The bottle caps for Sodastream bottles are precisely as was advertised. They enable us to color-code our bottles in the refrigerator so that each person knows which one is theirs. Especially useful if you have drinks of the same colour and have a large family with multiple bottles! Since they have ridges instead of being smooth like other Sodastream bottle caps, I prefer to use these white ones. Great bottles, these. I adore the vivid colors because my wife uses them and so do I. We are not at all bothered by the Hebrew writing on the bottles. In fact, I was shocked to discover that Soda Stream is an Israeli business with its headquarters there. Therefore, nothing fishy about this product exists. They are authentic Soda Stream bottles made in the same facility as all other bottles. Once more, we are thrilled with these bottles. And the ones we got on February 26th, 2018 were still valid for a full three and a half years. Date of expiration: 10/2021

I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing problems with this device, but I had no problems and it performed well. Once pressured, it doesn't leak. I heartily endorse this product. When releasing the cap under pressure, just be cautious. Watch over kids who are utilizing this equipment. We got a Soda Stream Genesis as a gift a year or two ago, and we just now pulled it out to give it a go. We liked that we could adjust the carbonation levels to our preferences and that it functioned nicely. We didn't like the cost of the refills, though. It was absurd to pay $15 for less than a pound of CO2, which effectively removed any cost savings compared to the grocery shop. So, in search of a fix, we came across both direct tank connections and paint ball cylinder-based ones. The paint ball cylinders need to be refilled more frequently, and as another reviewer pointed out, you need to have your tanks hydro checked every few years at a price that is roughly similar to the price of the tanks. When you switch out empty for full cylinders at the welding gas supply, where one of us buys welding gasses, they take care of the hydro testing and gas is at its cheapest. So we ordered this attachment after discovering a 20lb tank that was for sale and already a part of my preferred welding gas supplier's cylinder swap program. The cost of replacing the empty cylinder with a full one was $30, which is less than 1/150 of what it would have cost for Soda Stream refills. The adapter has been in use by us for roughly 1.5 months. Leaks are the only major issue. Use the plastic washer that is included on the tank end of the adaptor, as has been mentioned by others. Additionally, I advise wrapping teflon tape around the CO2 tank's threads. Keep in mind to wrap the tape at least twice or three times clockwise. You can paint a solution of soap and water where leaks will show as bubbles forming to check for leaks. Shut off the tank after each usage to further decrease the possibility of losing all the gas due to leaks. However, provided it is fastened and there are no leaks, you won't have any problems if you forget and leave it on. The hose is fine, by the way. It has a 3000 psi (edit: 6000 psi) pressure rating, but due to the way CO2 tanks operate, the pressure only reaches a maximum of 850 psi at ambient temperature. Hoses with steel wrapping typically have a 1200 psi rating. Any kind of hose has the potential to be delivered that isn't up to standards, though. But each should be able to withstand the burden.The disadvantage of this adaptor is the same as any other adaptor that connects to a huge tank: you must link your soda maker to a large, ugly tank. For us, this wasn't a problem, but you'll need to go elsewhere if you want to avoid a big tank and the savings it offers. But if it's not a problem, this is a fantastic, reasonably priced option.EDIT: The working pressure of the pipe is 6000 psi, not 3000 psi.

This identical pump has been cleaned and used by me for around ten months. I'll probably buy another one soon because occasionally the syrup may harden around the spout's opening (see photo), making it impossible to pump the spout. It works again after washing the hardened syrup off with warm water, but I'm confident it will ultimately stop operating as a result of this and the fact that the plastic isn't detachable. It should keep things going smoothly if you make it a habit to clean the tip with warm water every time you switch to a new bottle and to pump warm water through the entire system in the same way you do while pumping syrup. Considering I've used it every day since Christmas 2017, getting almost a year is very impressive. Although the straw might be shortened if necessary to fit the smaller bottles, my size fits the 25.4 ounce bottles. In my 20 oz. cold brew coffee, I often use 4 to 5 pumps. If you intend to keep the Torani syrups on your shopping list, I do suggest these.

Here is my gift to you for the new year:Lemon juice, 1 cupOne sugar cupone water cupa small amount of freshly peeled and cubed ginger.Put everything in a pan, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes. These are my random thoughts:I was thrilled to discover a variety of empty plastic bottles for around $8.75 each. How crazy am I? If my mother knew I spent this much, she would be upset with me.* The toothbrushes are useless. Abandon them.* The bottles appear to be genuine Sodastream brand and are of great quality. I feel. Still, they perform perfectly well.* The colored bottles are adorable, and I appreciate how their distinctive hues make it easier for me to tell them apart from one another.The writing on the bottle is in Hebrew, so I hope you can read from right to left. Yes, I agree that this is strange. Despite the fact that I adore Israel and consider it a close friend of our country, I am not able to read Hebrew. If it had been written in Yiddish, I might have been able to somewhat decipher it, but not in Hebrew. However, the use-by date—which is 10/2021—was the only piece of information I really required from the bottle.

A few months ago, I bought a soda stream from the business. Two bottles with black bottoms were included. I didn't notice that they were distorted by not being dishwasher-safe. Use them in their place. They are far less expensive and function excellently as replacements. Dishwashers are still not safe to use, but this time I know better!

Numerous reviews with low ratings have been written about how ineffective this adaptor is. The "booby-trap" that SodaStream incorporates into the bottle valves to prevent consumers from manually refilling their bottles is working, not the adapter, which is the issue. Filling your bottle carefully is all that is necessary to get past that booby-trap. This is how: As directed, attach the tank to the SodaStream bottle, but instead of closing the valve on the SodaStream bottle, leave both levers in the "off" position and fully tighten the pin switch. Then, just slightly turn on the gas rather than fully activating it (which would set off the booby-trap). As your SodaStream bottle fills, you'll hear the CO2 slowly flowing into it and feel the tank and adapter grow cold. The gas is gently flowing right by the booby-trap into your SodaStream bottle at this point. If the tank isn't yet full when you hear the gas flow halt, just slightly increase the gas flow to make it start flowing again. Continue until you no longer hear gas pouring. A 60-liter bottle may be filled in 30–60 seconds. In my experience, it only fits about 110g of CO2 into a 60l bottle, so you'll need to refill and replace the bottle about four times as often. Nonetheless, you end up saving about 80% and get the equivalent of about 5 60l SodaStream bottles with a typical five pound CO2 tank (which costs about $15 to fill).
If your SodaStream is running out of fizz, it's time to change the carbon dioxide (CO2) cartridge. With a few simple steps, you can do it yourself! 1. Unplug the machine from the power source. 2. Remove the empty CO2 cartridge from the machine. 3. Screw the new CO2 cartridge into the machine. 4. Plug the machine back in and enjoy your sparkling water!
