Yes, daytime running lights are always on. They are designed to increase the visibility of a vehicle during the day, and they are required by law in some states.
There is a common misconception that daytime running lights (DRLs) and low beams are the same thing. DRLs are actually a type of low beam, but they are not as bright as traditional low beams. DRLs are designed to increase visibility during the day, but they are not meant to be used as the sole source of light at night. Low beams, on the other hand, are designed to provide optimal illumination at night.
Some people think that daytime running lights are to bright and that they should be dimmer. Daytime running lights are brighter than normal headlights so that they can be seen during the day. They are not as bright as high beams, but they are still bright enough to be seen.
You can use headlight bulbs for daytime running lights, but they will not be as effective as dedicated daytime running lights. Headlight bulbs are not designed to produce the same level of light output as daytime running lights, so they will not be as visible to other drivers during the day.

On a Case IH 7220, I had three burned-out flood lights, so I purchased the set of 4 from the dealer for roughly a third of the price of one light. These lights on the 7220 are a direct bolt-in replacement for the two lights above the cab and the four rear floodlights. I had to create a straightforward bracket to attach to the two low mounted front facing flood lights, but it wasn't difficult. It worked beautifully after I punched two holes in a piece of one-inch steel strap and bent it 90 degrees. To make the plugs function, I did need to remove the wires from the old lights and attach them to the new ones. The white wire from the old light goes to red, and the black wire goes to black. They appear to be quite durable and are much brighter than the originals. They are pretty nice, if they survive a long time. On my 7220, I'm tempted to swap out all 8 of them. I had to rewire and install the three lights that needed to be replaced on my tractor, as well as create the mounting for the single light, all of which took me approximately 45 minutes. In the future, working at night will be much more enjoyable; if they persist, they are strongly advised.

Since I already had very similar ones (of a different brand) for my headlights, I bought these for my taillights. Because the Kia Rio5 lacks "DRL," I T-tapped them into my parking lights. When connected to the turning lights, they do become yellow and begin to "flow." The only significant issue I have is that your tail lights are a deeper crimson than the red light. It has a gentle rose or pale crimson hue. Since brake lights aren't always on and taillights are different, I had to use a different spare wire to splice both into the brake and turning light to ensure that the blinkers always had a ground in case I forgot to put on my parking lights or made the decision not to do so. The positive brake light is connected by a red wire. Yellow is assigned to the on blinker light. Both ground wires are connected to black wire. You do have the choice to use the yellow flowing lights rather than the brake lights to switch on the red. If you place them behind the head/tail light, it will be a very tight fit, but I managed to get mine to fit. Just be careful that the cords don't come in contact with anything hot, such as copper LED load resistors (you'll likely need these if you undertake LED conversions).

Big lover of DRLs; I placed them along the top of my headlights but didn't extend them all the way to the tip (as you can see in the picture), as doing so would have required removing the headlights (and bumper to get that out), but I actually enjoy the effect and line of the lights as they are. As an extra bonus, the white changes to an amber color that stretches from the center out when the blinkers light up (unlock/lock/turn etc.). Although they are definitely not as bright as OEM DRLs, especially on a bright day, they are still well worth the money:)

When the turn signals on the driver's side failed, I used this on a 2000 JGC. The dash piece that is located just above the steering wheel can be removed without using any tools. This will reveal the two screws holding the bottom dash panel, which is located immediately below the steering wheel. Two 10mm screws are on the bottom in each corner and one more screw is on the side, in the door jam. The fuse box is accessible if you remove the lower dash covering. The flasher unit is on the top row; to access it, you must reach behind a metal bracket, but it is quite simple to remove and replace. The flasher has a rather tinny and loud sound, but it's not too horrible. And the thing is that the device functions flawlessly. Once you know how to get there, replacing it yourself is straightforward and costs less than going to a mechanic.

I choose to create a second set for my automobile with a different design and appearance. Thus, if I want to do it. My led turn signal and drl were the first things that came to me. Naturally, I returned to the store where I had purchased my first set. you can see how much I care for them from it. They are a sure thing. They are eye-catching. As I turn, I see people turning heads. Although opening your headlight is necessary, doing so is simple—just toss it in the oven.

