With this set, I hung two large mirrors and about a dozen picture frames, and they haven't moved. I like how durable the product is and how there are alternatives for different sizes. I'll be evaluating this product with regular drywall anchors. I used to need to grab my drill and a bit. After marking the area I wanted to drill, I would insert the drill bit and complete the operation. Every time the hole was drilled, drywall dust was left behind and spread throughout the area. Then I would have to drill the screw in, switch out the screw head bit, and pound in the plastic anchor.Everything is so much easier with these anchors! I drill the anchors in with one bit. They enter immediately, producing almost no drywall dust. Additionally, they appear to be much stronger and more reliable than traditional anchors. I only needed a few minutes to insert 10 of these! Everyone should have this kit at home for when they need to hang things in their home since it's wonderful. Additionally, they are simple to remove if necessary.I've already installed about 40 of these throughout my home, and not a single one has broken or failed to function. By repeatedly bashing your regular anchors against the wall, I frequently ruined them.A few images are provided. These are fantastic for managing cables! For a neat appearance, I screwed down my zip ties using these anchors. The zip ties in the images were fastened with anchors. Additionally, they were utilized for the floating server shelf. I utilized 4 in all for that shelf. There was absolutely no movement in that shelf on the wall. These anchors held the object, which presumably weighs around 20 pounds, with no issues.

I've hung a variety of stuff from three of these throughout my place. I haven't completely tested their ability to support weight because all of them weigh less than 50 lbs. However, they have been in the wall for almost 3 months and have done their job, so I don't foresee any problems.These can be hand screwed in, but it is usually advisable to use a drill to make a pilot hole if you require it in a very accurate, measured position. This is due to the fact that driving them in requires quite an amount of power, and if you try to do it by hand, the screw can shift slightly without your knowledge. You DO NOT want to have to redo them because you will be left with a large hole in your wall and it may be difficult to put another one within a few inches of the old one since the integrity of the wall may be compromised.

The feature I appreciate most about these anchors is that I can drill the precise size hole these anchors require into drywall with a thin 3/16 flathead screwdriver. By turning the head into the drywall and then flipping it around to push the anchor in with the handle, I can easily bore the hole. It seems tailor-made for it.The fact that these perform well in foam is the next. There have been occasions when I've had to fasten conduit or bell boxes to foam. You'd be astonished at how many signage, building sidings, and wall sidings are constructed of foam. Normally, I'd have to pray that there was something solid I could attach to underneath the foam, but this doesn't always happen. While toggle bolts and zip-its don't function, these anchors do.The third benefit is that they can be applied on masonry. Concrete in old structures can become extremely hardened. Therefore, employing Tapcons causes the pilot hole to be bored out or causes their heads to be severed when you try to drive them (even when you insert a piece of wire into the hole). You can anchor into concrete that was placed in the nineteenth century by drilling the pilot hole to a depth of 1/4 and then pushing this anchor in.When you unintentionally drill a hole that is too large for the anchor, it spins as you drive the screw in. Pull the anchor out, hold it in place with pliers, and insert the screw just slightly ( just up to the point before the anchor splits.). Work in all materials (sometimes with drywall the hole is just too overbored, you'll just have to switch to a toggle bolt), you just need to bump the anchor into the hole with the screw in it and then continue driving the screw into the anchor.My corporate card is only good for gas and parts from supply or hardware stores; I can't use it for internet transactions. These anchors are the best, so I pay for them out of my own wallet.

They are excellent anchors. The included screws are excellent. Many of the negative reviews, in my opinion, may be deceptive. These anchors are only to be used with drywall. They will break if you try to use them on wood or if they run into a stud. They are only intended for use with drywall. I think someone else said that the screws didn't fit, but that is also untrue. The screws are properly in place, yet they won't go in with your hand. Use a screwdriver and apply some pressure while doing this. The screws will cling to the surface firmly.I hung a sizable shelf for nail polish with the help of my anchors. It weighs more than 50 pounds, nail polish included. At first, I wanted four of the anchors. But I made mistakes on the bottom two. The one above it went in without a problem after one of them struck a stud, which I checked for, but when I hit the stud again, it was broken. The bottom one was the first one I completed, and I accidentally drilled it in too rapidly, causing it to go straight through the drywall. I then heard it fall into the wall. Therefore, the over 50-pound shelf is currently hanging on my wall with just two anchors, and they are stable.First, make sure there are no studs. You won't have a pleasant time if you hit one.2. Be delicate and slow when using a power drill. These drywall anchors are substantial. With the same ease as poking a hole in a loaf of bread, they will easily chew into the drywall.3. Use only drywall when using them. They are anchors for drywall.4. Mishaps occur. Spackle should be on hand.

