I chose to investigate what options they offered for audio for my daughter's room after being pleasantly delighted at how well my initial audio purchase for my office desk worked. Packaging has improved and is now done much more professionally with cut out foam instead of clumsy styrofoam. It was fine before. This actually is wood. It was executed flawlessly and beautifully. The craftsmanship is astounding and flawless. The sound is quite loud. sound that is clean, dynamic, and distortion-free. Yes, it is noisy. sufficient volume for a living room. Even though there are many contemporary ways to play music, it's always excellent if you have a CD collection.At this pricing point, you would not anticipate the degree of quality and attention to detail that is present. The wiring for the removable speakers are thick gauge nonoxidized wire, not thin wire. Major name brand equipment doesn't have that; it only has complete rubbish. The box is quite compact, and you have more than 5 feet of cable to move and position the speakers. Since my wife and I feel it's just too good for a 7-year-old girl's room who will probably wreck it, I have no complaints, but it's not in my daughter's room yet. So I suppose it's time to buy her KEiiD again.In the event that you have any issues, the card and instructions in the box will help you fix it.

So far, the LG CM4590 has left a really positive impact on me. Excellent sound, good capability, and good design. I installed this device in a sizable garage and will almost entirely use it to play MP3 files downloaded to a USB flash drive. I have about 1,000 CDs and over 10,000 mp3 tracks. I mounted the 64GB USB flash drive in my Toyota, which reads all 10,000 songs without any issues, and put these music on it. The flash drive is about the size of a person's thumbnail. However, the LG CM4590 can only read 2,000 songs from a single USB flash drive. I have no idea why this limitation is in place. This limitation required me to purchase five 16GB USB flash drives and spread the 10,000 songs over them. Each flash drive can accommodate roughly 133 hours of listening. The device needed to have a resume play memory, which was my second criteria. When I turn the unit off at the end of the day while listening to song #1533, I want it to remember where it was when I switch it back on the following day. There is a resume play memory on the LG CM4590. (I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would still listen to CDs. They have been replaced by cassette cassettes and eight-track recordings. I can store 200 CDs' worth of music on a USB flash drive the size of a thumbnail using the LG CM4590.)

I was overcome with sadness when I discovered that my cherished Sony shelf stereo system was about to fail. It has been my companion since since I acquired my first iPhone (3S), and it even has a unique docking socket exclusively for that similarly dated gadget.Finding a substitute is not too difficult because Amazon has evolved into the shopping megalith that it is now since that time. Picking only one, not so much. I chose this model in the end.The Bluetooth pairing works quite well, or at least it did once I got through a minor senior moment with the pairing. I am slightly unhappy that I can't utilize the USB connector to play my iPhone through the system (and thus have a bit more capability).As you can see in the photo, the Bluetooth revived my trusty old 3S, which now simply serves as a music player. As a result, I no longer had to say goodbye to that old friend, who now neatly sits next to my stereo and charges while it is in use.some ideas for performance- In my bedroom, I use this stereo. It is used as a sleep timer or a morning wake-up alarm while listening to music (the clock timer). As a result, several of the other customer reviews regarding the sound quality aren't strictly accurate.Then again! The audio is crisp and rich, in my opinion. In fact, the radio's audio quality surpasses that of the iPhone.- Speaking of radio, I've always had trouble getting reception at home (attached on two sides). The new system provides clearer and more vibrant music than the previous stereo, but using the same stupid wire "antenna." Nice!- I do wish my phone had more functionality, such as the ability to flip between playlists, but I am still happy to maintain my mammoths-ruled-the-earth 3S technology.This stereo is smaller than my previous one in terms of size, which will make cleaning the dresser easier. We get a lot of dust in my location, however I realize that's probably not a characteristic listed by Sony.Overall, I'm quite happy with the Sony system. It's a terrific replacement for my old system, although I wish it had a few extra bells for iPhone users.

Despite the fact that devices like these have been around for a while, a technological update has added features that improve appeal and playability! What initially grabbed me to this was the 5-disc player by itself! I listen to books on CD, and five discs will last me for a long time. An MP3 can occasionally last 10–12 hours! What's not to like, then?I put this on a tall dresser in my bedroom and nailed the FM/AM antenna that was "provided" to the wall. Nearly all FM and roughly 80% of AM have A-OK reception.A built-in radio is a huge bonus for me because I listen to the radio for hours every day, although I have seen several systems without one!Last but not least, the presets are in chronological sequence, so as I move through the stations, I switch from FM to AM! There are no specific buttons for preset stations. Even station searches, one after the other, doesn't annoy me. Of course, this could just be me because I'm not particularly sensitive to some things. It only requires a few toe taps and a few seconds!

