HEALTHYMODELLIFE Ankle Weights Set by Healthy Model Life - 1lb, 2lb, 5lb and 8lb Sets - As Worn by Victoria Secret Angels - Used in Top Gyms in New York Review:

Get back to what works! Perfect.(I am a healthy 60 year old male. The fact that these were targeted towards women doesn't bother me.)I used gentle ankle weights similar to these (brand unknown, though they were gray with orange trim). They were fantastic and were far more comfortable than the "removable lead slug" kind I used to have (difficult on the ankles when tight; I owned it for many years).2. I chose soft with a "nylon strap in the middle," still "soft," when they wore out and left bb's in my sneakers. There are many in that genre, and they are all, in my opinion, an FAIL. While standing, it is challenging to thread the velcro strap through the metal loop because the upper weight area flops over the strap. Finding the end of the velcro strap after exercise is a terrible effort when you're exhausted because the soft weight upper half rolls over the mid strap when you're working out. Nothing about this popular fashion appeals to me. Oh, and the strap aggravates your ankles because it must be tight to prevent weight from "flapping" when in use.3. I found these from STRONGER after DOUBLE the amount of searching. Just like my old weights, perfect. The weight is uniformly distributed longitudinally across your sneaker and your ankle, and it just requires one large tab to put on and one large tab to pull off to open. There isn't a single pressure point that can be located.Great product at last. superior in every respect.Unknown reliability. I only have one seek for them. I'll let you know if the velcro isn't strong enough for prolonged use.

Sportneer Ankle Weights, Adjustable Weights Wrist Arm Leg Weight Straps for Fitness, Walking, Jogging, Workout, 1-5 lbs Each Pack, 2 Pack 2-10 lbs (Max 5 LBS) Review:

They are effective. In contrast to the others, they are cozy and have decent aesthetic appeal—no garish colors. Most importantly, based on my experience with a different, less expensive brand, they have wide straps that don't twist much (they could still be half an inch bigger). There is no cutting corners because the Velcro is quite robust and the strap is long. The strap's thickness could be increased to increase its durability. Because it is two inches into the weight rather than over the gap, the metal (Not Plastic) buckle is required. That's significant. The buckle on the other brand I had ripped into my ankles since it was over the opening where your leg would normally go open and the buckle was twisted. These don't because the straps are broad enough to prevent twisting and the metal buckle from rotating 90 degrees into your calf. They aren't over the gap, thus they can't. Purchase just a weight that has this style of strap and buckle. On my nature walk, it took me four days to get used to them. Initially, the difficulty was in the hefty stepping down rather than the lifting up, but you no longer notice it. They made my arms tired when I used them on my wrists today, proving that they are effective. They are a little bit loose on the wrists and focus more on the forearm, but that is to be expected. Even though I am not particularly large, the 5 pounds each work nicely and I barely notice them throughout a 30-minute trek.I'll purchase an additional set for the wrists so I can finish the top and bottom. Observable outcomes, by the way.

Prodigen Adjustable Ankle Weights Set for Men & Women Ankle Wrist Weight for Walking, Jogging, Gymnastics Review:

These are the best ankle weights I've used after trying several others. During exercises requiring rapid movements, they remain rigid and do not move, and the neoprene offers the ideal amount of padding. Contrary to what some people have mentioned, I've had no trouble rapidly adding or removing the weights, and they even performed flawlessly when I allowed my 7-year-old child play hoops while wearing them. After being used for a good month, the stitching is still intact. Before discovering them, I purchased a different type from a major retailer, which I returned after only one use during a set of standing squat jumps caused half of the removable metal weights to rip through and blow out the bottom. Even though adding weight back on takes an extra 4 seconds, the weight punches are a far better design.

GYMENIST Pair of Ankle Weights Can Be Adjusted Up to 5.5 LB Each Set of 2 x Weight Wraps (Total 11-LB) Review:

These weights are almost flawless. Since they outperform the competition, I'll round their rating to 4.5 stars (which I have also tried).First of all, I appreciate having such fine-grained control over the weight. Since my dumbbells only go up in 5 pound increments, I utilize these when weightlifting to target smaller muscles like the shoulders. For instance, I'm lifting 18.85 pounds while performing a shoulder exercise (15 pound dumbbells plus these weights at 3.85 pounds). A change in weight of just 0.55 pounds (one of the bars in these) can have a big impact on some activities. The important thing to note about these weights is that, unlike the majority of wrist/ankle weights, which rely on sand bags for weight, the actual weight is given by metal bars. This makes these weights MUCH easier to adjust and MUCH more robust, which in my opinion justifies the increased price. These bars slide easily back into place, which is important if you alter the weight numerous times during a session, as opposed to a typical wrist/ankle weight, which can be difficult to do.Additionally, I discovered that these weights fit MUCH better, tighter, and smaller than the other weights I tried. It was challenging to achieve a constant thickness around my wrist with the other weights I tested since they were loose in some spots. These, however, comfortably encircle my wrist (I am an average size male, but the size is adjustable). You simply wrap it around and it fastens with a lengthy piece of velcro; there are no straps. These may be put on and taken off more quickly because to the absence of straps. These are also simple to neatly fold up for storage or transit. They took up very little room when I packed them up last night in my suitcase to bring to Thanksgiving.Although some reviews mention the metal ends protruding and scraping against the user's skin, this has been rectified in the more recent model (as you can see in the photo). The redesigned flap now completely encloses the bars and fastens with velcro as well.I gave it a 4.5 instead of a 5, because I have two minor complaints: 1. I was unable to remove any of the bars from one of the two parts when I initially opened the package. They were essentially trapped within; perhaps it had been in storage for too long. I shook the object vigorously for about five minutes before I was able to separate the components one at a time. I can simply insert and remove the components now.2. I find it a little odd that each weight is 0.55 pounds rather than a round 0.5 pounds. It's not a big deal, but I would have preferred 0.5. Perhaps they do it to increase the weight to 5.5 pounds per person rather than just 5, which might be preferable for other people. But it's really not a huge issue.Take these!

