Wow, it's beautiful stuff and looks amazing and performs its function. I can't speak to durability now because I haven't used it for more than a day.This morning when I put it on my Warn i8000 winch and went outside, there was enough dew on it to make me grin and understand that I had chosen wisely to preserve my winch. The winch is surface rusted from the previous owner's failure to cover it.The cover should assist maintain the winch in good condition moving ahead, in my opinion.Very lovely and silky cover. The elastic, which is solid but pliable, properly covered the winch. Design is excellent.If it doesn't hold up, I'll update this review, but everything points to this being high-quality and a wise investment.

The smell of the cover was really terrible and took a very long time to go. The cover appears to be too big for my winch, a Badland winch rated for 12,000 pounds. Its breadth appeared to be adequate, but its height was excessive and it did not fit the winch securely. To make it fit on more firmly and avoid having it appear like a toaster cover, I had to fold the bottom section over on itself. It came with gloves, but one of them had sewing on the finger that made it nearly impossible to flex my finger without the stitching uncomfortably digging into the finger joint.

I got the item in two days...***** Overall: 5 Stars I'm not sure why HF doesn't offer covers, but I'm glad I got one and it fits so well. If you're anything like me, you probably spent hours poring over pages of winch covers and worried about if they would fit. You can see in my images that I modified mine by adding a junction box that allows me to relocate the winch to either the front or the back and connect it directly to a battery using jumper wires. My junction box increases height, but despite that, it still functions nicely with this cover. A

It looks good, seems to be of high quality, and fits my Champion 2K flawlessly, thus I rated it four stars. Why only four? The plastic slide broke in my hand the first time I tried to tighten the drawstring. I had to remove one from an old jacket at the closet's back. However, it does appear nice on the winch.

I've been using this cover for a year, and I think it's good overall. Even when driving in torrential rain, it unquestionably keeps the winch dry. Keeping the winch dry all the time will help it last longer, which is beneficial. The synthetic winch line will last longer as well because the cover minimizes UV deterioration. Added advantage. But now that it's turned gray, it's starting to look awful. Although I can't prove it, I'll venture a guess that the UV protectant spray is completely ineffective. Naturally, the rest of my Jeep has dents and scratches, so it blends in perfectly.Having said that, it doesn't seem too horrible to me to purchase a new one every year or so in order to preserve the winch and rope.
