For relocating, we purchased this stretch plastic wrap, which we primarily utilized to wrap shelving. It's quite simple to use and does an excellent job of keeping the components together. I've bought plastic wrap in the past, but it came on a cardboard tube and was difficult to use for wrapping because the plastic was fixed and wouldn't spin freely on the tube. Husband claims that while attempting to wrap everything up, his hands became warm. You can change the tension on this by grasping the plastic wrap itself because it is free-spinning. It makes rapid work of packaging shelves and enables for tight or loose wrapping. If he could, my husband, who adores the material, would probably use it to wrap anything that came within arm's reach.

almost perfectly. This is how it goes. Two buttons, one on each end, are activated when you lift the lid. The insert is now free. Pulling the loose end of your roll of plastic wrap out and back over the lid after inserting it. Change out the insert. The plastic's tail is currently tucked between two other pieces of plastic. At their ends and in the center of those components are three curving cutouts. This enables you to snip the end and then pull it out to the desired length. Bring the lid all the way down to cut. Although it doesn't seem like anything changed, the plastic is sharply cut when you lift the top. Once more stuck between the bits of plastic, the fresh roll end is waiting for you to pull it out.You could draw the end of the roll back into the machine's body by picking up the loaded dispenser and shaking it; in that case, you would simply open the insert and reload. Nothing major. I'm a little shocked. I really didn't anticipate such a smooth operation. If it makes a difference, I've been using 100-foot rolls of Saran wrap. I don't understand why it should operate differently with other brands. The lid that you lift to grab the roll end is about halfway open, but if you prefer, you may seal it with a simple one-handed twist clasp to prevent crumbs from falling in. I feel sturdy and well-made, and I anticipate that it will hold up long enough to be well worth the cost.It probably won't take very large rolls, as mentioned in other reviews. It comes with two pairs of soft rubber shoes that provide it with a lot of traction on a counter. However, on my gleaming stainless counter or on top of my bread box with no-fingerprint enamel, it is not weighty enough to remain steadfast when you pull a length. That truly isn't a huge deal. You still need one hand on the dispenser because it pretty much requires two hands—one to pull and one to push the top down to cut. To make mine stick to my steel counter or breadbox, I'm planning on attach a sheet magnet to the bottom. Naturally, if it's fastened with screws, no issue. It won't work with foil, as stated in the instructions. However, I have a suspicion that wax or parchment paper would also work.All of our bread is baked by me, and I frequently have to draw a foot of plastic wrap to cover a bowl while it's proofing. I detest messing with a plastic wrap box and the subpar cutting edge that comes with it. In addition, the box crumbles before I complete the roll. Not again, please. It does, as I stated, work!

I've avoided numerous hours of hand rolling thanks to these wrap grips. I can easily wrap whatever I need because the rolls just glide as I walk. Near the floor, it is difficult, but that is to be expected. If you do a lot of wrapping but aren't ready to invest in an automatic machine, I would definitely recommend it.
