My grandson is playing with the same Little Tikes Big Waffles that I bought for my two boys more than 25 years ago, and they're still going strong! I only gave three (3) stars because, since 09/05/16, I have added six (6) more sets to my existing stock. The waffles produced 25 years ago came from the USA. This year, I ordered six sets, five of which were made in the USA. The most recent batch I had was created in CHINA, and sadly, it wasn't as as well-crafted as the other waffles. I think they're not as good as the other waffles because the plastic is a little stiffer. These waffles are the Little Tike brand and are directly sold by Amazon; they are not counterfeit. The beating that other waffles have endured over the years, I don't think the CHINA ones will endure. Shame on you, Little TIkes. You're ruining your brand and reputation to save a few dollars. UPDATE NOTE: I have changed my rating to 5 STARS. In order to voice my concerns with the CHINA goods, I called Little Tikes. An "Escalated Incident Specialist" that I dealt with identified herself. I related the story to her above. She claimed that after a brief period of using CHINA, all Big Waffles are now produced in the USA. She sent me a set of USA-made waffles after telling me to return the CHINA-made ones to her immediately. A for customer service. Little Tikes has unquestionably regained its self-assurance and American pride.

purchased for the 6-month-old grandson we watch while his parents are at work. Due to his husky build, his mother dubbed him "Chunky Monkey." The monkey even makes monkey noises and says, "I'm a happy monkey." grandchild adores it I initially wanted to get a conventional ring stack, but the engaging sounds of VTech make it impossible to go wrong. The stacker is still fun even though he hasn't quite mastered putting the rings on (sometimes does it unintentionally, haha), with encouragement ("keep stacking," etc.), songs, and lots of interaction when just knocking it over or yanking a ring off (seems to be easier right now to pull ring off than putting it on). The grandson enjoys chewing on the rings as well. He now has a lot of VTech products (Mama got him the remote control and Iphone a month or two ago and those are very entertaining as well.) 5 *****

bought two, one for his baby bag and one for a car. I've enjoyed this product for several months now after reading about it on a baby blog. We've survived lengthy waits of one or more hours at the doctor's office, the airport, and even at a funeral (though they're kind of loud, so I wouldn't recommend this be your intended use for them), etc., with the help of this toy, with our now 20-month-old. He loves them, and we've had them for almost seven months. I've read that older children also enjoy it since they can begin creating specific shapes rather than merely connecting the magnetic bricks.Given how many individuals I've assisted in buying this over the last six months, I could work as a sales representative for this firm. Other children have been allowed to play with them, which has helped pass the time as we wait.One important tip is to always make sure you have 6 pieces after you're finished playing with them (like the doctor is about to see you now), so you have to rush to make sure you have 6 pieces, and actually put them back together in order right there and then. Otherwise, you'll subsequently have to check your bag to see if you still had 6 pieces. We haven't lost one yet, but since hubs sometimes forgets to put it back together and it's a hassle to look for tiny pieces, I usually put it back together and pack it before we leave. It only takes a moment, but it will also briefly exercise your brain.

My expectations were not met by this collection. I questioned whether 8 blocks would be sufficient to keep anybody occupied, but these came to the rescue on a recent 17-hour road journey. Just two blocks held our 11-month-attention old's for nearly two hours. He was amused and quiet for another 30 or so minutes after we put them away and pulled out the skinny blocks for another part of the journey.They were well-liked by our other kids. The 7-year-old spent an hour playing with the set.The actual blocks themselves are decently made. They have a solid wood block appearance and feel. When the components are clasped around a magnet, you can just barely make out a slight seam. The magnets are powerful enough to hold the blocks together and prevent them from disintegrating, but not so powerful that small hands can't purposefully release them.The block storage envelope is incredibly nicely made and simple to use. The blocks fit into the envelop inside the diaper bag with ease and stay there.I like the blocks even though they aren't exactly what I expected. They cannot be used to construct conventional block-type buildings since they are magnetized, and magnets have poles, but they are useful for various kinds of exploration and discovery. These are not the building blocks you're looking for. For a really robust and high-quality building block set, I like ECR4KIDS 64 block set.This is a wonderful option if you're looking for a high-impact toy for your diaper bag that doesn't make (much) noise.

Update: Adding a star because they can be used as stamps with Play-Doh and you can simply rip off the edge; just be careful not to press all the way through or your doh will get stuck!My first impressions are that these are fine if all you want is for the letters to line up, which my child likes, but my 2-year-old doesn't like that the I and H are so similar. Even though it is turned, he attempts to ignore it when searching for I since he perceives it as a sideways H. They were supposed to stack and serve as Play-Doh molds, which is why I purchased them, but that turned out to be somewhat disappointing. It was nearly tough for me to remove the play-doh from the letters, let alone a young child, and they are challenging to stack in the correct letter positions, at least if you want to go in alphabetical order (which my son considers imperative). The good news is that they are big enough to not present a choking risk.

These blocks, in my armchair Antiques Roadshow view, are of heirloom grade.Into the ring!They are clever, straightforward blocks. magnets that snap and repel at predefined spots. What are statics, geometry, mechanical design, magnetism physics, teamwork, sharing, and social problem-solving? Please, yes.Our daughter showed no interest when we gave her these as a birthday present. She also had other playthings, such a kitchen. She's just two, so I can't really blame her.Her grandfather then started having fun with them. My father is grinning and completely focused on erecting a skyscraper. The young child flips it over while grinning and starts using gampa to build with blocks. There are now three people, ages 2, 39, and 64, creating a skyscraper together as her uncle sits down.There are no age restrictions on these blocks.The blocks' design is its best feature.There are restrictions imposed by the magnet positions, geometric shapes of the blocks, and number of blocks. These restrictions encourage creativity and offer direction.There will definitely be more Tegu blocks in our home.

These were bought as a Christmas present for our 3-year-old. Great value considering how many bristle bricks you receive. We chose to get additional normal ones in order to make larger objects even though we already have some. The round bricks in this set can twist and revolve, which adds to the enjoyment of playing make-believe.There is plenty of space in this container compared to our other set, which has a screw top lid and occasionally doesn't fit them all in. The fact that the tabs you slide to open and close are not stationary is the only minor drawback. Every time you open this, they fully slide off, which is a little frustrating because they could get mixed up with the bristle blocks. It's unclear to me if mine was flawed or if that's how they all arrive.With them, we've had a lot of fun creating rockets, castles, and airplanes:)
