Light Therapy Lamp, Miroco LED Bright White Therapy Light - UV Free 10000 Lux Brightness, Timer Function, Touch Control, Standing Bracket, for Home/Office Use Review:

My wife and I are about to have the late-fall to winter blues at the time of this purchase. Falling temperatures, gloomy nights that seem to begin way too early, and setting the clocks back one hour. This time of year, I'm particularly prone to fatigue and low-grade sadness, and my body can sense how slowly but surely old man winter is coming. I recently discovered about the advantages of "Light therapy" in light of all of that. I'm neither a doctor nor a scientist, yet my body can tell when a light has one quality over another. This item arrived well-packaged and practically ready to use. We only need to plug in a regular outlet and a single-point plug at the back to begin proper light therapy. This lightweight tool may be used efficiently in any respectable room or office space thanks to the little kickstand's stability and the cord's length. The lamp is really simple to use. There are three buttons: one for power, one for brightness adjustment, and one for choosing the timer. The three escalation settings are flexible, so it's crucial to pick the one that works best for you according on your needs and the type of environment you're in. As long as it isn't pointed directly at your eyes, which is never a good idea with any lamp, obviously, the light is lovely and calming, and overall, the experience feels a lot better to me than using any conventional lamp. The lighting in the space seems "real" and natural to me as I glance about, and I can already sense the positive energy of daylight everywhere. This lamp will also be useful in gloomy hotel rooms and at holiday sleepovers after a hard day with some...annoying relatives. Bring on old man winter—I'm prepared and think this lamp is a terrific idea to chase away the drudge of those gloomy autumn nights!

Miroco Light Therapy Lamp, UV-Free 10000 Lux LED Bright White Therapy Light, Touch Control with 3 Adjustable Brightness Levels, Memory Function & Compact Size for a Happy Life Review:

Years ago, I considered purchasing a lamp for light therapy, but they were always large and cumbersome. It is lovely and light. I was charmed from the time I opened the box and adore how simple it is.Like most LED appliances, the light is very cool and bright and doesn't produce any heat. I enjoy the touch button to switch between levels because the three settings have extremely distinct light levels.Every time I'm working or reading, I switch it on and keep it closed for approximately 30 minutes. It gives me back some of the vitality I lose when the seasons change, and it creates much cooler-toned light than I had anticipated. In all honesty, using this light has been the most successful remedy I've ever tried. adore it

Circadian Optics Lampu Light Therapy Lamp | As Seen On Shark Tank | 10,000 LUX Ultra Bright LED | Full Spectrum UV Free | Organically Round | Turn On Your Day Review:

Don't be concerned about the "dots" if you're reading reviews and are doing so. The individual LEDs are hardly noticeable when used properly (off to the side while you're focusing on something else), and they have no detrimental effects on the usefulness of this as a light source. And as of now, every SAD lamp with an LED base has these, so it's clear that there isn't a problem. If you're not staring directly at it, it won't distract you, and you shouldn't anyhow.I've owned three light therapy lamps, and this one is by far my favorite. My prior two were enough effective to be noticed, were portable, and compact. But this year, I'm dealing with grief on top of my ongoing depression and seasonal light issues, so the tiny travel light wasn't making much of a difference. After reading up on several research, I discovered that the larger bulbs of this type are the most effective, proving the adage "size matters" in this situation. I wanted something that didn't look at all like a light therapy box because I use mine in the living room. My first pick was the Circadian Optics Lattis model, but after reading about size, I decided to go with the less expensive but larger Lampu.I have no regrets at all. Although I had been using another lamp for three weeks, the Lampu model has three light settings and is so intense that I had to start out at medium for a few sessions and keep them brief. I can now sit with it on the highest level for an hour without discomfort. I'm writing this review while sitting with it three months after purchasing; the light angle is ideal for lounging and reading or writing as you bathe in the sun. It took some getting accustomed to, but now using the on/off function that hardly needs to be touched is really simple. I do wish there was a timer built in, but it's a minor quibble for a tool that has shown to be very successful in treating my seasonal troubles. Spending enough time with this should eliminate your seasonal depression if that is your main issue. If, like me, you also suffer from other depressive conditions, this should at least remove the seasonal component, preventing the consequences from compounding. (In any case, have your vitamin D levels checked. The majority of persons in the Northern Hemisphere have some degree of deficiency, which will exacerbate a variety of depressions.)It's portable due to its stability and light weight. Additionally, it is sufficiently appealing that previous house guests were unaware of its true nature until I actually used it. The best part is that it works well to combat seasonal depression. It's easily one of my top five purchases from this year and was well worth the money.