Toggle (wing) bolts work just fine and may even be more affordable for many jobs that call for attachment to drywall. In my situation, I needed to attach a project to drywall that was very substantial. In addition, if I wanted access to something, I needed to be able to remove the fixture. Toggle bolts can be removed, although doing so results in the wing nut falling off and requiring the purchase of a new toggle bolt. Since nothing falls, these anchors have the added benefits of increased strength and reuseability. The only drawback I've noticed is that you have to almost precisely drill the huge installation hole where you want it. Toggle bolts require a large hole to be drilled to accommodate the wings, but you can move the "bolt" part around a good deal before tightening. I haven't had a problem with this, and the ultimate line is that you should always drill a hole where you want it. Although I don't believe I'm yet ready to mount something extremely big with these, they are unquestionably an excellent option if you are without any other choices.The following was changed later: These anchors haven't caused me any issues, but they do have a restriction: the thickness of the object you're trying to fasten to the wall. No issue if you are merely fastening a bracket. However, it becomes more challenging if the object is thicker than around 1/2 inch. One would assume that the specified long screws would be sufficient in length. However, you wish the screw was even longer when you consider the construction of the anchors.It could be challenging to comprehend how an anchor functions without actually seeing one. The anchor actually has two parts: a front part that fits into the 3/4-inch hole, and a "winged" part that is hidden behind the wall. The wings portion features a metal, threaded portion that grasps the screw and engages the front portion. The wings portion may glide back and forth to accommodate various wall thicknesses and "attaches" to the front portion via a hexagonal shaft. The winged component cannot rotate as you tighten the screw thanks to the hexagon's "anti-rotation" design. The issue is that the wings section can and will glide as far away from the front half as it can until you actually start the screw. The screw is only visible for about 1/2 inch at this point.These fasteners were intended to be used to mount a sink cabinet to the wall. Even though I didn't require the strength, I wanted to be able to take the cabinet out and replace it if necessary. The cabinet's back measured 3/4". I had to do something else because I was unable to start the screw in the anchor. I looked locally for a longer screw or a threaded rod but was unsuccessful. The hexangonal shaft could mount something thicker if the winged portion didn't slip off of it so easily. To make mobility difficult, perhaps one could cludge up anything.These anchors are expensive overall, but they are worthwhile. I've just finished mounting a fold-up ironing board on a wall that lacked studs in the necessary locations.

I wish I had been aware of this zinc anchor and screw combination much earlier. I'm done using plastic anchors. These are quite simple to install. Plastics annoy me by bending and breaking. I am a 77-year-old homemaker, and installing my new paper towel holder in the bathroom was a breeze.

These anchors perform admirably in dry wall and sheetrock. These have been put to good use both at home and at business.Prior to receiving them, I was pretty confident that this was a wise purchase for me. I noticed the 40 pieces, which seemed reasonable to me. I mistakenly believed I was purchasing 40 anchors, but if I had paid closer attention, I would have seen it was actually a package that contained 20 of each of the appropriate size screws and the anchors. For 40 anchors, the pricing would have been excellent, but not so wonderful for the package. I was looking for a price on anchors because I had lots of screws.Going back to the item As I've already indicated, I've been using these for a long time. Another manufacturer's drill tip is more heavier and made of metal, but I did not enjoy using them as much. Then there is the plastic variety, which I thought was garbage.Just a warning for brand-new users. These should be used for items you plan to leave in place for a time because moving the item leaves a good-sized hole, about a half-inch wide, that needs to be patched.
