Most DVD cases are the same size, but there are some that are different. For example, Blu-ray cases are a different size than standard DVD cases.
No, DVD and Blu-ray cases are not the same size. DVD cases are generally smaller than Blu-ray cases, although there are some exceptions. Blu-ray cases are typically about 1/4 inch taller and 1/2 inch wider than DVD cases.
Old DVD cases may not be worth much to collectors, but they can be recycled and used for other purposes. If you have a lot of old DVDs, you can use the cases to make a coffee table or end table. You can also use them to make a DVD storage unit. If you don't want to keep the DVD cases, you can recycle them.
Yes. There are blank DVDs that are larger than 4.7 GB. In fact, there are blank DVDs that are up to 8.5 GB in size. This means that you can store more data on a single DVD than you could with a 4.7 GB DVD.

This was a Christmas present I got for my daughter. I'm sick and tired of empty dvd cases and scuffed up dvds, plus she was receiving a new portable dvd player. With this, she won't have to ask me to assist her look for all of her children's DVDs because she will always know where they are.The exterior of the case is a firm, textured fabric in a lovely shade of blue. Without a doubt, I'll keep everything inside secure. Having used Case logic products since I was a teenager, I am confident in their reliability. I still have my old CD collection stashed away in a huge binder. Soft black material makes up the interior sleeves, which have clear outsides so you can read the title. Outside zippers kept everything contained. She can watch a wide variety of options because to its small size, ease of packing it into a backpack, and convenience. When looking for a dvd case, I'm delighted I decided on this one.

I purchased both of these and similar-style Evelots brand VHS cases, so I'll contrast the two brands' build quality. Compared to the Fasmov bags, which have a more plasticky fabric top and bottom, the Evelots bags have a more fabricky black material on top and bottom. The Evelots brand appears to have slightly thicker clear plastic sides, and the handle material is also slightly thicker. I actually prefer the Fasmov brand's zipper over the Evelots brand's since it actually catches more and glides less smoothly. On both brands, the handles are attached by sewing them into the bottom hem and to the reinforced plastic side at the top in the same manner. Since I don't have any immediate plans to transport my DVD collection outside of the house and thought long handles would be troublesome for storage, I was relieved to find that the handles on these were much shorter than I had anticipated from an image that showed someone carrying them over their shoulder. Since there is barely any quality difference between the two, I would not pay more for the Evelots brand. Both appear equally likely to endure and as vulnerable to tearing if improperly held by a single handle. Since mine are stored in a dark closet, I can only speculate as to what might happen to the plastic if it were exposed to direct sunshine.According to certain assessments, their packaged seasons don't fit. We have a number of seasons that are wrapped in boxes and they all fit well. Of course, this can result in fewer DVDs fitting in the bag. If you have a whole boxed series, it might not fit in the box.

These carriers from Case Logic are simply outstanding. My husband has an old one in the rear of his car that is at least 15 years old and is still performing its job of safeguarding his music CDs, so I went to this firm since I was seeking for something protective. His CDs have never been scratched by the holders because they are made of the exact same material as the old one. We intend to travel cross-country for several months in an Airstream. I wanted to carry a sizable portion of our DVDs for late-night viewing because streaming and cable seem risky. TV series used to be sold in outrageously large boxes with an insane number of CDs, at least in part to give the purchaser the impression that he was getting a good deal. I was able to fit Boston Blackie and Sherlock Holmes within while also fitting all the disks from the classic British television series UFO, The Avengers, and All Creatures Great and Small. In contrast to other holders I've read about, this one allows you to fill it all the way up to the last page of holders without having to leave any empty spaces. In addition, the grasp is simple despite the weight when full. It doesn't have a strap, but it doesn't really need one since it has a sturdy fabric hook hanger on top. When I was finished, I was so pleased that I bought two more.Only one issue: I wish they were available in a few more colors. When I visited the Case Logic website, I discovered that this was not just sold on Amazon and was only offered in blue. Since there is no label, it would be fantastic to be able to color-code the collection so that I can distinguish between TV and vintage movies while I'm pulling items out of drawers under the bed or the back of my SUV. Now I'll either have to open them to see which one it is or tag them in some way.

