A set of serrated steak knives was given to me. After a few months, they were fine but eventually became uninteresting. Yes, I did put them in the dishwasher. Yes, it was a stupid move, but I've changed my ways. I made great effort to get the serrated blades razor sharp. I even got two specialized serrated knife rounded files to sharpen in the grooves, along with two sharpeners that are designed to sharpen them. After all that, the improvements I made were merely marginal. I mostly tore or slowly sawed through my meat instead of cutting it like I would a piece of wood.The sharpness of these new blades is astounding! Like warm butter, steak slices easily! Fine German steel is cost-effectively made in China, producing blades that are genuinely affordable. And the best part is that non-serrated blades are simple to resharpen. These shouldn't be put in the dishwasher! The sharp edge will last considerably longer if you hand wash them even though they ARE dishwasher safe. A knife or two need to be washed by hand for one minute. Nothing major.

These knives, in my opinion, are amazing. They have a great design, are reasonably priced, and come with a really stylish case to keep them in. Though I doubt I'll ever use it. But I didn't want to throw it away because it was so attractive. So I placed it above my cabinets, where it will undoubtedly remain for a very long time and gather a lot of dust. Because I am certain that I will never utilize it. However, it's still amazing.Regarding the actual knives. They function exactly as steak knives should. They have beautiful cuts, feel good in your hands, and are attractive.All around, five stars!

I got these since my steak knives had finally started to fall apart and weren't very attractive. I assumed I'd start by replacing my steak knives since I've always wanted a set of J.A. Henkles knives. These have a really attractive design, are lightweight (which is essential for my disabled spouse), and are SHARP! I never cut myself with knives, but the first time I used these, chopping steak, I took a big slice off of my finger. I'll eventually learn to cut my husband's steak using a fork rather than holding it between my fingers. I also use them as paring knives because they are sharper than the ones I own. All I can say is that I'm content. unlike any other knives I've ever had, it easily cuts into meat. Just be cautious since they are SO sharp!

I'm very happy I bought these steak knives. I eventually made the decision to get some new steak knives after realizing that my extremely old and cheap ones were coming apart. I looked around and tried to find something that was made of stainless steel and wouldn't break like the handles I currently have. The Homegeek knives caught my attention, and I'm very glad they did. These Eversharp Pro Stainless Steel Knives from J.A. Henckels International are of the highest caliber! These are new to me, but they've already impressed me. I've been attempting to replace my 30 year old, reliable, Japanese-forged Chicago Cutlery solderers since they have recently started to pit and rust badly. After 30 years of misuse and harsh use, not awful... Sadly, Chicago However, these new J. A. Henckels are excellent if not superior replacements (stamped made in Taiwan - not China!). These knives' micro serrations have worked beautifully so far for slicing vegetables cleanly and thinly, corn on the cob ends, rock-hard butter into the tiniest slices, and the meat I have so far tested. This is significant to me because my old Chicago knives performed in the same manner, in contrast to some of the knives I had to return back that I had previously ordered from this site and had "dragon teeth" serrations that simply "torn" whatever I cut with them. If you want incredibly clean slices from anything other than steak, micro serrated knives are the only option. Let me give you fair notice now: these bastards are extremely SHARP! When chopping, dicing, or otherwise preparing vegetables, tuck your fingers in so you don't lose the tip. Be careful while hand washing with a sponge or scrubber (such as a doobie, which I use), since they will seriously sever that sucker if you're not very careful. Sharp, sharp, sharp are everywhere.In conclusion, these steak knives earn a 5 Star rating in my book. They function well, look excellent, and are incredibly comfortable to hold in the hand for a set of four high-quality knives that costs around $30. They have a solid "heft" to them and a long blade. (Can you think of any benefits that the more costly steak knives displayed here on Amazon may possibly provide for the higher price?) Purchase the set. You'll adore them.

These steak knives are lightweight without feeling cheap, colourful, and sharp. Since the start of the BBQ season over three months ago, we have been using them and we adore them. Meats like steak, ribs, chicken, pork chops, and tri-tip have all perished at the hands of the knife.We really do love them, but it shouldn't come as a surprise that I don't think they'll stay for very long. This knife set costs little money. However, I have a feeling that they'll be there for a good deal of roast beef and turkey seasons in between. Without a doubt, I'd purchase these again!

I was anticipating virtually a one-and-done disposable knives at this price, but they're great! Although the handles are made of plastic, the material is dense and feels robust in the hand. They even have good looks.
