Update:They are made of strong plastic. more heavier than the Sterlites I've previously received. Additionally, the lids are thicker, and they naturally have the excellent foam gasket. Despite paying so close attention to every last detail, the handles—a straightforward but crucial component—were overlooked. Despite how robust things are, the handles are secured using regular, inexpensive, tiny pegs that are prone to breaking.It is hardly larger than a nub, making it simple to knock the handle off. The handle came off when I simply bumped it with my hand while reaching around. I attempted to reattach it, but I was unsuccessful since the tiny nub shattered. I'm deducting a star since it's pointless.———I'm so happy I found these. Because I have to be able to see what's inside and because we're both getting older and don't want to be carrying boxes around and going through them, I have to store everything in clear storage boxes.We utilize a lot of things in a variety of ways because we are mild preppers as well because we live in the mountains and frequently have power outages or snowstorms. When I want to write an expiration date for the contents inside some of them, I do use a Sharpie right on them, and it works just well.Although I also purchased a 4-pack of the 44q size, which has also been useful, this 2-size bundle was excellent.These buckets are by far the most durable and have the best lids out of all the clear storage containers I've used, and I've tested a LOT of various kinds. Additionally, these are the only ones that I've ever seen with a foam gasket to aid in keeping bugs and dust out. They are slightly heavier at first because they are thicker than any other I've acquired, but I believe it is a good thing. The lid latches are strong, reliable snaps that don't easily pop off like some others.I'll provide an update if any durability problems arise, but right now I'm quite happy with them.

When these storage cubes were delivered in the mail, I was pleasantly surprised by their high caliber. You have some flexibility in how you set up the interior and the exterior fabric has a pleasant feel to it. As the lid flaps open separately, they are obviously made to be divided down the middle, but you can velcro the divider so you can easily lay it flat if you'd prefer to have one large space inside. The handles are made of a strong, supple faux leather. I use the two grey ones for winter clothing, the cream one for fall clothing, and the pink one for clothing that doesn't fit right now or that I'm thinking about giving away. They look so much more organized and fit perfectly on the top shelf of my closet. Since these are made of fabric, I was also a little concerned that they wouldn't stack well, but when I gave it a try, I had no issues.

Due to the price, I was apprehensive to purchase them, however they are more stronger, clearer, and the 4 clamps are heavy quality. Additionally, they are waterproof. in contrast to Sterlite containers? Sterlite is weak. adore them

The school suggested these to make moving into the dorms easier. Two boxes are much more affordable and carry much more than luggage, resulting in fewer overall trips between the car and the room. These two boxes essentially contained everything a freshman would need and forced us to consider anything that did not fit, so they were also somewhat self-limiting. In the end, my son was able to pack everything he required, along with a carry-on-sized rolling suitcase for extended weekends at home, into these two boxes. By the way, there is no mistaking the size of these boxes.One box had to go outside on the hitch-mounted luggage carrier because we could only fit one in the back of the mid-sized SUV. Although they are too large to fit side by side on one carrier, they fit perfectly width wise on the (length?) of the carrier and still allow (just) the hatch to open normally without blocking the license plate or the rear lights. It also leaves room sideways for more items to be placed on the carrier.They nest together perfectly, but even so, they are still too big to leave in the dorm room. Unless the dorm has storage outside the room, prepare to bring them home with you.Overall, I think the school made a wise decision and am pleased with these. Will need to find a place to keep them until he returns home the following summer, but his empty bedroom should be enough, right?

These outperform STERILITE goods in quality. These have stronger plastic and hinged lids that are significantly more durable. These can be stacked; each box weighs about 30 pounds. Stacks roughly three high. The lower box top could crack at a higher elevation. Stacking SteriLIte products results in easy cracking.Excellent for keeping items in your garage or basement. It can withstand temperatures beyond 90 °F and brief spells below zero in the garage. Be careful. Avoid dropping them on the garage floor since the plastic becomes brittle in cold weather. You can extend their lifespan by being more kind over the winter.Strongly advise these. Can hold a number of things, including essential documents that you wish to keep for seven years in case an IRS audit requires them, etc (bills, tax filings, investment buy and sell histories, etc). can also be utilized to keep liquids, supplies for painting and maintaining cars, tools, DVDs, wires, games, and toys. To properly organize your belongings, purchase some stick on large adhesive labels (from Amazon) and label your boxes.I've used these kinds of storage bins for more than 20 years.It's a good idea to keep your emergency gear for travel in the trunk of your car, such as safety vests, flares, flashlights, first aid kits, tools, emergency blankets, gloves, and ice scrapers (all available on Amazon)

This is my second order of these storage boxes. I love the way the hinge and closing operate. The price is very good for the number and size of the containers that you get. I use them for the kids toys, especially the toddlers bigger toys with lots of small parts. He gets so upset when he cannot find all of the pieces to his toys. This makes it easy for him to find which toy he wants to play with and easy to put them away when he's done so the little pieces don't get lost.I use them for my sewing fabrics and trims. I sew a lot of costumes and it is nice to be able to go right to the box I want without having to sort through a lot of boxes. They hold a good deal and you can stack them in the closet.I highly recommend.

These are ideal for my closets' overhead storage. The strengthened lids are my favorite part. I can easily remove the black latches if I don't want to latch them. They stack well because the bottom tapers down, and the feet fit on the lid of the lower box to provide stability. In response to customer feedback, the seller padded their box and placed it inside of another box for shipping protection. Mine arrived in excellent shape.

I bought these totes to store my sons baby clothes in. I intentionally bought a smaller size to save on space and to help keep only what was necessary. However, the 12 Quart tote was still just a little too small for that purpose. In hindsight, I wish I would have gotten the 19 Quart and will probably do so in the future as he continues to outgrow clothes. Even with the smaller ones I was able to fit about 10-15 shirts, 3-4 sleepers, and 4-5 pair of pants in each of these 12 Quart totes.The quality of these seem really good so far. All arrived in perfect condition and seemed fairly sturdy. Considering these won't be used heavily I can't complain at all about them. Decent price considering you get 6 containers with lids. I do wish the next size up (19 Quarts) wasn't double the price of these.ETA: I ended up returning the 12-quart totes because they were a little too small. I really would have loved to get the 19-quart but I really don't understand why there's such a price difference between the three sizes. Because the 30-quart is so close in price as the 19 I bought them because I didn't want to risk having something too small again but they 30 quart is really too big for what I wanted. I wish there was a better comparison picture between the sizes. The pictures included in my review shows the contents of the 12-quart completely full and then those same contents transferred to the 30-quart.