I've been looking for a little stereo shelf system for my garage for a while now to replace the outdated one from the 1990s. Everything I could discover looked absurd; it appeared that manufacturers (I'm referring to all brands, but primarily Sony) spent more time and resources attempting to make products appear futuristic and "cool" than they did on sound quality. I simply wanted a small stereo that sounded well, looked like they did in the past, and wasn't straight out of a corny science fiction film. I happened to find this one from Sharp, and it appeared to have some positive ratings, so I got it. The wife (not so secretly) wanted to keep it there, so I put it up in the kitchen to hear it when it arrived, so overall, I'm delighted with how things turned out.I therefore placed a second order for my garage. I was pleased to discover that for a little audio system, it actually sounds extremely well. The bass and treble may be adjusted independently, which is much nicer than the standard 4 or 5 EQ settings that frequently appear on these devices.It is a little bit bigger than I anticipated, but that's not a bad thing at all. After seeing all of the tiny modern ones, it was good to see something that seemed like it might truly produce some sound.It seems to only pick up the strongest stations in order to reduce static, but I wish it would give me the weaker ones as well. While I am extremely happy with my purchase, if there is one drawback, I would say that it is: Those stations that are weak but still come in, just kind of quietly, it does not pick them up at all.One more thing: It truly includes AM and FM radio stations. Since when did all the manufacturers decide that AM is no longer desired? It can be enjoyable at times to watch baseball games in the garage.Anyone searching for a good tiny stereo that doesn't try to conceal a subpar sounding piece of crap behind a showy package should definitely check out this stereo, in my opinion.

Although I don't often write reviews, this might be useful to someone. I study at the graduate level and enjoy music. Being a more classically educated musician who plays in the world's longest continuously touring ensemble, I tend to have a critical ear, and my father has always had a very nice and expensive integrated audio system. This review is not exclusive to any one style of music because I enjoy listening to practically all types of music (sorry).I don't have a lot of money to spend on stereo equipment because I'm a student. Recently, many of my hand-me-down electronic devices have reached the end of their useful lives; for example, my TV and stereo both perished within a few weeks of one another. After playing video games or just viewing an episode of something for 30 minutes, the new TV I bought started emitting a high-pitched tone that gave me a headache. I got this device to avoid listening to the tiny TV tweeters. For the price and size of it, this gadget performs the task really effectively. I don't experience any pain while I play video games or watch TV, and I can crank up the volume and hear it loud enough to hear while moving about the house. It is little, so it doesn't take up a lot of space in my tiny apartment.You shouldn't be looking at small units like these in the first place if you're seeking for anything to blow your mind while playing Shostakovich, Eric Church, or anything else really. I can see this being ideal for businesses, smaller spaces, bedrooms, college dorms, and other places where you simply need a little music without being excessive.If anyone is interested, I was unable to discover much specifications on this item. There are no additional power wires, only two line-in connectors for the left and right speakers. There is a second stereo line in where you may connect your iPod, television, or other device to play music (looks like a normal headphone jack). The speaker cables are only around 29 inches long when stretched out, so if you want to space them apart farther, you'll need to purchase more audio lines. There has an alarm setting, which I thought was great, a standard CD player, a display dimming feature, and an AM/FM tuner. The power cord's AC end contains two prongs (just in case you live in certain dormitories).It is worth the $40 to get this decent device because the sound quality isn't horrible. I believe it would be useful for small or in-class use. Some people appear to be quick to judge little units because they do not ratchet the rafters, perhaps not this one specifically but others.Hope this was useful to someone!

This is a fantastic offer for $42. This stereo is not of excellent quality. It is a typical unit, and in that regard, it performs excellently.Once you become familiar with its features, the remote is simple to use. The radio is functional. A cord for auxiliary devices is included. I keep the radio's cord attached. I simply plug in my iPhone, choose Auxiliary, and start playing when I want to connect it. It can also play CDs. Although I haven't utilized it, the unit's face impressively glides up via remote control when you want to insert a disc.There have been complaints about the speakers' lack of tweeters (little speakers). It's true, but wearing them would be wasteful. Either the price would increase or the tweeters would be ineffective. It has typical mid-range speakers for speakers.Additionally, I read concerns about the speakers' poor audio. That's also true, but only to the extent that the radio can overdrive the speakers if the volume is turned all the way up. That is the way it must be. You want your speaker's capacity to be fully utilized by your radio. The radio must be louder than the speakers in order to accomplish that. What can be done to fix the grating speakers? Silly you, down the volume. As I work, eat lunch, wash my clothes, etc., I can hear it from a few rooms away when it is at its loudest (with respectable sound).This isn't for you if you're looking for crystal-clear audio, thunderous bass, or exceptionally loud audio.This is the radio for you if you want FM radio, a CD player, an easy way to play your smart phone or iPhone music, a reasonably simple remote, and average sound quality with respectable volume for basic shelf radios and bedroom radios.This unit is great. I wouldn't purchase a brand-new one if I wanted to upgrade. Simply said, I would invest on a pair of speakers that perform better. This device would likely meet the standards of devices costing $150 or more if speakers cost $30 each.
