Why, in the first place, don't they include 9mm in the sets of hex sockets? This was a terrific deal when I ordered it and got it. The initial one would not fit the entire depth of the 3/8 "I would fall off my ratchet wrench if I stood square on it. This was caused by metal fragments that were lodged in and connected to the socket's base. Another that fits the ratchet wrench better was given to me without charge. It seems like the 3/8 "When the rear of the body is still still soft, a recess is created when anything pushes down into it and forces material into the opening. The second one is deep enough to fit on a regular socket, however both have some debris in the sockets. Other than that, the hex appears to be firmly fastened to the socket's body. Not Craftsman, Proto, or even Snap-on quality, but the price is still quite reasonable.

Simple brake calipers with no fancy coating—they will ultimately rust. They perform as you would anticipate. My only complaint is that the bolt heads on the included mismatched caliper mounting bolts are all different sizes despite having the same length and thread pitch (10mm to 13mm). Since no one wants to deal with a part's mismatched head diameters, I did not utilize the supplied bolts.

The two front brake callipers were re-manned OEMs and were the proper size for the car. The driver-side calliper was merely in the as-cleaned steel casting condition and coated with a grease, similar to the old military cosmolene; I expect it to be in rust by spring. One was bright silvery finish, as predicted from the images. Both of them successfully drained air and stopped the truck. The finale on Just the One was not what was promised. I could tell they were re-manufactured by various companies based on other features (plugs, clips).

As one would anticipate from ACDelco, the fit is perfect. At a fraction of the cost of the dealers' inventory, this OEM series also offers a fantastic refund. These turned out to be less expensive than remans from questionable off-brands. You never know, maybe they'll send the improved version. Out of my two, one was the coated version and the other was the non-covered.There is sufficient hardware, but not enough oil; prepare some for installation.

Like new and performs as claimed. The only problem is that the website doesn't make it apparent that these are the front brakes for a 1/2 ton truck and the rear brakes for a 3/4 ton truck, which causes confusion about fit. These are the rear brakes on my 2004 GMC Serria 2500HD truck, but the front brakes for a Suburban, for instance, are different. The only reference to the back is in a brief statement under the vehicle fit; all other descriptions, however, refer to the front. However, when I tried to install them, I discovered that they only function on the rear. I needed both the front and rear, so I locally purchased the front (which are bigger on the 2500HD). Simply put, website descriptions need to be more precise.

These callipers arrived earlier than expected. I wasn't sure the quality would be good for the price. I must say that I was quite pleased with the quality. When I added items to my cart and proceeded to check out, I was worried that I would discover a core charge, but I did not. Will definitely conduct more business with Callahan Parts in the future. I almost forgot to mention that the bleeder screws included dust covers, which are difficult to obtain at your neighbourhood auto parts store.

Has a 2005 Duramax 2500HD fitment.The bracket, new slide bolts, stainless steel anti-rattle clips/slides, and all of the rubber seals are included with the remanufactured calliper. furthermore includes fresh crush washers for the banjo bolt but not the actual banjo bolt. Instead of the idiotic torx bolts that were first put, the slide bolts were regular hex cap bolts.The calliper is not painted or coated to prevent corrosion once installed; instead, it is delivered in an AC Delco box and a plastic bag.
