IBgard® for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Symptoms Including, Abdominal Pain, Bloating, Diarrhea, Constipation, 48 Capsules Review:

Doctor here with IBS-D. I've had great success with this product. After taking it for the first time, I had my first regular BM in many, many months the following day. Although I've also found Heather's Tummy Tamers to be effective, these appear to have a better enteric coating. I get no minty reflux at all if eaten on an empty stomach and with moderate amounts of water. Although the cost is more than Heather's, I'm willing to spend extra to prevent reflux. For those who are curious, the reflux is caused by peppermint oil's ability to relax smooth muscles. The smooth muscle that lines the inside of the gut contracts excessively, violently, or irregularly when someone has IBS. But what stops reflux is the gastroesophageal sphincter, which is likewise a smooth muscle. Reflux results from relaxing it with peppermint. Enteric coatings function by resisting dissolution in an acidic setting, such as your stomach. However, if you eat or drink while the peppermint capsule is in your stomach, you will have reflux because the coating will dissolve. Take your enteric-coated peppermint, whether it's this brand or Heather's, 30 to 60 minutes to an hour before dining. Use just enough water to ensure that you get the recommended dosage. When used to treat IBS, peppermint oil has a very low "number needed to treat"—about 2.5. In other words, 2 out of every 5 patients who receive peppermint oil treatment will benefit. Although that may not sound like a good figure, in pharmacology it is a very good NNT. Contrast this with something like Xifaxan, which has an NNT of 11 and costs $900–1,800 per month, and it becomes clear that peppermint oil is a winner. For comparison, the NNT for prescription antispasmodics like Bentyl and Levsin is in the range of 3–7, which is also quite good. And from a cost/side effect/NNT combination perspective, it's nearly impossible to top with a low cost and low side effect profile.Try using peppermint oil. If you don't have any reflux issues, try Heather's first because it's much less expensive. IBS is complex in its causes. If peppermint oil doesn't work for you, your issue may not be with gastrointestinal hyper- or dismotility; instead, you should try a FODMAP diet, prebiotics, probiotics, and exercise (that one is for everyone no matter what, of course). If it even slightly aids, you will still require something else. And for some fortunate people, this will be all they require.

Anti-Diarrheal 2MG 200 Caplets by SDA Labs Review:

Because of my IBS, I go through a lot of Imodium replacement items. I haven't previously tried this particular brand. The packaging was consistent with that of other high-quality goods, in my opinion. The cap is secure from children and simple to grip and remove. I like that the child-resistant cap is secure while still being simple to open. The product itself works just as well as Imodium does while costing a lot less.

Berkley Jensen Anti-Diarrheal Medicine Loperamide Hydrochloride Tablets 2 mg 192 Capletsper Order Review:

Nowadays, finding the larger lopermaide bottles is nearly impossible, especially since Wal-Mart no longer stocks bottles bigger than 48ct in their stores. If you're wanting to purchase more than 48ct at once, these BJ brand ones are virtually identical to the Equate brand, and you won't find a better price. Purchase before they are also gone!

Imodium Multi-Symptom Relief, 60 Count Review:

These significantly aid in controlling my "episodes" as someone with IBS-D and Crohn's disease and get me closer to leading a relatively normal life. Although they don't halt the diarrhoea, they do lessen its frequency and urgency. We'll have to wait and see if I need these in the future since I don't take any further Crohn's medications, but they do assist, and I think the multi-symptom is better than the ordinary ones.

GeriCare 381-96-GCP Anti-Diarrheal, Bottle of 96 Caplets Review:

Many people say that they dissolve in the mouth. They are efficient and reasonably priced, so that might happen. This is the best price because the cost has risen to the roof as a result of addicts seeking a high.

Pepto Bismol Chewable Tablets for Nausea, Heartburn, Indigestion, Upset Stomach, and Diarrhea Relief, Original Flavor 48 ct Review:

Many of us occasionally require immediate relief from stomach aches. An old (very old) standby can help in this situation. That solace comes from Pepto-Bismal Original for us. I use it to cover the aftertastes from the atrial fibrillation medications I take, and shortly after using Pepto (old folks like us, use the abbreviated, familiar usage). There is Pepto and occasionally there are other gassy symptoms. It's so convenient to have a ready supply of "fixers" on hand.

Imodium A-D Diarrhea Relief Caplets, Loperamide Hydrochloride Anti-Diarrheal Medicine, 48 ct., 48 Count Review:

Without this item, my family would be in terrible shape. How shall I put it? We are anxious road-trippers. Your stomach occasionally feels queasy, disturbed, and uncomfortably tingling when it ordinarily wouldn't.When I boarded an aircraft for the first time outside of the country, I gave this a try (to Guatemala on a business trip). At the time, my employer made a covert suggestion for me to get some. The entire trip, my tummy didn't flip over once. Since then, I've used it.Then, my husband embarked on his first work trip, and he travels with more frequent stomach upsets than I do. He experienced the same results. The product did not result in cramps or constipation (something I worried about the first time that I tried it). We didn't experience any travel-related gastrointestinal problems, and it really appeared to prevent cramps.

Anti-Diarrheal 2MG 96 Caplets by SDA Labs Review:

Just over a day ago, I took my first tablet without having a glass of water nearby. Naturally, it disintegrated in my mouth and had little flavor, but it was my problem. It has shown to be remarkably efficient thus far and economical as well. And Bezos continues to hit a home run with Amazon's one-day shipping. Coco views it in that way!!!

Imodium A-D Anti-Diarrheal Softgels with Loperamide Hydrochloride, Diarrhea Relief Medicine, 24 ct. Review:

These soft gels work as intended. Simply peel back and pop out to release the blister pack, in my opinion. would be more practical if it came in a bottle on its own. And why can I only have four at most per day when I need more after radiation therapy?