On a 2005 Buick Century with Daytime Running lights, I fitted these. This indicates that the DRL module is connected to the front blinkers. When the hazard lights are on during the day, both sequencer flashers continuously flash at the same time. I discovered THE FIX. I connected the DRL negative "Black" to my battery's negative pole and wired the DRL positive "Red" to my ignition fuse, adding a 5 amp fuse, so the DRL strips are on when my engine is running. Because the sequencer flashers are powered continuously, I connected the "Yellow" wire to either side of the side courtesy lights that turn on when the flasher is switched on. In order to make the DRL strips turn on when the engine is running, I also installed them on my son's car, which lacks a DRL module. I did this by connecting the flashers directly to the blinker bulbs harness and running the positive (red) and negative (black) DRL strips to my ignition fuse and adding a 5 amp fuse.

I purchased these to install on my bare FZ6R. Because of the low price and the paucity of reviews, I had some skepticism. Despite being pleasantly impressed thus far. They include a respectable amount of wire. I like that they feature a built-in zip tie that can be wrapped around to secure them with 3M backing tape. In addition, I applied 3M adhesion promoter as a precaution. The reverse switch is really cool. Your turn signal immediately turns yellow when you activate it. There is a small delay when switching back to white, but nothing to be concerned about. With the nude look, I achieved exactly what I set out to do. If there are any problems, I'll update!

I recently bought a set of these to test out. I used them in tandem as my car's lights. I'm impressed with the overall design and build quality. The demon eyes and halo are quite vivid. High beams are decent, while low beams aren't that great. extremely tiny spot light pattern. I gave "water resistance" four stars because I can't vouch for their waterproofing because I haven't submerged them in water. The placement of the light switch is the only thing I find problematic. To achieve the desired beam pattern, you must repeatedly turn the red wire on and off. Strobe effect is a bad idea. I'll be trying to rewire these so that the high and low beams are run on different lines and the strobe feature is removed. I'll make an effort to update later.

UPDATE 10/5/2018: When I contacted GTinthebox customer service about my problem, they answered right away and in a helpful manner. As soon as they could, a replacement was dispatched, and this one appeared to have a lot more sturdy electrical line. The customer support deserves praise for being so attentive to my issue and guiding me through the entire procedure. I still had to take my bumper and headlight kit apart for installation, but this time, I felt much better about the purchase. The lights are currently faultless and give my accord a newer appearance than it actually has. A excellent addition to update the appearance of an Accord from 2013 to 2015, as many modern vehicles employ LED lighting and strips.I purchased this for my 2015 Honda Accord. The LED was beautiful and bright, but one of the connector wires snapped with the slightest pressure. One strip worked perfectly when I placed it according to the directions, but the other snapped, which indicates that I either received a faulty item or one of bad quality or construction given how readily it broke at the wire joint. I also have to deal with the LED strip being trapped in my headlight assembly, which is unpleasant. The LED strip's inability to sit evenly in my headlight was another problem, even with the sticky tape that came with the LED. Although the light strip itself wasn't exactly straight, the light bouncing from the headlight was sufficient to give the impression that it was. Avoid displaying the strip altogether, or simply have it face one direction and flushed below.Nevertheless, the color and brightness of the LED strip are excellent. However, I had to reduce what would have been a 5-star product to a 3-star one due to my problems.
There are a few things to consider when deciding whether or not to purchase an anti flicker for your LED headlights. The first is the wattage of your LEDs. If your LEDs are 60 watts or below, you likely will not need an anti flicker. The second is the frequency of your LED headlights. If your LED headlights are 50 Hz or below, you likely will not need an anti flicker. However, if your LED headlights are 60 Hz or above, you may need an anti flicker to ensure proper function.
If your daytime running lights are not working, one possible cause is a bad DRL relay. To test if the relay is bad, first check if there is power going to the relay. If there is no power, the relay is bad and needs to be replaced. If there is power, the relay may still be bad. To test this, disconnect the power wire from the relay and use a multimeter to test for continuity between the power wire and the relay coil. If there is no continuity, the relay is bad and needs to be replaced.
If your car came equipped with daytime running lights (DRLs) from the factory, there's a good chance the wiring is already in place. To wire your own DRLs, you'll need to connect the lights to a power source. The easiest way to do this is to tap into the power supply for your low-beam headlights.
To turn on your daytime running lights at night, you will need to first locate the switch on your dashboard. Once you have found the switch, simply turn it to the "on" position. You may need to consult your car's owner's manual to find the exact location of the switch.
The three wires on LED headlights are the ground wire, the low beam wire, and the high beam wire. The ground wire is typically black, the low beam wire is typically red, and the high beam wire is typically white.
