Wow, this stuff really gets hot! It took me a few tries to figure out how the "flame" travels across the coal when lighting because I'm really new to using charcoal for incense. It's more of a glittering flicker than the complete flame that I had anticipated, which would have moved across the coal possibly like a BBQ briquette. The necessity to keep the initiating flame close to the coal until you see the steady spread of the dazzling flicker spreading across the coal was my other observation. I suppose I moved the flame too quickly the first few times. However, once it is lit and the coal is covered in glittering, wow, it gets incredibly hot—exactly what I want for burning incense. My other piece of advice for a beginner is to make sure the coal is resting on some pebbles, or better yet, some suitable sand. Make sure the surface that the metal cup or thurible sits on is heat resistant. I used aquarium rocks and my thurible (brass incense cup burner) still gets quite hot. Of course, a hanging-style thurible and stand would be preferable to a cup-style thurible in this situation.In any case, this box of 100 coals was the greatest deal I could find on Amazon, and the quantity is excellent value for the money.

I've read numerous reviews contrasting the two brands, with varying degrees of success. Here are the outcomes of my own test.Ecocha (left) vs. The CocaNara (right).I have previously used both products, but I wanted to provide a thorough side-by-side comparison.The Naras dependably produce a LOT of very fine white ash, in my experience. When I say there is a lot of ash in my living room, I mean that it resembles volcanic fallout. The slightest breeze—from an air conditioner turning on, a dog waving its tail, a ghost floating past, etc.—scatters it all around Kingdom Come. It is difficult to manage heat when they burn quickly and at different temperatures. Because you need to replace a coal halfway through a single bowl of shisha, this also makes you run out much faster.Ecocha coals emit significantly less ash and have considerably more constant heat. The ash Ecocha produces is likewise denser and does not contaminate my soul, visitors, or table with dust. They burn a lot more gradually. They handle heat much better than Naras do, and they don't fully fry the shisha. As a result, the box of coals will last longer because you won't need to keep refilling coals that have been ashed out.Ecocha coals, in other words, will enable you to genuinely enjoy your hookah session. I recently purchased a hookah and initially ordered coals to go with it. However, after using the hookah for a while, I began to notice that the coals gave out an odd scent when they were lighted. This charcoal is excellent, but after playing with several ways, I've discovered the very best way to utilize it thus far, which I'd want to share with you all.I've encountered the same negative difficulties that many people talk about when evaluating (burning up resin to fast due to temp...)Try it out and see if it performs as well as I have come to expect. I use inexpensive, long-handled cooking tongs that I'll store exclusively for this. Take a piece with tongs, turn the heat to high, hold the disc over the flames (or, these days, I just lay it directly on the grate), and let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side (you'll figure out what works best for you). Now, here's the important part: after turning the heat off, I set my timer for 25 minutes. In this manner, what I truly do is heat up the disc to the proper temperature so that your resin burns how you want it to. Without the WAIST OR THAT BURNT SNELL, slowly and pleasantly! Your disc should burn through that scorching stage if possible. It will turn gray, which will be COOLER (JUST AS U WLD ID PREPARING COALS FOR GRILLING. ) I next take my tongs and carefully raise the disc off the floor and gently remove it to your resin burner.WHILE WAITING FOR YOUR DISC TO TURN THAT NICE GRAY COLOR, YOU MAY WANT TO PUT SOME RESIN IN HEAVY-DUTY ZIPLOCK FREEZER BAGS AND CRUSH IT WITH A ROLLING PIN ON A CUTTING BOARD. I PREFER HAVING 3 DISTINCT SIZE OPTIONS THAT WORK WITH THE TEMP. I first crush some very fine (I refer to this as fairy dust) and just pinch at a time, release on disc, and I'll soon know when I can use size 2, which is crushed similarly to large rice grains.FINALLY THE THIRD SZ MOST REWARDING, which can be up to you; depending on the disc's temperature, I'd start with pea size or larger!This will prevent smoke alarms from going off and allow the fire to burn slowly while emitting a beautiful aroma (not charred!). To do this, there will be a narrow stream of smoke that burns as it should. depending on SZ, lasting up to an hour or longer. No WAISTING THE MAGICAL GIFT FRM ABOVE is also permitted.HAPPY HELPFUL SUCCESSFUL RESIN BURNING WITH HOPE ***It should go without saying to practice caution

I adore the coals for instant lighting since all it takes is a quick tap with my lighter to see the sparks begin to spread across the coal, signaling that it is ready. Before it entirely burned to ashes, I did use it for around 4 hours, which is plenty for me. The only thing I don't enjoy is the scent once the coal is lit. In fact, I'll burn it outdoors, wait a few minutes, and then bring it back inside my tiny house because the smell will fill the entire place and stay for a while, which is too much for me. Where do I even begin with these coals and the individuals that created such a fantastic product? From an aficionado, this is the only coal I advise using for any type of smoking. Need more heat? Increase the amount you're using. It's been at least an hour and 45 minutes since I last had them burning out, cracking, or chipping. The creators of the product will never allow a customer to be dissatisfied with it. Because she enjoys having a direct impact on the market, coco is excellent at soliciting community feedback for improvement ideas and listening to everyone's worries. If you have finished smoking hookah and have hookah coals that need to be disposed, there are a few safe methods to get rid of them. One way is to wait until the coals are completely cooled off and then dispose of them in a metal container. Another way is to bury the coals in sand until they are extinguished. Once they are extinguished, you can then dispose of the coals in the garbage.
To make hookah smoke thicker, you need to use less water in the base and pack the bowl tightly.
A hookah lasts for about an hour.
If you're using a small hookah, you'll only need about 3-4 coals. If you're using a medium hookah, you'll need 4-5 coals. If you're using a large hookah, you'll need 5-6 coals.
