On Amazon, there are literally thousands of little scales for sale. You're either lucky or at the end of a long search if you're looking at this one. Three characteristics of this scale make it my favorite. The lid also functions as a weighing tray, which alone makes this scale superior to 99% of the competition. The tray is also rather large, can carry a fair amount of material for weighing, and has raised corners to keep small parts contained. Second, the scale appears to be rather accurate to the tenths place, even though it displays to the hundredths place, and has an easy-to-read display with a blue backlight. Additionally, it includes batteries, which is a little but important feature if you're like me and don't keep a supply of batteries on hand. I adore this scale.

Okay, I'll just say that this scale is a SMALL, affordable, and useful tool and leave it at it. This works nicely for the minor measurements I usually take in the garage. It is incredibly portable and so simple to use. Since I weighed a few objects of known weight and discovered that this little guy was accurate to about.1 gram, I haven't felt the need to calibrate. acceptable to the girls I hang with with. You should also be aware that the equipment you need won't cost $10 if you are working on a project that calls for absurd accuracy. Once more, Amazon Prime helped me get my gift fast and unharmed.

Great results. has a plus or minus.08 error margin. According to my images, it includes a cute little spare battery space at the bottom and batteries are included (the brand is "Penesamig"). When not in use, I remove one battery and place it in the spare slot to conserve battery life. I can carry this scale around with me when I'm giving nutrition seminars. Scales can be a big, heavy thing, and I bring a lot of other equipment for self-case study days to show my students other approaches to collect anthropometrics. This scale is small, lightweight, and conveniently fits within a medium-sized tote bag. One drawback is that some individuals find the size too small to safely stand on and take an accurate reading. The elderly, people with weak balance, and people with limited mobility shouldn't use this scale, in my opinion.

This scale is excellent, but it updates a little slowly when you add or remove products. My main issue is with the pungent smell that emanates from the plastic and rubber components. I've discovered that cheaper Chinese-made items have an unpleasant stench that clings to your hands after you touch them and is challenging to remove with soap and water. Due to the strong odor that is transferred to your hands when using the scale and preparing food, I would be concerned about the toxicity of the plastic/rubber.

These are great, especially for the price. These scales are so practical and simple to use that I bought them to replace all of our outdated digital scales in our high school lab. In a science supply catalog, I found five of them for the price of one equivalent scale.Having stated that, it should come as no surprise that they are not precisely exact to 0.1 gram. They are precise, in my experience, to within 0.2 and 0.25 grams. Even in a school lab, that is often acceptable as long as everyone is aware of the accuracy restrictions. Buy an expensive lab scale for five times as much if you really need 0.1 gram accuracy.Also, keep in mind that you must calibrate the device using a 600-gram weight, though I discovered they were just as accurate without one as they are factory-calibrated and ready to use right out of the box.
