The best features of this product are its simplicity, usability, and durability. When you buy the Blink system, this need to be included as standard equipment. This makes everything appear so much nicer; I disliked the base unit hanging by the power cord on the wall. They fail to indicate that it can be used with either the top or bottom outlet. The base unit's plug-in isn't grounded, so when I plug in a large three-prong plug that has to go in the bottom outlet, the whole thing will be turned upside down. Wonderfully effective! The creator of this deserves a medal!

This tiny camera/video monitor is excellent in every way. I bought a second one a few days later after purchasing the first one on Amazon Prime Day since I enjoyed it so much ( still an awesome deal for the price). They were quite easy to put up. The vista, which is in vivid color, spans a wide area. I can now see and communicate with my small dogs thanks to the app, but more importantly, I can now see and record anyone who enters my house without permission. A motion detector is also there, which you can switch on or off. If there is any movement in the room, the motion detector is turned on and alerts you via your phone. My phone was at my side last night when I went to bed, so I knew exactly when my kid arrived home! No recurring charges. If you want to keep an eye on your house (or your animals), I highly recommend investing in one of these miniature indoor/outdoor security cameras.

I adore the three tilt/swivel cameras I purchased. To keep an eye and ear out for predators and issues in the coop, I use one in our chicken coop. In order to determine when it is appropriate to let the females out, we may also examine how many eggs have been laid. The additional cameras are located on my front and rear porches. I adore being able to see and hear any action outside from inside my home. Within 5 to 10 seconds of receiving an alert, I receive a text message with a video and audio of the event that caused the alarm. So that we are alerted if other animals approach our cat's feeding area and so that we are not bothered by alerts from areas in the back yard that we are not interested in receiving alerts from, I have the motion sensitivity on my back porch set to 20 and a small area of the screen to detect movement around the area. Other than that, we adore these cameras. Sometimes the motion tracking is a touch wide. I have given them the endorsement to friends and family who have also bought from them.

There is also an option to set the camera to warn whenever a smoke detector or other alarm in the house sounds.All cameras are displayed on the app's home screen. To view and hear a live broadcast, users must tap one. A 10 second alert video clip is displayed when users tap EVENTS. Clips can be shared or downloaded.The entire clip can be seen by time/date by tapping playing. We purchased outdoor mounts and have them outside. performs better for mounting on the outside than the one included with the XT-2. The installation looks fantastic. protects the camera as necessary. In the video, take note of the hail striking the housing and streaming down all around. To be on the safe side, I applied a tiny bead of caulk to properly seal the housing's top seam, which appeared as like it may leak just a little.

My son was so happy with the cameras he bought from this firm that he wanted these for them. It is unusual for him to have a wishlist as his birthday falls a week before Christmas, but this time he let me to purchase these for him. He frequently doesn't give me enough time to acquire the goods he wants before he makes the purchase himself, therefore I typically end up handing him money. However, he purchased additional cameras in order to install some outside because they were so excellent. Even with an alarm system, someone broke down the door to the house my mother left us. We want to photograph them. They continue to return despite the addition of motion-sensitive light bulbs, which they didn't seem to be aware of. Better photographs should result from the use of the cameras and lit locations. My son wants to add more cameras under the carport and the roof of the front porch. For now, we installed them in the windows, and they work beautifully. They'll be protected by the roof, so I believe they'll be okay. They probably wouldn't have any issues outside with this defense.

I've placed a few Arlo Pro cameras using both the included conventional magnetic mounts and these security mounts, and I have to say that the security mounts are far superior. They are not only composed of strong metal, but they are also constructed in a way that gives me hope that they will endure the elements and last for many years. The cameras may be rotated into a variety of positions, and the tightening screw seems to keep the cameras firmly in place.1. Simple to install. Three basic screws are provided with the anchors.2. incredibly robust. Metal with a long lifespan.3. Exceptional rotational and camera placement versatility.4. Everything is quite safe.1. Mount sticks out so far that it may appear odd at some angles or make it more difficult to point precisely where you want it to.2. It makes no sense to tighten the mount itself in order to secure everything in place. screws in the unexpected direction, which occasionally causes me to lose my position.Overall, I have found that these are the best options for installing my Arlo Pro cameras in an unsecured area. Although I've found that the common magnetic mounts function well outside and under cover, I wouldn't rely on them in severe weather conditions like snow, rain, or wind. Although these mounts can be used both indoors and outdoors, indoor use is probably far excessive. If you plan to install your Arlo cameras outside, look no further because they are constructed to resist the weather like a tank.

Although I truly appreciate the Blink XT system I bought, I was quite dissatisfied with the shoddy mount that went along with it. That would be acceptable for interior use, but for an outside security camera, it was the system's weakest link. Someone may have come quickly from a distance, jumped up, and simply taken the camera off of its mount before throwing it to the side. not even long enough to take a picture.However, that won't happen with this mount. The camera's direction can be changed much more easily and with far greater security.The case is pretty attractive, and the top has a sun protection to assist shade the lens. Although I don't need it for my porches, this function is fantastic. If you are hard wiring your cameras, there is a port on the bottom of the casing where you can run a cable. I employ a battery. Although changing the battery with this new mount will be more difficult, the battery is expected to last for two years, so that is hardly a drawback.Five tiny screws hold the case in place. Extra points for including more screws—seven are included. They are really little, and a tiny screwdriver is also provided. Because they are so small and my eyes aren't as young as they once were, it was a little difficult to get them screwed down. But not difficult, in my opinion.Compared to the camera's original mount, the casing fastens to the mount's stem with a lot more security. The camera simply snapped into that piece of plastic. With the new case, you screw the stem onto it before tightening a ring to secure it. To undo this and remove the camera from the mounting would take some time. At the base of the stem, there is an adjustable collar that you may tighten or loosen in order to change the camera's direction. It is mounted to the surface with three strong screws. There are four screws supplied. Once more, bonus points for more screws. Since screws are so inexpensive and are easy to drop and lose, I like that anything I buy comes with an additional screw or two. Adding an extra screw shouldn't be an issue for anything of quality. If this is an interior application, screw sleeves for dry wall installation are also available.Overall, I have nothing but appreciation for this system. Blink has to get in touch with the creator and make a deal for all of their XT outdoor cameras to come with this mounting solution. Compared to the tiny little mounts they use for their indoor systems, it is far better. Simply put, those are insufficient for outside security. It is this mount.

I have four residences spread across several states, and I can monitor them all with a single app.Sadly, Wyze Cam does not provide a camera specifically for outdoor use. I put three units outside my home in Nebraska to test out this protective cover. Although some form of protection was provided for each Wyze Cam Pan, the winters in Nebraska may be very cold. This protective cover will last for sure, but what about the Wyze Cams? The wall mount and protection case both function perfectly and were simple to install. For those who are new to this procedure, you need access to 110v electricity because the Wyze Cams demand continuous electrical input. In one of my installations, I bored a 1/2-inch hole in the house's side behind the Cam, passed the Wyze Cam's power cable through the hole while it was mounted to the wall, and finished up. I used some silicone to seal the hold, and it works great. Following the winter, I'll update this article.
