I adored the way these fixtures looked. So, taking a gamble, two were ordered for the home's front door. I must admit that I now like them much more. They are incredibly straightforward in a positive way and, thanks to the transparent glass, emit a lot of light. In order to give them a bit more flair, I ordered some 60 watt Edison bulbs. As some reviewers have noted, the silicone in the corners is fairly noticeable. It's on the inside and, in my opinion, isn't really a distinctive characteristic or a major problem. These Globe Electric fixtures are just as high-quality as any other big-box retail lighting. If seeing some silicone really worries you that much, I would advise against purchasing the $50 light fittings. I've previously spent a lot of money on outdoor fixtures only to be dismayed by how soon they wore out. I'm not too concerned if they don't last forever because they only cost $50 each. I recently acquired two more for the side of the home because I would unquestionably recommend these and purchase them again.

adorable little lamp To match the other hardware in my garden, I purchased the black version and painted it blue. I used Satin Sapphire Rust-Oleum 276270 Stop Rust Protective Enamel Spray Paint. It contrasts well with the wall of yellow stucco. When the paint is sufficiently dry to hang the lamp, I'll include another picture.Glass, not plastic, makes up the transparent parts. Due to the screws holding the corners on, they were simple to remove. But resist the urge to suspend the lamp without the glass. I believe it is essential for stability. If you remove the glass, take care not to hurt yourself because the edges are not completed. Metal on the back reflector is really thin.A picture of the painted lamp in its actual setting has been provided. Take note that I painted the low-energy lamp's white porcelain base. It was like a sore thumb in the crowd.

Although our barn has power, I wanted Solar Powered SpotLights for it. I hoped they would work after finding these on Amazon. They have been here for almost two weeks. They are intelligent. Bright enough to illuminate a 40x40 space for a maximum of two minutes. I've included 3 pictures. First is roughly 10' away. The second is around 25 feet away from the lit area, and the last is about 100 feet away. doing its function. I just want it to function for a bit. Clear indications on which side of the switch is on versus motion would be the only thing I'd want to see (BTW: Single line is motion).

To place over the back entry door, I bought this light. Even though the detached garage has a motion light on it, it is still dark when I leave for work, so I needed something for when I'm standing there shutting my door. Whenever I read reviews, I typically start with the sections that are problematic. Where there really is no "bad" with these lights (they are extremely bright and do exactly what they are intended to do: come on at night, go off during the day, and light up the place very well), the "bad," if you could call it that, was the knockouts in the back. I guess I like the "bad" news before the "good."These lights are expertly constructed. In other words, they are powerful. They are unquestionably constructed to survive the weather. I search for items like these. They feel high quality, thus it makes sense that the knockouts are, well, tough to knock out. You have to beat them rather hard to get the access holes for the wires open because the backs of these are substantial and may be made of a cast material. A hammer and a screwdriver were the most widely used instruments when I looked up some videos to see how to do this.They have been operating without a hitch for a while now. With my buy, I'm quite happy. Additionally, keep in mind that because these are mass produced, there will inevitably be issues if you give the item a negative review because it didn't work properly. Speak with the vendor to obtain a replacement. No need to ever act unpleasant about it.

They merit a better rating, so I'm changing it! For one evening, I experienced a brief problem with the light not turning on. My best guess is that the ambient light was bent by the excessive humidity. Now that the light is operational, I do think it was merely a problem. My worry was that perhaps my light had a flaw that would reappear. The company responded to my inquiry by delivering a new item. The email exchange was individualized rather than being a standard form letter. It was written by a real person who took care of my problems. That, in my opinion, merits note! I adore the light in and of itself. The three lenses enable me to direct light to my flower beds, where I need it. The installation required only 8 screws in total. Please be aware that solar lights of this brightness are not intended to operate continuously throughout the night. The only device I could locate with a "always on" option that allowed for an hour of light was this one. I'll be able to work in the garden after dark using that. The light turns back on promptly with even the slightest movement after the longest motion detection setting of 2 minutes has passed, which is perfect for taking the dog outside. It works perfectly when I have the sensitivity on maximum. I was able to put the solar panel where it receives the most sunlight and conceal the wiring inside and along the siding of the garage.
