Since everything was exactly as I had anticipated, I had no reason at all to get in touch with this seller.I had been looking for a hammock to put inside the box I use for my outdoor kitties during the winter. My two youngsters spend practically all of their time outside (they have a cat house with an electric heated sherpa lined pad on my porch). Even though both of the guys have been neutered since they were kittens, they still spray, so I have to bring them inside when the temperature drops too low. Despite this, they adore being outside, are excellent mousers, and would rip my door to pieces if we had tried to keep them inside. I had trouble finding hammocks since they were all so little; even the largest size I could find was still too small for my 12 pound and 17 lb boys. The size of this one is perfect! It provides extra space in their crate and could hold a 17lb ball of curled-up cat. I like that it's simple to put in and take out, and that the clips can't be undone by a cat. This will make washing it simple! The hammock will keep them both warm and comfortable during the coldest winter evenings while also freeing up space on the floor for another bed. The material is smooth, sherpa-like on one side and rather velvety on the other. Great pattern choices were made, and my favorite color is animal print! :)

This item is adored by my rats! And unlike the majority of the other hammocks I've given them, they haven't yet gotten through the hangers (or much of the rest of it). All 3 seem to enjoy fitting into it, and it has held up well after numerous wash/use cycles. Although mine haven't spent much time there, it appears like the upper level would be a wonderful location for them to relax as well.The metal hanging clips are the one thing that, in my opinion, is weak. They're the cheap, dead simple sort, but compared to other types of clips, it's a headache to take the hammock out and put it back in every time I clean the cage. I found it to be much easier to use after replacing mine with some plastic clips and a clasp from another hammock that got chewed through.

The hammock is a favorite of our ferret. Even his old one is no longer in use. Despite the clips, the quality is excellent. After a few of weeks, our clip cracked. It simply snapped in half, causing our poor fellow to fall out and hit the cage's bottom. We were lucky that it wasn't all the way up at the top of his cage. I just fastened a D-ring to the cage's side and kept using it. It is now near the bottom of the cage where it won't fall if any other ones break. Apart from that, it's incredibly adorable and simple to clean. Simply due of the issue with the clips, I don't think I would make another buy. Simply put, I wouldn't feel secure in the event that it happened again while he was higher up in his cage.

It easily fits our two rats at 25x22x22cm (LWD). They fight and sleep in this warm house. Because a customer in a pet shop warned that her rats will chew through the hanging ribbons, we have it hanging from the top of their cage, but not too high above a lower level. The top and the attachment points caught our attention the most when we first placed the hut in the cage. We whimpered a "No"! They stopped chewing on the attachment ribbons, and now they use the hut as it was meant (have no idea if that works or we were lucky). Their cozy hut house and ferret hammock are both in excellent shape. However, I suppose they have "nested" and are done making it pretty. At first, I did hear chewing on the inside, leading me to believe that one day they would fall thru a chewed hole in the bottom. We did give the rats some fleece scraps to stow away in their den to keep warm. For hanging, ours came with three hooks. Some consumers complained that they didn't receive hooks or the proper merchandise. Make sure you are ordering what you want from the pull-down menu selections because there appear to be many alternatives for what to order from this page.

My two rats, who I got this for, adore it! They started exploring it as soon as I put it up, and before I knew it, they had chosen it as their new preferred sleeping location! Rats should definitely consider this.UPDATE: My boys still adore this, although they destroyed it (as was to be expected), despite the fact that it held up very well. Given how inexpensive this is, it's really not a huge issue that I purchased a second one. If you have young children who enjoy chewing, be careful because this won't be a one-time purchase.