(New) Verilux HappyLight VT31 Lumi 10,000 Lux LED Bright White Light Therapy Lamp with Adjustable Brightness Review:

My physician suggested a SAD lamp to me to help with the winter months and protracted overcast days. As of right now, I've just used it for a couple days that were excessively gloomy, so I can't say for sure how effective it is. I do, however, have the following initial thoughts:Design: The structure is portable and small. It's convenient that the stand attaches to the back of the unit so you can transport it as needed. The brightness button on the device responds to touches, which makes switching between settings very simple. The design's one drawback is that it prevents the device from being put up in a landscape configuration. I came across other Verilux models with this feature when doing research; it would be wonderful if it were offered in all of their tablet-style devices (I know, I know...I could have just bought one that had this functionality). However, I'm deducting 1 star because of the feature's absence.Brightness: I've read a few other reviews that discuss this product's lux. Although I haven't measured the lux, I can say that even on the lowest level, this thing is bright, and it only grows brighter from there. Even some people could find the light uncomfortable. The light is currently around 2 feet away from me, and the lowest intensity is about right. I am aware that the maker claims the light is 10,000 lux at 6 inches, but I find it impossible to believe that the light, let alone the unit, could be so near without being overly bright.I'll try to remember to update this post once I've used the product for a while. In either case, I'm happy with the style and brightness. I believe it's a reasonable investment for anyone searching for a well-designed and portable SAD unit based only on those features. The absence of a landscape option is the only drawback.

TaoTronics Light Therapy Lamp, Protable White Light Therapy Energy Lamp- UV-Free 10000 Lux Brightness, Timer Setting & Foldable Bracket for a Happy Life Review:

A follow-up update: I want to say how grateful I am for the customer service's assistance after I filed the review. They gave me an explanation of the price increase's justification, and even though I disagree, I can understand that. Even after using the lamp for two winters, I still like it.Update: I went back to place an order for a few lamps to give as gifts for Christmas and was unhappy to learn that the price had increased significantly. It is advisable to get a product from a more trustworthy company rather than one whose pricing changes so frequently. It's a cheap lamp, as I've already stated, and not quite $40 value. And who can predict how high the price will increase before Christmas.Since this is one of the more affordable light therapy lamps on the market, I wish I knew how to confirm the 10,000 lux rates, but for me and my daughter, it seems to be working. The brightest setting is "quite bright," but I have my doubts about the lesser two. Not much brighter than the LED lanterns I purchased at the hardware store, it seems. Lightweight and conveniently out of the way when not in use, the light itself. If you want to attempt light therapy but don't have the money to buy one of the more expensive lamps, this is a fantastic option.

Verilux HappyLight Full-Size 10,000 lux Light Therapy Energy Lamp Review:

First, I live in Seattle. It is mid-October, and it has been dark and dismal for 2-3 weeks now. We won't have a fair amount of sun until May or June. When we initially moved here from sunny Austin, TX, I heard about SAD and droopy individuals, and I felt tough and proud that I didn't have any trouble with the darkness. Then I started feeling sick frequently in the winter, and then all winter. I saw I wasn't rebounding back, and I wasn't driven to get back into shape, or go out with friends, or do anything, really. I wish I had found this light 5 years ago. The first day I used it for about 15 minutes, and I wasn't sure, but I thought I felt a little peppier for the first few hours after I used it. The second day I wore it for 20-30 minutes, and I definitely felt better. I've used it for a couple weeks now, and it has considerably improved my quality of life. I definitely have more energy, vibrancy and enthusiasm in everything in my life. I have forgotten to use it a few of times and by the afternoon on such days I'm dragging and wondering what's wrong, then I realize I forgot to use the light. It truly helps give me my life back in fall, and I imagine it will continue in winter and spring. Hopefully I won't have any trouble with reliability over time.