I'm one of those slightly insane planners you've heard of. My sock drawers are organized, spotless, and color coded. Therefore, I knew I had to have this CD/DVD wallet when I saw an opportunity to get rid of our disorganized shelves overflowing with DVDs. Our ever-expanding collection of DVDs couldn't fit neatly on a book shelf, so they were constantly a mess. However, I was worried about how to store the DVD covers' cover information in the little pockets of this wallet. I enjoy preserving the information on the back of each DVD and enjoying the cover image. Well, I came up with a solution with a little ingenuity. Each DVD's paper cover was cut to size (with a paper cutter) and put in the pocket next to the disc. I could technically fit more DVDs in the wallet if I put the cover and disc in the same pocket, but I prefer it this way. individual preference I can only fit 64 DVDs into the wallet the way I do it, but I don't mind. The DVD and trimmed cover can still fit in the same pocket to fit 128 in the wallet.Because I can categorize by genre and because the pricing is so affordable, I have already purchased five of these wallets. Additionally, our bookshelf doesn't take up much space with these wallets. The amount of space taken up by all the DVDs in plastic jackets and five wallets is negligible. If I could change one thing about this wallet, I would add a little clear plastic slot to the spine so I could mark what was inside each individual wallet. Perhaps it's just my superorganizing abilities at work, but I feel like that might be beneficial to others. You can see in the picture how I inserted the discs and informational cover images into the pockets. Don't judge my DVDs, please. I just randomly selected a page from the wallet to take a picture of. LOL)

I've recently been decluttering all of my possessions. I've been trying to find a way to reduce my large collection of movies. The reason I didn't like organizing them in binders was because if I bought a new movie, it might not be alphabetized correctly. My universe came together when I figured out that I could buy sleeves and put them in a package. To get rid of all the DVD packaging, I bought these sleeves and sets of snap-together boxes. Even though I'm still not finished, it's wonderful to have more room for the other things we have going on in our lives. Amazing offer!

The main distinction between CD/DVD wallets/cases is whether or not the pages are removable. I find it difficult to envisage situations in which you wouldn't want to be able to occasionally repair torn pages. The method used by Case Logic (and I believe all the others with changeable pages) comprises two tabs and wide "rings" to secure the sheets. Although replacing pages is difficult, I've used these for many years and, to be honest, I can't think of a better way to go about it. Pages stuffed to the utmost capacity with 8 DVDs would just break out of a traditional 3 ring binder. The kind of bands this employs ought to be used.Making the sheets non-replaceable will enable you to produce and sell these binders for less money. But before you spend less money up front on binders with nonreplaceable sheets, like the Amazon Basics binder, you should give it some serious thought.

I bought these for my church. We still create sermon CD copies, so we needed a more economical way to package them. These are excellent fits. Be careful because "Economy Grade" truly means "economy." These are really thin and won't withstand repeated use or severe handling. We don't have a problem with this, but if you're storing something extremely valuable inside, they don't inspire trust.

This dvd holder has not caused me any problems. I had no trouble putting all of my DVDs in the binder. The dvds appear to be held snugly in the holder and don't fly out when the pages are turned. It is loaded to capacity, maybe just shy of 50, and the zipper seems to work perfectly. This is a big maybe. Since I relocated my DVDs to this binder, it has helped me get rid of a ton of clutter. I've never carried this binder to my destination; I've never lifted it up by the handle. It has served me well, and I would buy it again if I ever needed another binder of this size.
Yes, you can put DVD cases in your recycling bin. Most DVD cases are made from polypropylene plastic, which is a recyclable material.
Yes, you can put empty DVD cases in the recycle bin.
A DVD has a shelf life of about 10-20 years. After that, it will start to degrade and eventually become unreadable.
If you have a DVD without a case, you can store it in a CD sleeve or a DVD envelope. You can also put it in a regular jewel case, but make sure to put a piece of tape over the opening so the DVD doesn't fall out.
There are a few things you can do to store your DVDs long-term. One is to keep them in a cool, dry place. This will help to prevent them from warping or becoming damaged. Another is to keep them in a case or sleeve that is designed for storing DVDs. This will help to protect them from scratches and other damage. Finally, you can label each DVD with the title and the date you purchased it. This will help you to keep track of your collection and know which ones you need to replace over time.
When it comes to storing DVDs, there are two schools of thought: vertical or horizontal. Which is the best way to store DVDs? The answer may come down to personal preference, but there are some pros and cons to each method. Storing DVDs vertically can save space, especially if you have a lot of DVDs. It also makes it easier to find the movie you want to watch, since they’re all in one place. On the other hand, storing DVDs horizontally can help prevent them from getting scratched or damaged. It also keeps them from getting