Ankle/Wrist Weights (1 Pair) for Women, Men and Kids - Fully Adjustable Weight for Arm, Hand & Leg - Best for Walking, Jogging, Gymnastics, Aerobics - 1 Year Warranty Review:

UPDATE: In light of Nordic Lifting's exceptional customer service in this case, I'd want to update this review. Within hours of the initial review, I got a really wonderful email. They expressed regret and asked for pictures so they could speak with their supplier about particular problems. They have sent me three emails in all as a result of this. They have informed me that they are sending a free replacement and are explicitly and immediately resolving this issue with their manufacturer. You did a great job with the customer service! Given that the product was flawed, I'm not giving them a higher rating of 5 stars (we'll see how the replacements perform), but I am awarding them 4 stars for their excellent customer service. With me, excellent customer service goes a long way!Initial Assessment: If I could, I would assign these a score of 0 stars. Almost quickly after putting them on, they disintegrated and filled the shoe with the tiny pellet weights. After trying these on, they literally came apart in a matter of minutes! I have never seen such poor construction on an Amazon product. I'm coming back right away. I wish they would quit selling this trash. This is the first time I've ever given a product I bought on Amazon a bad review. It's a little difficult to see, but the weights or pellets that came loose from the ankle weight are inside the shoe's heel. Dissatisfied is an understatement.

Empower Ankle & Wrist Weights for Women, Soft, Adjustable Weights, Adjustable Strap, Running, Walking, Exercise, Resistance Training Review:

A boot camp for fitness is something I own. I'm constantly looking for new tools to add to the arsenal, and I've been wanting to add leg weights for a while. For obvious reasons, I purchased an additional 7 pairs from Target after discovering that Target offers the exact same item online for less than $20 with free shipping whereas Amazon sells one pair for roughly $25 with shipping. The individuals I work with found these ankle/wrist weights to be a HUGE hit! With clients using these weights, I try to concentrate more on core exercises like opposing arm/leg lifts, leg raises, straight leg holds, and supermans. Even the fittest and most seasoned clients I work with found it difficult to strap these weights to their ankles and perform three sets of 30 second straight leg holds. I believe that including these weights into your regimen will enable you to reach your fitness objectives. Both the clients and I adore how easy and secure the Velcro attachment is. Even my clients have worn these while performing aerobic exercises like burpees, high knees, and mountain climbers. I can vouch for the attachment's extreme security.I will only give you product recommendations that I would personally use, and I heartily endorse this one!

BalanceFrom GoFit Fully Adjustable Ankle Wrist Arm Leg Weights, Adjustable Weights, Adjustable Strap Review:

My 9-year-old daughter just joined the competitive squad at her gym. For practice, they must have 1 lb ankle weights. I'm delighted I got these after reading a review from a different gymnast mom. I've been seeking for ankle weights like these from BalanceFrom. Since I got them out of the box, my kid has been almost jogging around in them. They are very evenly distributed throughout. So far, it appears that their quality (fabric, etc.) is excellent. They velcro around my daughter's ankle tightly enough so that it does not slip around even though she is relatively slender (around 54 pounds, size 12-1 shoe, so she has a little ankle). I'll update this review once she completes a few more 9-hour practice weeks, but as of right now, I don't think it will significantly affect the ranking or my viewpoint.Because these are not actually pink, the color is the only thing I would fault this product for. I don't care that they are red because my daughter adores the color red! I would without a doubt suggest these weights to anyone searching for ones for use in gymnastics and workout. Given that I'm now trying to lose weight, I'll definitely buy a pair that is heavier for myself. I can't wait to include these. Many thanks to BalanceFrom! fantastic stuff

REEHUT Durable Ankle/Wrist Weights (1 Pair) with Adjustable Strap for Fitness, Exercise, Walking, Jogging, Gymnastics, Aerobics, Gym (2lbs 3lbs 4lbs 6lbs 8lbs 10lbs) Review:

