For the price, you would anticipate "plasticy" hard buttons with a raw finish. This type of button belongs on a toy that was made to be used and abused. Premium buttons were not required because I am using this for an arduino/pro-micro button box, but functional ones that are sold are. The trick to soldering these buttons, which I did without difficulty, is that you must use flux or the plastic will soften. I don't think I'll use the waterproof feature, lol.

I've had a rather pricey "Led Lenser" brand flashlight for a while and have kept it in my pickup truck for when I need light. The flashlight's (big-name brand) batteries had a leak, and the acid from the cells corroded the switch at the flashlight's end and rendered it inoperable. I wanted to get the necessary components since, as I've already said, I think this flashlight is expensive (the closest model to mine right now is the Led Lenser TT, which costs $50, and to me that's pricey; I also spent more when I bought mine), but the manufacturer doesn't offer parts. They demand that you send the flashlight in for service. Although my flashlight is out of warranty, I discovered through online research that many others have experienced the same issue, and those who sent theirs in for repair were informed that the repair would be more expensive than the flashlight's purchase price or value. Given that the flashlight is made entirely of machined aluminum, it is incredibly brilliant, durable (it is sold to police and fire departments), and lightweight. The original switch was ruined by the acid, but while looking for push-on/push-off switches, I came across these 12mm Cylewet ones. I calculated the flashlight's operating areas and looked up the switch parameters before taking a chance and ordering them. Unexpectedly, the physical specifications and installation method (threaded nut) proved to be an ideal match for the end cap of my Led Lenser. However, these switches were not a simple drop-in replacement. I had to take off the old switch from the battery carrier's end and solder the carrier's two hook-up wires to the leads of the switch. The hardest aspect was replacing the flashlight's end cover since it twists the two lead wires as it goes through several turns. I had to "pre-twist" the end cap in the opposite way for a number of spins before threading it back onto the flashlight's barrel in order to prevent twisting the wires and breaking them off of their solder spots. I realize it's a long story, but this is the gist of it: On my flashlight, these modestly priced but high-quality switches operate flawlessly. Because the manufacturer won't sell a $5, easily replaceable part, the owner could no longer discard an otherwise excellent, professional-quality flashlight into a landfill. The specifications of these lovely little switches will enable their use in a variety of applications, including my flashlight and potential AC switch uses. They operate smoothly, clearly, and light-weightly so that you can feel them turn on and off, and they have a great price. Additionally, you receive 12 of them, giving you plenty of extras for any situation. They come highly recommended for any undertakings that fit their specifications.

This push-button power switch was bought for a light-duty fire assistance truck to utilize in order to turn on the lights in the rear as necessary so that equipment can be found at night. The accompanying plug/harness makes installation much simpler than with other switches of this type in the past, and because the switches' bodies are a standard size, drilling the holes for them is much quicker and simpler. In use, the light allows for quick identification and use thanks to the l.e.d. lighting, which makes a huge difference in the scenarios this truck is in. 4 of these HET06A-R were purchased to operate bathroom fans. They were in excellent condition when they arrived, and installation was simple. They look quite great, modern, and functional, and they function flawlessly. It's okay with the blue LED lights. I utilized a thermal scan reader to see whether the device is a few degrees warmer than a switch without LEDs after reading in one review that it felt warmer than a standard switch. The LEDs are producing a little heat, which is expected. If you haven't replaced many switches in your house, you should be aware that this device has four wires that you must connect in order for it to function properly. The switch you are replacing likely had just three wires: a ground, hot, and load (the wire carries the switched power that goes to the fan unit). The fourth wire of this switch, which is white, needs to be connected to a neutral wire in common. In the switch box of newer homes, there will be a common neutral wire or a common neutral wire bundle. Simply locate it, attach the white wire from the new timer switch to it, the green wire to the (copper) ground, the black wire to the hot incoming line, and the red wire to the fan line.

These buttons are beautifully made and of excellent quality. I had some reservations about the purchase after reading several reviews that referenced meltdowns while soldering connectors. I had no issues soldering several of them to connectors for 25 gauge stranded wire. After placing them in a plastic box that accommodates the full circuit, I'm happy with the overall result. I'll purchase more of them for upcoming projects.To expedite the process, I did perform the usual safety measures for temperature-sensitive areas, such as pre-tinning the wires and using thin solder wire with rosin and a hot soldering iron. Not for novice solderers, I would suggest. Since the buttons are constructed of plastic, a prolonged soldering process could potentially cause them to melt extremely easily.

I used this little guy to swap out the power button on my homemade computer. It costs less than a brand-new case. I could have installed it by just drilling a new hole in the case. The old power button was, fortunately, a little bit larger than this one, so I simply knocked out the old switch, reamed out a small piece of plastic, and this switch fits precisely inside the recessed area of the old power button. No unintentional power failures. Although the switch is inexpensive, it doesn't feel so. If it lasts even a short time, like a year or two, I'll probably buy another instead of changing the case.

PROS: I received good-quality SPST Momentary Mini-Push switches that worked as a NO switch. I used them in a low voltage (9 to 12 volts) setting and put them in a nonconductive flat plate using the provided nuts.CONS: Although it hasn't been extensively tested or put to use for very long, I have my doubts about how long the black plastic cap that serves as the push button will last. My worry is that if the cap is utilised in an installation where it is challenging to replace the switch, it will break or come off.
