The Artisan Shoppe Series IV pack of 3 tiny brushes is the subject of this review. 3/0For the detail work I do, these are AMAZING.I create little ACEO paintings of various subjects. I like to paint subjects like landscapes, animals, and flowers that have many minute details. watercolor, oil, and acrylic. I use a different brush for each material that I paint with.The size of an ACEO card is similar to a sports trading card. 2.5 by 3.5 inchesYou can see how little it is from that.Since I started painting a couple of years ago, I've used a lot of detail brushes.Additionally, I have consistently searched for a better detail brush. The ideal brush for details. I've spent a lot of money on it and it's been a quest. Even trying to make my own detail brush by chopping off the bristles of another brush didn't quite turn out right.Therefore, for what I'm looking for, these brushes are the best I've yet discovered. I have no issues using these. I'm even purchasing a second pack just to have a backup and have plenty for a while.The brush's tiny tip maintains its sharpness even when wet and filled with paint.It paints easily and has sufficient flexibility to paint a straight line.Not a single bristle has come out on me.The handle is quite cozy. I've never used a brush with a handle like this before, but I thought I'd give it a shot. A better grip is beneficial. Additionally, I have arthritis in my fingertips, so the wider brush helps me maintain a stronger grasp.There may be better miniature detail brushes out there; I haven't tested them all, though.But as I've already mentioned, I've tried a lot of other ones, and I believe these are going to remain my top choice for a while. I'm ecstatic about these.And you know what? This is an honest and true review. I haven't received any money, a deal, or anything else in exchange for this review.I don't write reviews very often, but when I do, it's usually because I have strong feelings about the item. And as an artist, I am aware of how difficult it may be to locate the ideal tool to support our artistic endeavors.

I'm rather certain you need something different to clean your airbrush if you spray enamels; I don't think this will work for those colors. I wanted anything that might work to prevent the airbrush from clogging up and maybe even lubricated after transitioning from enamels to acrylic paints for my model tanks, so I thought I'd try this. I had my doubts about this product since even after 40 years of working in the automotive industry and using many cleansers and solvents, I still couldn't tell the difference between "non-toxic" and "useless." as that has been my experience with "non-toxic" solvents, save for Simple Green. However, so far so good—despite the fact that I used rubbing alcohol first—it cleaned the airbrush. If I can keep a small amount in the airbrush cup between uses, it has to be better than alcohol. It is less expensive than Tamiya thinner but not as effective, nor is it as cheap, as rubbing alcohol is. Why people claim that alcohol would damage your airbrush seals is beyond me. If the seals can't withstand rubbing alcohol, I would assume that paint will also cause them to degenerate. My goal is that this cleaning would prevent the paint from drying in the brush between usage because I dislike taking my airbrush apart. I can take them apart with no trouble, but putting them back together again seems like a greater challenge.

I had some reservations about the price and getting something similar from Amazon. Reviews for other stands that offered brands comparable to ours were awful. Because of the wonderful reviews it had previously received, this one stood out to me. I'm happy I took the chance. Given that there are 3 English words on the front, the packaging did initially appear a little shady. When I discovered 11 (yes 11,) high-quality, fully metal-made alligator clip stands, I was pleasantly delighted. Although the stand for it is made of weak Chinese plastic, it does the job very well. An complete 1/24 truck body fit easily into one clip. It's exactly how I like it—cheap, reliable, and effective. I'd definitely buy it again. (Be sure to attach the base holding the clips in some way to your table or surface. Velcro worked well for me.)

I must admit that I was a little wary when I first received these. Mostly because I believed that a nice set of brushes would cost an arm and a leg. This set has been fantastic thus far (I haven't gotten a chance to utilize the large brushes yet).Regiment is a workhorse of a brush. I recently found myself using only this brush to base coat one of my dudes for my kill team. The entire time, it maintained a fine point. The brush truly does hold paint.2. Character - I frequently use this brush when I need to add a few additional details that the regiment can't handle but that still require more paint than their detail brushes.3. I used the detail feature to highlight. Very pleased with the brush's ability to maintain a point, and using the brush's side for edges works like a charm.4. I've just used this to paint in some space marine eyes thus far. Insane Detail did the job without any problems.5. Psycho - I used this to emphasize the eyeballs on my space marine because, well, why not? This brush is quite tiny and short, but it does the job.6. Monster - I painted some scenery using this. This brush may also be utilized as a wash brush. It caught my attention and, like mine, kept its focus throughout the task.I haven't used the remaining brushes yet, but I will update this page as I do.These brushes are fantastic for the price and what you get. All of them appear to hold a point quite well and retain a substantial amount of paint in the bristles for painting. After a painting session, I do make sure to clean my brushes and lay them flat rather than standing them up to dry. These brushes ought to last quite a while with careful maintenance. If you're only going to purchase one brush from this set, I'd suggest getting the Regiment. I cannot stress how much I like that brush. Another thing to note is that the majority of the brushes have triangle-shaped handles, which I find to be incredibly comfy. My hand usually starts to hurt after an hour of painting, but with these, that didn't seem to be an issue. Like the majority of Army Painter packages, this one included their painting manual as well. It was incredibly helpful for new individuals, according to what I read. Wish I had known that before I began. Overall, 5 out of 5!The little dry brush is meh, just an update. For that, I like to use a brush with firmer bristles. It might be put to other uses. The unit is still able to hold its own. In my mind, the set is still a 5.

For my two airbrushes, I ordered two of them. One was excellent. The spring-loaded barrel on the opposite one, which you slide to disconnect, didn't go very smoothly and wasn't springing back as it ought to. I'm not sure if I simply received a faulty one from Amazon, but both now function flawlessly. I would advise them unless you have your equipment always linked.

This airbrush appears to be very nicely crafted for a cheap tool, with close-tolerance machining and well-fitting parts. The dual action valve is smooth and delivers a decent pressure and fluid flow gradient over its range, despite the fact that I am a beginner at airbrushing. Spraying a richly coloured, thinned mixture using a two part epoxy onto sandblasted glass is yielding excellent results for me. Even with that naturally sticky combination, it sprays uniformly and leaves behind a fine mist. Even though it is a really unique use case, if you are a hobbyist who wishes to spray various paint and solvent mixtures, I believe this would be a good option for you. I adore it.

It takes a hot minute to put together, but it's worth the money and some minor annoyance. One straight double drawer and one straight single drawer are all that I have of the straight 35mm parts. Depending on your level of experience and whether you used adhesive, it may take you 10 to 20 minutes to assemble each individual one. I decided to use glue to strengthen every connection (just white glue).The rack is strong enough as it is, but if you glue or connect two straight sections together, you can't take it up by both sides; instead, you must pull it up by putting your hand beneath one of the racks to keep it from cracking. This problem disappears if you buy the drawers that fit underneath it.Overall, it's good to see my paintings on exhibit. I'm delighted I found these because I intend to purchase some of the 90-degree parts. Worth the cost and hassle. Simply use caution when lifting or moving.

I needed to find some things to keep my almost three-year-old occupied because she wasn't showing much interest in painting. I came across this brush set and made the decision to use it. Wow, she adores this so much! Likewise, my six-year-old does. I didn't give her every brush at once; instead, I gave her three distinct ones, which will keep her occupied for at least 20 minutes (which is a long time for me!). It's actually pretty well made, has fantastic quality, and the paint comes off easy. Since I haven't even used them all yet, they last a while.
