The only usable components in the bundle are the brackets. Like many other reviews and myself, you'll probably need to visit your neighborhood hardware store to purchase the correct length bolt, washers, and nut. The box has a metric 400mm x 1.5 threaded bolt, however I needed a bolt with a 6 inch length ". So, I just purchased two 3/16" x 6" threaded bolts, some 3/16" x 1.5" washers, and a regular 3/16" x 6" bolt "lockscrew washers In order to safeguard the threaded bolt and add a little rigidity, I next used 1/2" gas line that was trimmed to about 4". Great results. Like I said, it's a lot of money for two straightforward brackets, but I was unable to quickly locate anything else that was less expensive.

Despite having my 70 lb bag hanging from it, the spring is quite sturdy and does not sag. I bought it to lessen the noise my punching the punching bag made inside the house. My bag is hanging from a 6x6 beam in my garage, and I've been told that it makes a "twang" or what you may expect a spring to sound like when utilized in this way in the bedrooms upstairs. To lessen the noise made by the heavy bag while striking the rest of the house, I would unquestionably suggest this.My only problem is that it's too big to use on my Firstlaw wood beam heavy bag hanger by itself; I had to use another hook in between this and the wood beam heavy bag hanger, which caused the bag to hang lower. But it's not a big issue.

My hefty bag was attached to the stand with the help of a strong chain that did exactly what I needed it to. I wish I could get rid of one or two links, but they are welded in. But in order to remove the linkages, I utilized a powerful saw (I needed to do this to raise my heavy bag higher).4 stars because it's impossible to take the links out.

This swivel hasn't completely disappointed me, but I no longer like the "fast style." Added a ball and hook in its place, which made me happier. Anyway, this one slows down and becomes a little squeaky every few weeks or so, so I had to keep WD-40ing the pin. It was in my garage in Florida, so heat, dust, and humidity are factors to take into account. For a beginner like me, I find it abhorrent how this sort of swivel repeatedly "robs" you if it swings incorrectly. As opposed to this style, which will sort of spin at the top to accommodate whichever direction you hit it from and then swing (or pivot at the horizontal pin) in line with that punch, I believe the ball n' hook forces you to strike the bag more accurately. With a ball or hook, you can hit the bag off-center while maintaining your rhythm, but the bag will swing erratically or spin in a circle. Then, with this swivel, you've forced the u-bolt to spin sideways in your direction, and when you do land a nice straight punch immediately after, the swivel doesn't turn, and the bag comes to a stop. Therefore, one is "robbed." I believe that this specific one's freakish size is one factor in its high prevalence. At the gym, I've utilized smaller speed swivels that didn't impede my rhythm as much. Although it's not terrible and appears to be nicely constructed, everyone has their preferences, and this one is not for me.

I have now thoroughly tested these chains. I've been hitting the bag every day for weeks without any issues. It feels solid, and the swivel is flawless. Never experienced any issues, such as chains getting tangled or crossed. The only problem I had was that the accompanying screws for attaching it to the wood beam are very inexpensive. I started drilling in the first one when it broke in half. I hurried down the street to the hardware store and spent a total of $0.84 on 2 high-quality all-steel screws. Since then, no issues. Plan on purchasing two steel wood screws, but aside from that, everything is fantastic and the price is unbeatable. Excellent product all around.

When one of the children went off to college, a modest bedroom was transformed into a gym space. There isn't much room to fit equipment in, so every inch counts. This stand may be easily adjusted in height and depth to fit luggage and rooms of various sizes. You can notice in the picture that my 100-pound UFC bag fits into a place where I never imagined it would!The straps were cut through the box when it came, and there were screws all over the place. The tools are basic and need improvement, and the building instructions also include a single diagram with arrows indicating where screws should go. Despite this, it is half completed and it is obvious where the pieces go even without instructions; also, I prefer to have a real adjustable wrench and screw driver.I'm pleased with the stand overall and I hope it lasts a long time!
