Added this heater to a Curtis standard cab John Deere 3033r compact tractor. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't work because the room is very vast, there is only a back vinyl curtain, and there are numerous air leaks because this cab was added on. It's only 5 degrees outside, and I couldn't wish for anything better. I only used low. I spent two hours there and never once ran it on high. No gloves, just a thick shirt. You won't be let down if you purchase this. Also very simple to install

I ordered several other skirt/capri sets, and this one from Sport-it was by far the best. Excellent style and materials retain all the jiggly pieces in place while truly drawing you in. Okay, so after six months, this device functions better than I had anticipated. It doesn't heat the pan up all that much, but it's hot enough to prevent my truck's oil temperature sensor from alarming, which indicates the oil is warm enough to start driving right away. (I believe at first I did not have it completely flat on the oil pan.)does not heat up all that much; after 24 hours of operation, the oil pan to which it was attached was barely warm to the touch. (f150 oil pan flat on one side and the bottom) I've tried both, but I don't believe it heats the oil or the pan to a sufficient temperature to make a difference. Temperatures are 28 Fahrenheit, or -2 degrees Celsius, for the $50 paid, plus shipping, handling, etc., etc. I probably would have had better success if I had placed a 100-watt light bulb underneath an old horse blanket. update after the conclusion of the winter.

On all of our vehicles, I have these. They genuinely assist. Our wintertime nighttime temperatures are typically below zero. It's not at all rare to see 20 to 30 below, and occasionally even 40 below. These go on your oil pan and speed up the flow of oil into the engine. They are very easy to install and have excellent stability. Simply take off your oil pan, give it a thorough cleaning, give it a little sand with 120 grit paper, and replace it. Put the oil pan back in place and hang the plug from your front grill. Even though you still need to wait for your car to warm up before you drive, cold weather speeds up the process.

I enjoy it. It appears to function fine. I use it to keep my Harley's engine, or at least a portion of it, warm. I didn't have this before, and the bike wouldn't start in the cold because the oil was like glue. Although I have the bike securely covered, it is outside in an area that is not a garage, and it may be very chilly there.I'll grant that the heater does get hot. I accidently grabbed it wrong and came dangerously close to burning myself. I now know better.Only 4 Stars: If I could change one thing about this heater, it would be to give it more bike-mounting options. Simply put, there aren't enough exposed flat metal surfaces on the engine of my Harley for this item to attach to. Certainly, I could have just attached it to my lovely, sparkling chrome oil tank, but I don't want to damage it. In the engine compartment, I did manage to locate a sort of place where I could rest it so that it would heat the oil and engine block just enough to allow the engine to start.I'm likely to use this even when I build a shed for the bike. If you enjoy operating your machine in the cold, this is not a bad investment.

After periodically using a Little Buddy warmer for a couple of years and not being willing to pay at least $600 on a Espar or Webasto, I purchased this diesel heater for my self-converted Sprinter Van.The rubber fuel line used to connect the PVC fuel line to the heater did not come with a silencer, and it was difficult to put one into the other because it was too tight. As a result, I bought some at an auto parts store that was simpler to work with and ordered a separate silencer online. There are several YouTube install tutorials online, but the heater's provided instructions were very useless.Overall, I am really pleased with my purchase, especially considering the price. The heater has been providing us with lots of heat while using very little fuel and electricity, so even if it malfunctions in a year or two, it will still be less expensive than the alternative.
