The leash appears to be fairly durable, though I haven't used it yet. I like how the board-attaching end uses Velcro to fasten to the little rope loop. Since the description didn't make it apparent, when I bought it, I was taking a chance and hoping it had Velcro on both ends. It feels nice and cosy on the part that hooks to the ankle.

This leash is great. I placed my order based on reviews, and I wasn't let down. We use an inflatable SUP to paddle on calm water. The issue is that there are many boats and jet skis around where we paddle, so occasionally we do fall off. One of them was this past weekend. My acquaintance claimed that the leash was our best purchase following a severe fall. It kept him attached to his life jacket on the board and the paddle. You hardly ever notice it's on, it's quite comfy, and it never gets in the way. My only criticism is that it should have included directions because I'm a beginner paddler. Knowing that my SUP had a huge loop that the velcro could be inserted directly through, I recognized I didn't need the small loop that was connected to it after researching the topic online. We are considering purchasing a new board, and we will unquestionably get another of these leashes. I just wish the paddle itself had a leash.

I needed a new leash because the one I had was lost. Even though the packaging and shipping were prompt and effective, I'm not in the least impressed.I bought this item based on reviews. The leash is effectively cooled, and the Velcro has a good grip. Simply put, I don't like how the wire and Velcro strap are attached by a 3" space. Although it is securely fastened, it is uncomfortable to wear. In case I decide to return it, I haven't used it on my board.I need to read more evaluations to understand why this "contraption" is superior than what I'm used to.

Despite the fact that this item was intended for a surf board, I decided to buy it because of its built features as a tether for my pricier fishing rod and reel. I recently lost both and watched as it fell into the lake (I cannot dive that deep to retrieve). I don't even understand it, but it sounds fantastic, and I am always delighted to assist a little business team:D. I'm usually like, "Meh! Okay, well, like with most online deliveries, it might be a few days late. Having said that, it arrived at my door on September 30, 2016, as planned. Therefore, I'd like to thank Ho Stevie for keeping your promise.To continue, the leash itself is fantastic! It arrives exactly as depicted in the picture: my plastic tube was coded and green. The interior cuff that I used to wrap around my leg was strong, cushioned, and very long-lasting. Going under 3-5' surf waves in Orange County, California did not pull or extend the leash so far. I have just used the leash on two surf trips. It is strong and gorgeous, but most importantly, it functions on my board. It occasionally wraps over my leg, but I feel like it used to happen with my surf leash.The only criticism I have is that it did not have the key holder that was shown in the picture. Having said that, I wouldn't bring my key to battle and rely on it to be secured inside a tiny 1" velcro device while being battered by waves. So whether or not I have a key holder, it really doesn't matter to me.In conclusion, Ho Stevie! Absolutely 5 out of 5 stars. The courteous email that was given to me following the purchase of my leash asking if I was satisfied with my purchase was an unneeded but really appreciated gesture that, in my opinion, exemplifies excellent customer service. I appreciate the key storage pocket on this killer leash (kind of difficult to find at the local shops). The only very small criticisms are that the ankle strap isn't flush and the stash pocket kind of bulges with the larger/newer car keys. The only workaround I can think of is to rotate the pocket by 90 degrees (which will increase the width of the strap).

Good value and high caliber. It has never unraveled before. Observe that I am using this leash on my foamie and not my glassed board. It lacks a rail-saver, which means that during a rough wipeout, the leash may be yanked up against the board's back edge and harm the rails or tail. It's always possible, especially on waves larger than the 1 to 5 feet I surfed in for years, but I never had that happen. Do yourself a favor and spend an extra $10 on a board with the rail saver if you have a custom or hand-shaped PU glassed board that you invested a lot of money in. If not, this leash is excellent and incredibly affordable.
