultaneously and separately and comparing the results to those from my Fluke 400a meter.With frequency, temperature, and capacitance measurements and a NIST-traceable calibration certificate with data, Fluke 400A AC/DC, 600V AC/DC TRMS Clamp MeterThis seems to be completely sealed with the exception of a tiny opening on the back, thus it should work wonderfully in the truck bed where it might be exposed to the outdoors.

When my battery was on and my alternator was operating hard, I saw it was reading low. It was correct when I tested it with a voltmeter on the battery posts! It accomplished precisely what I wanted it to; it gave me an accurate report so I can keep an eye on my electrical system in my truck and assisted me in diagnosing a weak battery. I checked my battery and will be quoting some for replacement. Additionally, it looks well on my dash. simple connect If the necessity arises, I will purchase once more.

To track voltage on a twin battery installation, I put this in my Arctic Cat Wildcat 4x. It operates flawlessly. To cut off the ground to the device, I linked it with a relay. A trigger is being used by that relay. With the ignition, the monitor is turned on and off. It would be constantly on if you didn't connect it this way. Along with a Cole Hersee 85A smart isolator, I put 2 Odyssey PC925. Additionally, I added a brief boost switch so that I could "jump off" of the backup battery in the event that my starting battery failed.