Circadian Optics Lumos 2.0 Light Therapy Lamp | As Seen On Shark Tank | 10,000 LUX Ultra Bright LED | Full Spectrum UV Free | Adjustable Light Panel | Turn On Your Day Review:

I've never reviewed a project before, but this one is deserving. In fact, it has altered my way of living. For more than a year, I suffered from SEVERE sleeplessness. I finally found the proper physician, who said that I simply had a severely delayed circadian rhythm and advised me to get a light similar to this one. When I wake up, I utilize it for around 30 minutes. I was able to stop using Ativan in two weeks and started experiencing some of the finest sleep of my life. It's without a doubt the most worthwhile $70 I've ever spent. (I am unable to comment on its effectiveness in reducing SAD, despite the fact that I am aware that many individuals use it for that purpose as well.)While I'm certain that any light like this one would have achieved the same results, I particularly enjoy this one. When I vary between using it at the table, sofa, bed, etc., its nicely crafted, light weight, and adaptability come in handy. While others have noted that it is a touch top heavy, my cat has already knocked it over a dozen times and it is still functioning just fine. The only drawback is that my light cannot be powered by batteries; instead, it must be plugged into the wall, and the chord isn't that long. An extension cord may be required, depending on where you intend to use it.In conclusion, TRY THIS LIGHT if you believe that your insomnia is the result of a circadian rhythm issue. You will only lose $70 if it doesn't work out for you. If it succeeds, everything might change. (PS. All comments are my own; I have no connection to or communication with this business.)

Verilux HappyLight VT22 Lucent 10,000 Lux LED Bright White Light Therapy Lamp Review:

After switching responsibilities at my job and moving to a part of my building without windows, I made the decision to purchase this product. The absence of natural light was really beginning to affect my mood and how I felt throughout the day. It is quite easy to set up and use right out of the box! The light quality is fantastic, and it immediately made me feel better. Every morning I use it for 30 minutes, and I'm amazed by the compliments I get from my coworkers as well. The Happy Light being on, according to my supervisor, makes her happy as well. My husband is constantly requesting that I bring the Happy Light home for him to use, so I'm considering acquiring a second one. I'm ecstatic with my buy!

Verilux HappyLight Compact Personal, Portable Light Therapy Energy Lamp Review:

That's significant for both me and everyone who knows me. On the first weekend of November, when the time changes, I start sobbing and acting strangely. I merely asked for a solution because I'm 65. Usually at this point, I start seeing strange visions. From November until the awful day of December 21, I normally wait for someone to come get me. To get a jump start on it, I bought this in October. That first weekend, I was receiving a spinal fusion in the hospital. I spent a lot of time under that lamp trying to gather enough supplies to last me the entire week away from home, but IT WORKED!!! Before I go back to work, I've been at home for three weeks. Every time I have, I sit here beneath this light. Sunset is no longer a source of melancholy and despair. I have something for you, Winter Solstice, so hurry up. Although I receive treatment from a specialist for my depression, this is the best I've felt in twenty years.

Circadian Optics Lattis Light Therapy Lamp | As Seen On Shark Tank | 10,000 LUX Ultra Bright LED | Full Spectrum UV Free | Bold Accent Piece | Turn On Your Day Review:

THIS LAMP IS AMAZING. My workdays have been dramatically altered by it. I just got out of college and started working in an office. I didn't understand how much I need sunlight until I was unable to choose a window seat, complete my work outside, or walk between classes. I went from liking my job and the people I worked with over the span of a few weeks to dreading the moment I had to go through the doors each day. I absolutely didn't feel like myself. I sought for sunshine lamps on a whim or perhaps you could say "in a time of desperation" and found this one.As soon as I turned it on, I saw a difference. I had the impression that I had gone outside and turned my face toward the sun. When I'm in my office, I typically keep it on the lowest level, and it has helped me feel more like myself. This will change your life.I gave this four stars for a number of reasons:1) IT WORKS 2) It doesn't take up a lot of room on my desk and isn't intrusive in any way 3) It's cute—the organic design adds character to an otherwise impersonal workplaceThe cord's bad placement is the sole reason I didn't give this product five stars. It's not the worst thing because my present setup allows me to conceal it behind my desktop. In an ideal world, I would have a laptop and a small desk, in which case I would be unable to conceal the cord. Not the most elegant design. If there was a way to do it, I'd give it 4.5 stars.
