I bought these wind-up toys to include in a goody bag I was putting together for kids between the ages of 2 and 5. When my daughter received the chattering teeth in her goody bag, she absolutely adored using it. These are cheap, straightforward toys that are ideal for Halloween. A small wind-up toy like this was a pleasant addition to our goody bag this year because the kids also received a lot of goodies. This was great. Miniature wind-up toys that "walk" like little living cartoon characters are adorable and vibrant. Everything arrived packaged securely in a shipping box in a bright display box. It was so much fun and amazing to see all the different figures and animals that we had created when we really set up the display box to show the pieces. Each item was individually wrapped and in terrific shape. We actually purchased these so that our parrots could play with them and observe them as they walked, crawled, and spun. Some of them initially made them nervous, but the majority they actually grew to love! The snail, the witch, and the tall peacock bird were my favorites. There were SO MANY parts, and my birds loved seeing me choose a part, unwrap it, and wind it up. Even though I would advise exercising caution with your pets and anyone who owns a parrot is aware of how delicate they are, this was a lot of fun!Additionally, this would be fantastic for kids in general and in particular for kid's parties!The display box is absolutely sick and makes everything much more enjoyable!I've seen reviews where people claim that products arrived broken, however this vendor swiftly got this to me along with the display box, and everything looked and functioned flawlessly! Therefore, we did not buy this as a toy. We purchased it so that it would wrap around the pole holding our bird feeders. We wanted something to stop the squirrels from consuming all the bird food because they enjoy taking over our bird feeders. This really works like a charm!We let the slinky hang down the pole about halfway before wrapping it around the top of the "T"-shaped pole. The squirrels take an elevator down to the ground when they run up the pole and get on the slinky. In addition to saving the bird food for the birds, it does not harm the squirrels. Since we started utilizing the slinky in this method a week ago, the squirrels have not yet discovered a way to get past it.As a child, I loved playing with slinkies, and I still do as an adult:)UPDATE: Since we started using the slinky on the bird feeder, not a single squirrel has managed to reach the feeder.
