Purchased two of these to replace mesh bags that had served their purpose for ten years. Product arrived in the proper packing earlier than the first anticipated time. Opening the bag left me a little perplexed because it had been transported with the inside out and stored inside of itself. Examined the bag, which appears to be well-made and free of any obvious flaws, with stitched reinforcements at the carrying handles and at the bottom. Zipper seems to be sturdy. Although the zippered section is very spacious, I don't think it is waterproof. There is a little pocket with a Velcro closure inside the compartment, which some people could find helpful.The bag itself is roomy, making it simple to fit 24 inch fins, a mask, a wetsuit, a regulator, and a BCD inside with room to spare—a marked improvement over our previous mesh bags. The only drawback is that there is no shoulder strap attached, so it must be carried by the handles. However, they may be large enough to allow the bag to be carried on one's back; however, with all the above-mentioned gear inside, this may not be possible. However, without the BCD, it probably is.Overall, this is a sizable, well-constructed mesh bag that will be great for carrying and storing equipment. On our subsequent trip to Bonaire, I'll put it to the test to determine if my early impressions are accurate.

This bag contains my BCD, fins, mask, gloves, boots, snorkle, and hood securely. That is enough gear to fill the back of my Jeep Patriot, but I doubt I'll be able to bring my 4xl 5mm wetsuit with me. It's convenient to have a bag specifically for holding all the small items, and I can carry the wetsuit with ease knowing that the bag has everything else. I use a different tiny, solid bag for my 28 pounds of weights since I wouldn't trust this one to hold them! The zippers seem to be small, and generally, I think the bag is quite lightweight, therefore it's not the same degree of durability that my dive shop employs. But I have a hunch that next year, instead of using improvised totes that usually had water at the bottom, I'll be grateful for this reasonably priced bag the entire SCUBA season! I may store my treasure finds in the end pocket and take them home. Additionally, when I arrive at a dive site, it appears as though I might know what I'm doing now, which is also kind of important;) 37 Dives AOW MN

I've finally discovered a winner after going through a few different bags! Other bags I've tried have corroded zippers, ripped seams, and other issues that rendered them useless after only a few usage. What distinguishes these Mares bags is as follows: The zippers are composed of non-corrosive materials, remain pristine, and function flawlessly. The handle straps completely encircle the bag in order to provide stability, evenly distribute the weight, and prevent heavy areas from tearing the seams. The bags work flawlessly as rinse bags. It is very simple to rinse, put everything in a bag, and hang it to dry. Because of the mesh, a lot of water can easily enter the bag for rinsing, and my equipment dries completely. Is it worth mentioning how big this bag is? It's enormous! My wetsuit, weights, a towel, my reg set, BC, mask, fins, and snorkel fit within with no problem. with plenty of room! It would hold enough equipment for two or three people if you were only bringing snorkeling gear. Fins of any length will fit in this bag. I would simply modify it to include fasteners and a shoulder strap so that I could carry it over my shoulder. That would improve this fantastic bag even more!

This purse is wonderful! (nearly, see below for "Cons") The big "U"-shaped zipper makes it quite simple to put and remove goods from this bag. I had owned a bag that was comparable, but the straight zipper made it challenging to put and remove goods. The BCD tank band doesn't appear to get snagged on this big U-zipper like it does on my old bag's straight zipper. The U-shaped zipper completes the deal for me; the bag is a good size and appears to be of good quality.Cons: This bag includes hooks for a shoulder strap, so the only thing it doesn't have is that, which is unusual. Although I truly would have liked a shoulder strap, I didn't think it was a sufficient flaw to reduce the rating to 4 stars (especially given the price point).

I won't lie; the fantastic Kraken logo was a big factor in my decision to purchase the bag. The bag is wonderful so far, however I don't believe the logo is particularly attractive, and the pricing is reasonable. I've only had it for a few days, and this weekend I'll have the chance to use it on a boat for my first open water dives (becoming certified! ), but so far, all of my gear fits with plenty of room to spare for the additional gear I still need to acquire. For my pool dives, though, I was able to throw my gear in and rinse it all off in it, and it worked perfectly. With no issues, I was able to clean and gather all of my equipment in one location, let it all dry, and then put everything back in its place.When you first receive the bag, it is neatly folded into a small circle that you can easily unfold and turn inside out to reveal the contents. Once you do this, I discovered that the zip that opens the bag also doubles as the travel pocket on the opposite side, making it incredibly simple to access both pockets. By the way, it works beautifully for my dry bag too thanks to this neat storage technique. There is a ton of fantastic room available throughout for both small and large items. I've read complaints about rope-style mesh versus synthetic-looking plastic mesh, which is supposed to be stronger. However, I had the opportunity to compare at a scuba show over the weekend, and some of those mesh bags looked rather flimsy to me with larger spaces in between, while this bag is more closely spaced - but enough to let water through when you rinse your gear, and let enough air through for it all to dry. I'd have to wait and see how the wear and tear compares over time, but I've already been very tough on it in just a few days, and it's holding up well.I was ecstatic about my luggage. I looked at Kraken Aquatics for other equipment since I'd love to have a dry bag with the logo on it (it's a Kraken, for crying out loud, how fantastic is that!?). I'm looking forward to seeing other items from this company and purchasing some of my other equipment from them as well. Kudos to the business for getting in touch with me to let me know about my Amazon purchase and to check that everything was okay. As a consumer, I really appreciated the really personal touch there.

I wanted a mesh bag that was pink because every piece of my equipment has pink on it in some way. Also, I needed the bag to accommodate ALL of my equipment! This goes above and beyond that. My BC, a 5 mm wetsuit, a rash guard, a regulator (in a regulator bag), and my snorkeling equipment are all contained in this bag (fins, boots, mask, snorkel all in a snorkel gear bag). My weights are the only item missing from this bag, but they easily fit; I just didn't want the bag to be too heavy. If you need to store tiny goods like anti-fog spray, it features additional side pockets. If necessary, everything folds into itself for convenient storage. Although quality appears to be good, only time will tell. I'm thrilled with this buy all around!

I bought this bag after deciding to treat my regulators and observations a little bit more responsibly.It is enormous—really big. To give you an idea of how enormous this thing is, here is how the two regulators I keep inside are configured:1. First stage MK25, regulator A700, LP hose AIR2, and transmitter Suunto2. Titan XL regulator, AIR2 LP hose, Suunto COBRA computer console, and Titan first stage. 3. Despite the fact that my dive logbook is quite thin, I store it in the side pocket.4. In the internal pocket, I keep a few little trinkets, i.e. ports plugs, allen wrenches, etc.I hope this gives BIG some context so you can better understand it if you're looking for something a little more portable. In keeping with that, I also purchased an AqualLung Traveler 50 Regulator Bag, which I absolutely adore. Perfect size, and I honestly believe that it gives superior protection and is more cushioned because, wait for it, IT'S CHEAPER.
