Although I adore the brightness and the way they mounted for the license plate, there is a problem. One drawback could prevent me from using this again.When integrating this into an existing wiring harness, the wires are SMALL and prone to breaking. The wires were too small to splice with a wire clamp on, which caused me a lot of trouble. squeaked past the gap without making contact, the insulation would not be severed, and it would not create connection. I was unable to utilize one that was very small because the current wiring was 16ga. These are closer to 26 or 24 gauge! maybe smaller. The wires did break twice while I was simply tape the connection, thus I had to splice them in the difficult method and solder to maintain a strong connection. managed by first carefully zip-tying the wires beneath the plate and then using heat shrink tubing.Even after two months, they are still employed. They appear nice on the plate of my 2007 Gold Wing Trike and are quite brilliant. (Instead of holding on to the plate, they were actually fastened to the brackets holding the lights just away from it. Since you would have to cut the cables to remove or replace the plate, mounting these to a plate seemed sort of foolish.)I would rate it 5 stars if the wire was at least a strong 18 gauge. Even more would be my price for better wiring. But the LEDs are very attractive.

My trash trailer's license plate was covered by this tiny light. Since I don't intend to haul the trailer in the dark, I simply used one of the two in the box. Applying it to the trailer was easy. The wiring was rather simple. I connected the red wire to the tail light cable, and I screwed a self-tapping screw into the frame to secure the other wire. Although it was simple to fix, the wire leads may have been a little bit longer. Because the plate would flex if it were to be tilted, it was set separate from the tail light. That is more of a recommendation than a true complaint, should the need arise. Heat shrink can be useful. Which of the two wires was hot and which was ground was not specified in the accompanying instructions. Perhaps they wanted to avoid using more ink than was necessary.

I finally found a pair of bulbs that match both our Honda 2013 CRV and 2018 Pilot after having a bad experience with another brand, and wow am I pleased I replaced the factory bulbs. The bulbs are BRIGHTER than the stock bulbs that came with the car, as previous reviews have demonstrated. On my 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD, it was installed. I included a before-and-after photo. The deal for those was terrible, so water would get in and destroy the lights. I used to just run led bulbs in the housing. Enter this product as I was struggling with that. What a wonderful notion. The lamps are well-made. The lighting is quite pleasant and bright. makes my truck look fantastic. I adore how the light and housing blend seamlessly. really simple to install Simply remove the old housings, then grab the wire that once held the bulb, and connect the light to it. The lighting is excellent. In order to comprehend how the retaining clips function, I shattered one original. I can see why they don't describe it in the instructions because it's difficult to explain, but they could still include graphics to demonstrate how the clips function. It is actually brighter to use LED lights in the original casing. The LED board looks excellent, and the finish is black. My old housing was having condensation inside, so I switched. I'm satisfied with the buy overall.

Installing was easy. Remove the old ones, disconnect the new ones, connect them, and then replace them. Since they only connect via the wiring, I had trouble making sure one was properly installed, and I'm unsure of how they will fare in inclement weather. Nevertheless, as long as it doesn't rattle free, it might be okay because the region under the bumper doesn't actually get wet or full of road debris.The LEDs are brilliant, but it would be wonderful if they were pointed in a specific direction, like the license plate. With the license lights on, the camera positioned on the tailgate is practically useless, so I'm planning to create a baffle in 3D to mount above the lamps to block the upward-pointing light.Giving five stars overall. They are effective, shine brilliantly, and should be perfect provided there is no physical wire corrosion or vibrating loose.

The lights arrived on time and were installed correctly. I appreciate the crisp white colour they have.To replace a burned-out running light, I purchased these. The lights functioned flawlessly. The daytime light system, however, kept displaying a malfunction on the car's computer. I assume this was brought on by the LED bulbs' relatively low power drain when compared to the incandescent OEM bulbs.For the running lights, I switched back to incandescent bulbs, and I'll use these for interior or tag lights as well. Therefore, this product has not been downgraded; rather, it is simply something to be aware of if you are replacing OEM incandescent running lights.

My 1988 Chevy Suburban's instrument cluster now looks fantastic after I used these to replace the lights there. It turns out that they also function for the marker lights. In terms of appearance, it had no effect on the rear, but the front markers look nice. Since they are no longer truly amber, they are probably illegal, but they still look cool.Install is a drawback. It's difficult to remove the cluster, so you should take care. According to several films I subsequently saw on YouTube, breaking one of the mounting tabs is usual (I did it), but it's not a major concern. In hindsight, I should not have done this because I could hardly see my speedometer and had only one functional light in my dash. For the cool aspect alone, it would be worthwhile. Make sure the dimmer is turned up because they don't have the same voltage range as the old bulbs. When I struggled with the bezel, I ultimately turned it down, and at first they didn't light up. It took me around 20 minutes to figure it out (and some artistic cursing).

This is not frequently used. My truck is equipped with a mule kit so I can pull it behind the RV. Only when my truck is connected to the RV lighting is this in use. Was a fantastic option for anyone trying to illuminate their license plate without using their OEM wiring. I installed one on my friend's truck as well, except mine has a pair of side lights that illuminate the license plate while his lights are directed downward toward the plate. We simply tightened the bottom two plate bolts that were shining, and it is still operational. When it rains, a little water even collects on it.
If your license plate light assembly needs to be changed, you can follow these steps. First, remove the old license plate light assembly by unscrewing the two screws that hold it in place. Next, take the new license plate light assembly and screw it in place. Finally, connect the wiring to the new license plate light assembly.
To fix a license plate light, you will need a screwdriver, a replacement light bulb, and a wire brush. Begin by unscrewing the light fixture from the license plate. Once the fixture is removed, use the wire brush to clean the area around the light bulb. Next, remove the light bulb from the fixture and replace it with a new one. Finally, screw the light fixture back into place.
To replace a trailer's license plate light, first remove the old light by unscrewing it from the trailer. Next, insert the new light in its place and screw it in. Finally, connect the new light's wire to the trailer's electrical system.
