Saloon doors are a type of door often used in western-style buildings, such as bars or pubs. They are usually made of two swinging doors that open in the middle, and are often decorated with frosted glass or stained glass. Saloon doors can be locked, but they are not typically used as a primary means of security.
To make a door swing both ways, you need to use a double-acting door hinge. This type of hinge allows the door to swing in both directions, making it convenient for high-traffic areas.
Flappy doors are also known as accordion doors or folding doors. They are commonly used in commercial settings, such as restaurants, hospitals, and schools.

I needed doors for my bathroom, and these were perfect. The doors did not require trimming even though my opening was only 35 3/4" wide because there was still enough space between them. I'm pleased I hung the doors to test their fit first. It is challenging to hang the doors precisely the first time, so prepare to drill new holes and move brackets on at least one side to achieve the desired alignment. The height may also need to be changed. In the end, I set the lowest brackets 23" off the ground. Since I am 6'2", 23" may be excessive for most people. I found some websites that suggest 20". The included screws will hold a wooden frame together, but if you're going through drywall, you'll need your own screws. I used 1 1/2" #10 screws on the bottom brackets and 1 1/2" #6 screws on the top brackets because I had to go through drywall. It could be necessary to sand the grooves that were carved into the doors to give them the appearance of panels. A sanding block that is 1" wide works nicely because the grooves are 1" wide. Even though the primer on the doors is fine, it is somewhat gray, so you should generally plan on two layers of paint even if you might be able to get away with one. A white semi-gloss was applied.

In our dry climate, one somewhat twisted, but I wouldn't have noticed. Despite all my fiddling, I could never get the damn things to line up when closed. After that, I went to my neighborhood hardware store and got a six-pack of strong circular magnets, which I then glued into holes on either side of the door's borders. They are not noticeable when painted over. The grandchildren think they are fantastic and they actually close perfectly now.

Well-made, beautiful doors. The pine in its raw form looks fantastic. It is a straightforward privacy fix. However, installation is more difficult than the video suggests. Although it is crucial, the sizing is NOT mentioned in the video. Choose with confidence knowing they will look fantastic, but be sure to purchase a size that is one inch smaller than the opening you currently have. If the door total is exactly the same as the opening, it won't fit because it needs room to spin. If the door total is more than two inches greater than the opening, you'll either need to spend hours installing moulding or risk having a gap. I was able to install one set after spending hours constructing a moulding over the opening, but the second pair was too small and I had to send it back. My friend is an angel, and she helped me. I won't stop working on the second set and will purchase a smaller one.I have an open floor plan, and I really prefer that my visitors don't see the soiled dishes or the kitchen after dinner when they are in the living room or dining room. When I host guests, I put off cleaning because I like to take my time and enjoy the company. This door design gives your kitchen a more relaxed appearance while serving its purpose without cutting off your space.

Old West saloons were the social hubs of their towns and served a variety of drinks and foods. The most popular drink was whiskey, which was often made by the saloonkeeper and served neat. Other popular drinks included beer, champagne, and wine. Saloons also served a variety of food, including meats, cheeses, breads, and pies.
A batwing door is a type of door that has two panels that hinge on either side of the door frame. The panels are typically made of wood or metal and are held together with hinges. Batwing doors are often used in entryways or as room dividers.
A butler door, or larder door, is a door that leads to a food storage area, typically in a kitchen. The name comes from the fact that in larger homes, this door was traditionally manned by a butler. Today, butler doors are less common, but they can still be found in some older homes and in some newer homes that are designed in a traditional style.
A door sash is the frame around a door. It is usually made of wood, but can also be made of metal or plastic. The door sash helps to hold the door in place and keep it from swinging open.
A double acting hinge is a hinge that allows a door to be opened in either direction. The hinge has two leaves, each with their own set of knuckles. The leaves are connected with a pin, and the door is attached to the leaves with screws. The double acting hinge is a common type of hinge used on doors in homes and businesses.
