Prior to mounting the TV, you completed all of this and routed the wires and cords.Everything was beautifully structured, everything worked well, and it made for some really secure mounting.I used to get annoyed using inexpensive double-sided tape for these kinds of tasks. You know, that thin, white substance that only adheres temporarily? My lines and cables would quickly begin to dangle again as the tape warmed up, softened, and peeled away. With this VHB, not so. Some plastics may not be compatible with it. It works. My doors and frames date back thirty years. Approximately every two years, I have changed the weather seal around the front door. I occasionally encounter puffy vinyl stripping, and it seems like I always need to go back and add a little layer of foamy seal to close up all the gaps between the door and frame. I simply chose a thicker band of the foamy substance this time. That ancient front door's insulation is doing a great job.It was quite cold when I put it on, and at first it didn't stay. So I planned to blow dry it with a hair dryer until it became warm and stuck. However, if it doesn't attach on the first try, wipe the surface you are sticking it to with alcohol. It turned out that I didn't need to after all. Then use a hair dryer to warm the surface. It will stick for you, I promise. This thing has more applications than I could have ever dreamed. I originally bought it so that I could tape it to the wall and use it as a cushion to protect my electronics and power blocks. With the glue, it provided some additional support and cushion between the hard plastic objects and the drywall or other surface. After that, I used it for a rubber mat in my garage, where it has remained in place during a long, extremely rainy winter. This tape is simply inferior to all other D/S tape! It clung to every porous and flat surface I've ever put it on, and it still does now! Due to its high temperature rating, I used it to secure LED lights that can become very hot. I'll be the first to say that taking off the backing can be a bit of a pain, but I've discovered that a little set of needle-nose pliers works beautifully! When it has only been on for a short while, you can gently pull it off; but, after a few days, forget about it ever coming off. I tested this out on a few test parts. After a few days, if you attempt to remove the tape, it just disintegrates while remaining adhered to both sides. very best