I'm writing this review for my mom because her physicians have advised her to exercise and maintain balance because she has cartilage issues in both of her knees. In comparison to you, I want this review to be useful to you.My mother can only lift 1 pound of weight per leg, therefore any additional weight or strength will immediately feel like it is being transferred to her ankle or arm, depending on where she places it. She found it challenging to wear them at first (I'll discuss that in more detail), even though she understood the added pressure would support her body. She wears them frequently and doesn't move very much to give herself the strength she needs. The velcro strips make the weights feel incredibly solid when worn on your ankles or wrists. The idea that the weights won't flip around is quite advantageous. They do not move after the weight set is fastened. Despite the fact that you might perspire a little where the weight set was attached. These weights are excellent for therapeutic use (doctor advised), for giving your body the tone it needs, and for giving you strength when you need it. These are without a doubt recommended, however before you contemplate purchasing, make sure the weight and poundage are appropriate for you. For myself, I bought a set of 4 pound weights. For a little more thorough summary, read their review (under my name).

Sportneer Ankle Weights, Adjustable Weights Wrist Weight Straps for Fitness, Walking, Jogging, Workout | 0.5-3.5 lbs Per Ankle, 2 Pack 1-7 lbs Review:

I removed the individual sand bags from my initial ankle weights and found some loose threads. I got in touch with Sportneer and showed them the frayed threads because I was concerned that they would cause the bags to disintegrate.Sportneer has taken extraordinary measures to address the issue! I appreciate it, Sportneer! The replacement set of ankle weights arrived to me. They were in perfect shape when I gave them a closer look.Someone asked me what I was going to do with two sets of cards when I was at my neighborhood eatery this afternoon. I explained to them that throughout the previous two years, I had to use a can of peas to treat the tiny tendons in my partially split collarbone. I would need to work on it constantly for the rest of my life, the physical therapist warned me, or the tendons could weaken to the point where surgery might be necessary to restore it.I shall therefore utilize the old set, which I have set to 1.2 pounds, for my collarbone. I suspect that if I gradually add more weight, the muscles in the surrounding area will grow and strengthen their defenses. My physical therapists have noted that I've been utilizing the weights well in the interim because of how quickly my strength and range of motion have returned.I would STRONGLY advise anyone who is rehabbing or simply wants a little resistance in their exercise to get these ankle weights. On each leg, these ankle weights may be adjusted from 610-of-a-pound to 3.6 pounds. Both a low and high weight should be used, depending on the level of exercise. Also, know that Sportneer will take all necessary steps to resolve any issues you may have with any product you purchase from them.Regardless of the course that may take!

CAP Barbell HHA-CB020A1 Pair of 20-Pounds Adjustable Ankle Weights Review:

For four distinct leg lift exercises, I required a pair of 10-pound dumbbells at the very least. Additionally, I was hoping to avoid ankle bruising or achilles blistering while walking for at least 5 minutes on my magnetic resistance treadmill with the slope set at 24 percent. I have no trouble using these ankle weights (AWs) to complete all of my leg lift exercises, and I have successfully walked for 10 minutes as previously said. I'm sure I could walk on the aforementioned gadget for at least 20 minutes in the future. I definitely recommend these for use with an electrically powered stair climbing machine because they also work excellent for climbing the stairs in my house.I finally want to wear them every time I go shopping. Nobody will notice if a pair of baggy sweatpants are put over them.I was pleased to discover how nicely built and manufactured they are, especially given the negative reviews this product received. Maybe after hearing the comments, the manufacturer changed a few things since those earlier evaluations. They are made of five detachable bags of fine steel shot, each enclosed in a strong canvas casing. On my digital bathroom scale, I calculated the pair's combined weight as 20.00 lbs. The only other adjustments that would be required are to increase the straps' length by an additional 4-6" and perhaps switch the tensioning rings' material from nylon to steel.A pair of the extremely comparable JBM AWs with the same nominal weight were previously ordered by me. In addition to fitting more snugly than the JBM AWs, these CAP AWs are also less bulky. The JBM AWs, as you may have seen, are constructed with 4 (as opposed to 5) slightly thicker bags, giving them a wrapping length of 19" from the ring to the end of the farthest weight cell. The CAP AWs, in contrast, feature five thinner bags, resulting in a 17" wrapping length. The 5-cell structure of the CAP offers a significantly more comfortable wrap. It doesn't put as much pressure on the medial and lateral bulges of my ankles as the four larger JBM AW cells do.OVERALL TIPWear the AWs so that they connect at the back of the leg rather than the front. In this fashion, a tiny opening (between the joining opposite ends) offers a tiny bit of relaxation at the back. Otherwise, the achilles will experience pressure from the intermediate cell.ADVICE FOR WALKERS1. Put on high top, padded achilles sneakers.2. Put on two sets of Mueller volleyball knee pads in size XS to further prevent scorching of the achilles. But you shouldn't use them on your knees. Put one upper pad in front of the shin and one lower pad cushioning the achilles on each lower leg.
