I recently made a fourth purchase of the Sony MXD-D3 CD-to-MD deck. Why? When they initially became available in 2000, I had already purchased my first one. I probably produced more than 80 CDs on my own, essentially running the machine to the ground. And by "self-produced," I mean that I did everything myself, using this wonderful Sony product, whether the source material was a CD (using the deck's native CD side) or a DVD (through the deck's Analog IN). I also did the dubbing, mixing, and editing for all of the CDs. Since I couldn't instantly find another MXD-D3 deck after my original one died (and to be honest, I couldn't blame it; it really got that much use), I bought a Sony MD deck (I have no idea what model #) and connected it to a CD player so that I could record. To be honest, though, I never really "made friends" with that other deck; instead, I yearned for another MXD-D3 and eventually located one. I have three MXD-D3s right now, and while they are all functional, I am picky about things like favorite audio components, so I always keep two (2) totally functional MXD-D3s on hand to ensure that my CD manufacturing is never hampered. Now, about MiniDisc technology: back in the day, Consumer Reports warned us that MDs created from even the greatest CD sources would experience a variance (or, perhaps I should say, sonic degradation) of 15–25%. To me, this would never be enough. Why create a CD for posterity if the sound quality is subpar? Therefore, I would hold off till MD technology advanced. It most certainly had by 2000! I bought a Sony Walkman MD out of curiosity, and I recorded a test track from a CD I was extremely familiar with. (This is usually a smart move.) I was surprised that I couldn't distinguish between the CD and the recently recorded MD! I quickly traded in the MD Walkman for my first Sony MXD-D3, and as I've already mentioned, I've been using that particular model with pleasure ever since. Do I intend to upgrade to a newer model at any point? Without a doubt. Instead, until my fingers fall off and I am unable to toggle my way through the numerous MD modifications, I will continue to buy the MXD-D3 as New / Open Box, Used, or Like New. Oh, and by the way: did you know that the Sony MXD-D3 allows for editing at a frame rate of up to and including 85? Yes, 85 frames per second allows for (if you have the talent) absolutely fantastic editing from CD start to CD finish. So here's some advice: if you intend to build your own CDs from scratch, acquire a Sony MXD-D3. You will be astounded by what it and you are capable of. The advertisement has ended.

He swiftly started the procedure for a replacement without having to ship back the defective item and asked for a video of the problem to aid their quality team.On Sunday, I had an email communication with customer service agent Dom, and on Tuesday morning, I received the replacement. In the last two years, we've gone through four portable DVD players that cost at least twice as much as this one. They've all failed. They had low-quality internal parts, a terrible screen color, and unmanageable loudness. All of them used dbpower. Please stay away from those items. Additionally terrible was the customer service. They only ever gave me a refund once. Let's now discuss DR. Q. I'm completely satisfied with this portable DVD player because it doesn't skip DVDs like the previous dbpower products' did. Which is very great news for my daughter. The color is gorgeous and in HD quality. Excellent volume—neither too loud nor too soft. Battery life is excellent. Quite easy to understand controls If you wish to charge and use a DVD player at the same time, the lengthy wires are perfect. The only thing I'm having trouble with is stopping the DVD to change it. Turning it off is the only way I've found to get it to stop spinning. This is not at all significant. guards against the DVD getting scratched. To determine what would work best for the DVD, you will need to experiment a little with the color contrast, but this is true of any the or DVD player. The remote's blue buttons with black print might be a little challenging to read for someone with weak vision, but I have no trouble seeing them. Due to the product's good quality and affordable pricing, I would give it a better rating. Don't try it if you're skeptical of it. I wish I had discovered this sooner. This tiny Tenker device is a welcome surprise because it has so many wonderful capabilities, including a Remote Control! Since I've only had it for a few (busy) weeks, I haven't had a chance to test the DivX file replay functionality, but I will do so soon. Other than that, playing normal DVDs and MP3s (music) from a tested USB flash drive has worked flawlessly. But wait, it also features an SD slot and an A/V input/output! (You ask, 'What does that mean?')That implies:• SD card slot - Store MP3s and DivX video files on an SD card, and keep it loaded (in the slot) so that they are always available to play without risking damage to the card or player, as might happen if a USB stick protrudes and snags or breaks while being stored or transported. He/she advised removing the battery contact coils by prying. I pry out the flat connections in addition to doing that. The remote's placement in relation to the player was also crucial in my opinion. Only SOME of the buttons function, and I had to hold it just below the player to get it to operate.The player is simple to control manually. high caliber.ADVANCED: 8/23/2018 Customer support representative Bella from Tenker called me and suggested a free replacement.
