A11N Speed & Agility Training Set- Includes 1 Resistance Parachute, 1 Agility Ladder, 4 Steel Stakes, 4 Adjustable Hurdles, 12 Disc Cones, and a Drawstring Bag | Training Equipment for All Sports Review:

We've had a lot of fun utilizing this package to get our kids started on an agility training regimen. My spouse requested that and the ladder, so I bought it for the tiny obstacles. However, I upgraded to this set because of the parachute. And it did not let me down! This was really popular with my kids (6, 8, 10). We've had a lot of fun (and a terrific workout) using it to run sprints at the park. We particularly use the ladder. One area where I'd want to see improvement is the ladder. The rungs tend to move around, so I advise tying knots, wrapping the canvas around the hole twice, or perhaps stitching to keep them in place. My kids (and occasionally I) mess up our ladder when we are training, so I haven't yet done something to it, but I definitely will. This might not be a problem for you if you're really excellent at not snagging the rungs, but my kids and I both seem to snag them frequently when we're weary! Fortunately, the ladder's soft materials (plastic and canvas) make it safe to use even by younger children and a lot of fun. The little hurdles are also wonderful for kids and may be adjusted in height as needed. Overall, I'm very pleased with this kit and I hope we continue to utilize it extensively. Highly recommended and makes a wonderful present (maybe even for a hard-to-shop-for teenager).

MiMu | Hurdle Cone Set – Training Cones and Agility Poles – Adjustable Agility Ladder Speed Training Equipment for Pets Review:

We bought this kit so that we could train our dog in agility. The poles screw together, and the cones are highly durable. Each pole is also held together by a rope inside. The cones have three settings, which is perfect for agility dogs at all levels. The nicest aspect is that everything stacks precisely inside the bag after the cones and poles have been disassembled. We paid a reasonable price for a good agility set, therefore we are really delighted with our purchase.

SKLZ 6-Inch Ultra Durable Agility Hurdles, Set of 6 Review:

Out of the 12 I bought, just one was damaged. They stepped on them, landed on them, and were quite flexible. I coach young athletes. On the broken one, the player came to rest on the side with a different degree of flex.Overall, they're a great product that can make any athlete faster and more athletic!may be utilized both inside and outside!

Jack&Baig Agility Hurdles Speed Training Hurdles Adjustable Height 9"/ 12",Ultra Durable All-in-One Speed Hurdles,Set of 6 Review:

So, the only agility ladder I could locate on Amazon for a fair price that was the right width and length was this one. It was a pleasant bonus, but not necessary for me, that it came with the cones, metal stakes (for exterior use), and a carry bag. Having said that, the metal stakes appear sturdy, and the plastic cones appear to be of a respectable grade. The bag is not the highest quality and is actually rather little; after you fold or wrap it up, you really have to stuff the ladder back inside. However, this is not a major drawback, which is why I didn't deduct a star. Regarding the agility ladder, I'm aware that several reviews complained that you had to "construct it" by spacing out the rungs, but it only took me five minutes and a ruler, so it's not really a problem unless you were expecting it to be pre-set at specific lengths. The rungs seem to stay in position rather well after I've set them. Overall, a decent value for the money, and it all appears to be in working shape. Though I've only had it for a week, I'll update my review if anything changes.

Crown Sporting Goods Speed Agility Training Hurdles, Pack of 5, Choose from 6-inch, 9-inch, or 12-inch Review:

actual review In every review, it is accurate. Because one of my hurdles arrived with one missing when I ordered them, I've seen that the end caps come off easily. There was nothing inside the paper wrap or in the box. I'm dissatisfied because I dislike how it appears without one cap. To prevent the caps from falling off, I advise using gorilla glue, which is what I'm planning to do. Other than the fact that I can easily remove one off with my fingers, these obstacles are incredibly clean in person and the plastic is of decent quality. This is what I went through; it may not apply to you, but I thought I'd share and be of assistance to you. Hopefully it won't happen again because I'm going to order these again because I need more than 5 of them.

Get Out! Hurdle Cone Set – Training Cones and Agility Poles, Adjustable Agility Ladder Speed Training Equipment for Kids Review:

We needed something to assist with our aged, achy dog's strengthening training and coordination activities. This is a great fit and a breeze to work with. (I did had to install more holes to drop the poles down a little lower for dog physical therapy use, but that was fine because I knew that before I got it.)Making a course for the younger pups to play on should allow me to use it for their enjoyment as well. That will utilize each of the additional hole placements. Thanks!

At a birthday party, we used these as part of an obstacle course for a group of 4-year-olds. They were flawless. Very simple to adjust to the right height. remain where we had placed them. When one child landed on one, it disassembled but quickly put itself back together.

Unlimited Potential Speed Agility Hurdle Training Set of 6 Soccer Football Basketball Track Review:

I purchased the 12" to 20" model, however at first I was unable to adjust it. I expected it would lift up to adapt to sizes between 12 and 20 inches, but it just has two sizes: 12 inches, and 20 inches if you spin the leg the other way. I haven't used it or tested it outside on a windy day, but it seems sturdy, and I like how tall it is.

How far apart should speed hurdles be?

Speed hurdles should be placed 10 yards apart when training for sprints and 5-10 yards apart when training for longer distances.

Is it better to be short or tall for hurdles?

There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on the individual athlete's strengths and weaknesses. Some shorter athletes may have a lower center of gravity and be able to generate more power when accelerating, while taller athletes may have a longer stride length and be able to clear the hurdles more easily. Ultimately, it is up to the athlete to determine which height is best for them.

What are 3 common mistakes in sprinting?

There are three main mistakes that people make when sprinting: not leaning forward enough, not driving the knees high enough, and not keeping the arms parallel to the ground. Not leaning forward enough is a mistake because it causes the center of gravity to be too far back, which makes it difficult to maintain balance and generate the power needed to sprint fast. Not driving the knees high enough is a mistake because it reduces the stride length and makes it difficult to generate the power needed to sprint fast. Not keeping the arms parallel to the ground is a mistake
