Gale Pacific, USA 302245 6X15 90% Uv Wheat Shade, (6' x 15') Review:

To prevent the setting sun from beating down on my windows, I draped Coolaroo Shade Fabric around the back of my pergola using Coolaroo Timber Fasteners. It is effective! But because I only got a single 15-foot roll of shade fabric for my 18-foot-wide pergola, there is a 3-foot gap on one side (as can be seen in the attached photos). I used a dog leash to secure the shade fabric's bottom loose corner to a wood post. I fastened the dog leash end to the wood post and hammered a nail into it so it wouldn't move up or down. I then slid the dog leash clasp between the weave of the shade cloth. Despite some windy days when there was a lot of tension on it, the shade fabric hasn't split where the clasp is puncturing it. A grommet should have been placed, but I didn't have one.In my second project, I attempted to block the view into my home through my security screen door by using black Coolaroo Medium Shade Fabric and Scotch Permanent Outdoor Mounting Tape. View the shade material that is affixed to the inside of my security screen door in the attached photographs. The first image depicts the exterior as seen from within. Standing in front of the screen door in the second picture, you can see the scene from the outside. The final image displays the view from the outside, taken from a position that still allows you to see my sliding glass patio door that opens to the rear. If I add another layer of shade cloth to the security screen door, I believe I might be able to block the view of the sliding glass patio door. I had to remove the tape and add 2 mm black nylon cable twist ties because the tape could not keep the fabric attached to the screen door for more than a few days. I snipped off the ends of the cable ties after twisting and sliding them through the cloth and metal screen.

PHI VILLA Outdoor Patio Sun Shade Roller Shade 4ft(W) by 6ft(H) Coffee Review:

Overall, I believe the shade is functional, but as you can see from the photographs, two of the plastic trim pieces broke. Thankfully, the damaged items are only aesthetic and hidden. In just over an hour, my husband and I were able to complete the installation. The comfort from the afternoon sun's harsh rays that the shade will bring to our patio will be much-needed. Where is my wine, please?

Coolaroo Exterior Roller Shade, Cordless Roller Shade with 80% UV Protection, No Valance, (4' W X 6' L), Almond Review:

Just keep in mind that this Coolaroo has a lower UV blockage percentage than their 90–95% variant. This one can be easily seen through from the outside at night and lets in enough light during the day to cast shadows. If privacy is a concern (hot tubs, for example), or if you want dark shading in hotter areas of the house, you don't want this one.For our purposes, it's ideal because it's on the NE corner, where cooling shadow won't be an issue and you can really enjoy some early sunlight without the glare and exposure. Another benefit, I believe, is that the 80% allows a light see-through capability throughout the day.But if privacy is a concern or the location requires a darker shade, spend the extra money for the 90–95% cover.Everything else, however, is five stars: the packing and delivery, the instructions, the ease of installation (be extremely cautious to attach the mounts at the exact distances stated in the instructions), the mechanics, the appearance, the quality and build, and the ease of use. Durability is the only thing I don't know, although I'veEarlier Coolaroos may easily be 10 years old, and this one seems to be no different. This one has had no complaints so far. If there are, I'll be back.

BOUYA Black Privacy Fence Screen 4' x 25' Heavy Duty for Chain-Link Fence Privacy Screen Commercial Outdoor Shade Windscreen Mesh Fabric with Brass Gromment 160 GSM 88% Blockage UV -3 Years Warranty Review:

To hang on the chain link fence of my neighbor, we bought this screen. In front of the fence on their side are shrubs. The birds often scatter seeds, which causes a variety of various plants, but mainly weeds, to start growing. On their side, the growth usually vanishes into the shrubs, while on my, it encroaches on the fence. After a hot, rainy summer, I hurriedly ordered this, used weed killer to remove the growth, and waited till Saturday morning when cooler, dry weather was predicted. My husband and I removed the remaining weeds and fastened this to the fence that morning as soon as the sun came up. It has done a decent job thus far of preventing any new growth from pushing through. It was not nearly 50', which is my only complaint, so we will need to get another, smaller roll to complete the space. We will have to overlap the new piece to cover the end, which is also not straight. I'm okay with that! Let's hope it continues for a while.

