In the six decorative pots that flank the front steps of my house, snails were eating the flowers and making themselves at home. I would take them out, tidy up the mess, and within a few days locate the next set. I wrapped this copper foil tape once, about a third of the way up each planter pot. The snails have never come back to any of those plants, and it not only looks lovely, as though it were a decoration designed to be part of the pot. For repairing and modifying printed circuit boards, I purchased a roll of this tape, and it performed as intended.When looking for this, one of my pet peeves was how many merchants are vague about the specifics of these things, like the real copper thickness. When it initially arrived, I cut a piece from the roll, took off the backer, and then used the proper solvent to completely remove the glue layer. I was able to gauge the copper layer's true thickness thanks to this. To my amazement, it was twice as thick as many of the cheaper tapes—.002" (2 mils). I recommend that the seller add this information to their specifications (and verify that dimension on every new lot of copper tape before selling it).Some suggestions for using this tape in electrical and electronic applications are as follows:1) Although the adhesive is conductive, don't rely on it to carry current or utilize it as such. For overlapping in a Faraday box, the glue would be acceptable, but NOT for connections that transport current.2) An iron with a temperature control works best with this copper tape since it solders well. Reduce the temperature as much as you can while still creating healthy joints. Because the tape is so thin, higher temperatures may cause harm to it (learned the hard way). TIP: By using a flux pen to lay a small line of flux on the connection when soldering two tapes together, you may achieve a much nicer-looking union. Not too much, or it can run in the wrong directions (try this on scraps first). As long as you don't oversolder the junction, solder will always flow first wherever the flux is applied.3) This tape's adhesive is typical for its class of goods. The adhesive on this tape WILL melt when you solder to it, and it WILL lose its holding ability if you solder the same location repeatedly. Another important reason to utilize a minimalist solder method is that the end of a strip can shift while being soldered.Overall, this is a fantastic product, and the pricing is more than reasonable given what you get. Stop reading the reviews and just buy it!D.

I'm awestruck. It was actually rather simple to use, which surprised me because I wasn't sure how it would go. It is simple to use and cuts effortlessly with normal scissors. It can be moved about. I wouldn't say you could use it somewhere and then transfer it and use it somewhere else later, but it can be moved around until you find the right position for it. It's reasonably sticky, and I believe it will stay put well. Additionally, it is reasonably flexible and bent around the glass well. A stick is included with the kit to aid in pressing it into position. The stick was really practical. Employ both ends! I had around 2 feet left over after using it to replace three dull, builder-grade flush mount lights in my kitchen. Now that I've upgraded a few of my lights, I'm really considering getting more and changing the others. The result of my work with it is represented by the image.

Although mastering the Plaid Gallery Glass liquid leading technique is not impossible, it is really difficult for anyone who doesn't have a lot of spare time. Their Redi-Lead steps in to save the day at this point. In particular, the Value Pack satisfies the requirements of those of us who are working on larger items. I find it surprising that this Redi-Lead pack isn't often offered in craft stores because it is also the most affordable.Don't be afraid to attempt these stuff if you're hesitant. It's very simple to use, and it's okay if you don't get the layout perfect the first time. It only needs to be peeled off and placed where you want it. You shouldn't be concerned if you have to move the line you're working on that it will lose its stickiness. On my present project, I had to rework one section four times before I got it just how I wanted it, and each time, the material stuck firmly. Another benefit is that it can be bent into perfect circles while being dense enough to lay a straight line without difficulty.Important: I strongly advise you to buy their liquid lead product to dab the Redi-Lead seams with if you want your imitation stained glass creation to have a more realistic, finished appearance. It genuinely does affect things.
