These were just what I needed, and I purchased them for a GISH 2019 challenge. If I don't need whatever I obtain for a certain activity, I usually donate it. I don't actually require little gnomes. Although the over $20 price tag still made me cringe, these were so adorable and of such good quality that I chose to retain them. The other pair I purchased, purportedly from the same manufacturer, is inferior than these. This is the set to get if you require little gnomes.

Typically, for me to buy something, it needs to have some purpose. I noticed this a long time ago, but I just added it to my Amazon cart since I didn't want to spend money on something just because it was adorable. Finally, I said, "What the heck," and placed my order. Well, after receiving it, I discovered that it does actually serve a purpose—it makes others grin! For my pets to drink out of, I have it in a huge 18" circular green dish outside on the deck, sitting on the bamboo of a Zen-style pump. They enjoy the daily freshening of the flowing water, the nearby cat grass, and the three to four pots of various-sized flowers and plants that surround the dish, keeping it shaded and reducing the amount of cleaning required. This addition, which adds a touch of whimsy to the already lovely tiny drinking fountain/deck, is quite adorable. All who see it grin when they see it.

Here's a photo of my miniature owls in their clay pot from Lithops. They look so adorable in there (the succulent plants), and this is exactly why I bought them. This is a present for my granddaughter; she has not yet opened it, but I did (of course) check it out before wrapping. Everything appears to be in order, and I will be ordering a few more items from this firm to finish her "fairy garden" Additionally, I bought two hardcover novels for her to keep in her own library: The Secret Garden and Fairyopolis. Both were written in the past, and the later was written in cursive, which is advantageous because the students at the school where they go are learning to read and write cursive ( they think it part of life long skills, note writing, etc) I happily agree and couldn't be happier! This firm was my choice for her fairies and accessories since after her birthday we will go and create a fairy garden that will sit on her terrace and be carried inside for the winter (the house with the doors that open will also excite her!). The unfortunate issue is that I would like having a set of my very own in a huge pot on my patio! One is never too old, in my opinion, for a fairy garden! Additionally, when the grandchildren visit for Sunday supper, they can play with it!