e.share 40% Black Shade Cloth Taped Edge with Grommets 10 ft X 12ft Review:

After barely a few weeks of use, the grommets at the anchor points are ripping out. It might fare better if you have a location where you can weave a rope through it and suspend it completely, but otherwise it is very delicate. The fabric feels flimsy and tears readily. One grommet was fully missing, which I noticed to be a manufacturing flaw. It's a cheap product all around. It's somewhat close to the size I needed, but I think a custom-cut piece of cloth from a reputable supplier would be of greater quality and cost several hundred dollars more. This item is inexpensive enough to be thrown away after a few years. Although it isn't perfect, it provides shade and prevents my plants from being too hot. Since then, I have increased the number of anchor points and added more support ropes.I have double shade cloth covering my greenhouse, so it can even be cooler inside than outside.I'm raising the rating from 3 to 5 stars. Although it's not very sturdy or good quality, if you put it over a hoop house rather than suspended like I do, it should last for a while.Put three grommets on each corner to strengthen them. It will end the ripping.

e.share 70% Green Shade Cloth Taped Edge with Grommets 20 ft X 10 ft Review:

Purchased two of them to provide shade in two of my horse stalls that receive the brunt of the hot early sun. They swiftly went up and look fantastic. They have remained up there for approximately two weeks, through a couple windy thunderstorms and the horses' pressure. Since I know they will want to pull them off, we left the bottoms unattached to give them the option of sticking their heads out if they so choose. So far, so good! They really do make the stalls much cooler! While staring out of the stall, you can see okay even though they are difficult to see through from a distance. These were not as high-quality as the more costly sun cover I bought at the same time for use in the barn, but I was expecting that since the price was less than half as much! They were of high quality, but I doubt I'll get as much use out of them with time. I won't mind if they become torn up and I have to replace them every summer, though, because of the cost!

DearHouse Balcony Privacy Screen Cover, 3.5ft x16.5ft Fence Windscreen for Porch Deck, Outdoor, Backyard, Patio, Balcony to Cover Sun Shade, UV-Proof, Weather-Resistant, Includes 35 pc Cable Ties Review:

For nosy neighbours, our privacy screen has been the ideal solution. Additionally, from the outside, the balcony seems neater and cleaner as a result. The material is excellent; although being thicker and tougher than a plain mesh, it is not at all heavy. Even though the bars on my balcony are quite thick, installing them was simple since I used two of the available zip ties to secure each hoop rather than just one. It took only five minutes to set everything up and was incredibly simple to install. Since I put it up, it has only rained once, but it appeared to stop some of the water from entering, which is another benefit for me.

smartelf Shade Cloth 70% Sunblock Shade Cloth Net 6.5 ft x 6.5 ft - Black Bulk UV Resistant Fabric Mesh for Greenhouse Shade Cloth Taped Edge with Gromments Included 8pcs 6" Ball Bungee Review:

We were concerned when it arrived that it wouldn't be able to withstand the wind and weather. We thought we'd test it out and see what happens. happily surprised We wanted to shade our patio, but it doesn't completely block the sun's rays; we can still see through it. The day after we put it up, there was a very windy rainy storm (places under the patio that generally don't get rain were extremely wet), but the Shade Cloth held up with no issues. We have some fairly significant wind here, and I was scared it wouldn't be able to handle it.

NKTM 50%-60% Sunblock Shade Cloth, Cut Edge UV Resistant Shade for Plant Cover, Greenhouse, Barn or Kennel Review:

Although I can't yet comment on this sunshade's durability because I only recently purchased it, I still wanted to leave a review for other succulent lovers! I purchased this to protect my succulents from the harshest sun, and I believe it has done an excellent job of doing so. Although the heat and sun intensity have caused my succulents to exhibit some stress colors (which some people do on purpose because the colors are wonderful! ), none of them, not even the puppies and leaf babes, have any indications of burns. I'm thrilled about the money and the prospect of seeing them outside, giggling and casting off babies and flowers. I tried this one because I couldn't find any sunshades specifically for succulents, and I'm glad I did! As a point of comparison, I live in northeast Pennsylvania and they receive approximately 8 to 10 hours of bright sun.
