Best Vacuum Attachments in 2022

Last update: November 14, 2022

Are all vacuum attachments the same size?

No, all vacuum attachments are not the same size. The size of the attachment depends on the size of the vacuum.

Does a longer vacuum hose reduce suction?

A longer vacuum hose will not reduce suction. The suction is created by the vacuum motor and is not affected by the length of the hose. The only time the length of the hose would affect suction is if the hose is kinked or blocked, which would reduce the flow of air and therefore the suction.

Does a smaller hose increase suction?

A smaller hose does not necessarily mean more suction. The size of the hose determines the amount of water that can flow through it, not the amount of suction. Suction is created by the pump, not the size of the hose.

How do I get the most out of my vacuum?

To get the most out of your vacuum, you need to use it correctly. First, make sure that the vacuum is the right size for your home. Second, vacuum regularly to keep your floors clean and free of dirt and dust. Third, empty the vacuum bag or canister when it is full to avoid overworking the vacuum. Finally, follow the manufacturer's instructions for maintenance and care to keep your vacuum working properly.

isinlive Accessory Kit for eufy RoboVac 11S RoboVac 30 RoboVac 30C RoboVac 15C RoboVac 12 RoboVac 35C Replacement Parts, 17 Pack (8 Filters + 6 Side Brushes + 2 Primary Filters + 1 Rolling Brush) Review:

The price is very reasonable for this. I want to keep my beloved Eufy vacuum robot in good condition because I love him. I have a few extra sets to swap out for the dirty ones until I can clean the others because these filters and brushes need to be maintained clean. Another aspect of my eufy that I adore is how simple they are to replace and clean. I'll undoubtedly purchase another pair of these when I need additional replacement parts!

iRobot Authentic Replacement Parts- Roomba e and i Series Replenishment Kit, (3 High-Efficiency Filters, 3 Edge-Sweeping Brushes, and 1 Set of Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes) Review:

These items were appropriate for the two IRoombas that my wife bought for my sons. I must admit that one sold his items online while the other doesn't utilise them and won't pick up their litter. These products would have worked out beautifully, I'm sure.

Dyson V11 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, Purple Review:

UPDATED: Dyson provides excellent customer service! It has to be the greatest I've ever had. As they don't want to take the chance that the engineering will be off if I use my V11 without the spacer/disc, they are sending me a replacement unit. They are informing their engineers about this problem so they can investigate it. In the meantime, I've been vacuuming nonstop after beach days and getting rid of the sand in the house so thoroughly that it feels good to walk on the hard woods. I adore this vacuum; it's so much fun to use. I've also found that the top of the machine can rest on counters with some stability while I'm doing touch-ups, so if I don't have the home base hanger available, I do have that option, though I probably wouldn't risk it if there are children or dogs around.First review: Originally, I really wanted to wait to submit my review so that I could use it more, but after reading other reviews for hints, I saw this is a persistent problem, so I felt the need to warn others.I read the instructions before opening the box, including the following:RECEIVING/UNBOXING NOTES: * Charge for 4.5 hours or till 100%* There is a red toggle switch in the front of the cleaner head. Put the switch's center position. This environment is perfect for regular cleanings to remove bigger debris and small dust.I was really eager to use this vacuum after letting it charge over night because I've only ever used a Dyson product—my hair dryer, which I absolutely adore—so far. When I first turned it on, I was amazed at how the various modes automatically adjusted to the situation. The boost mode is particularly effective at removing fine sand that gets tracked inside our beach house. I vacuumed a room and then saw the brush heads weren't spinning. As another reviewer noted, I had trouble putting the brush head sheath back on. I didn't push it, but I kept trying to get it to go back and have the end piece be flush so I could screw the coin screw part back on. I'm not sure if they ever spun at all, so I took apart the brush head as instructed in the manual. I have figured it out, but I still can't get the brush heads to spin. When I called Dyson after searching the company's website for troubleshooting advice and finding none, the customer support representative offered to call me back and did so within a minute. As the woman began to lead me through the processes of troubleshooting, I instantly noticed that a little, fragile-looking dark gray plastic disc or ring was broken at the base of the shaft where the torque head cleaning head sheath slides onto. When I explained that I needed to fetch a screwdriver, the customer support representative tried to recommend that I use one, but it had a flat head that was only used to gently flip the coin screw cap. She did promise to send a brand-new cleaning head right away. I was disappointed that I couldn't play with my new device because even without the brush heads whirling, it still functioned pretty darn well! I chose to use the little car/upholstery head to vacuum, and I discovered that it worked incredibly well in stairs and tight spots. While waiting, I read other reviews to see what they had to say because I kind of felt awful that maybe I had done something to ruin this wonderful piece of technology! When I discovered that others had already encountered the same problem, I felt justified. Since customer support didn't advise returning the cleaning head, I decided to test it after hearing that someone had removed the broken bits of the disc/ring. Sure enough, after extracting with pliers, the vac is now operating normally. NOTE: Although I'm not sure if doing this will nullify the guarantee, I still advise calling Dyson and alerting them to the fact that this is a known issue and that this tiny disc/ring is to blame. The disc/ring/spacer object had a recycle symbol on it, but I'm not sure if that's a clue. Perhaps this indicates that before being shipped to customers, this item should be removed and disposed of in recycling. Thus, I now have two ideas: Is this ring/disc necessary for operation, and will running it without it destroy the motor, as another reviewer asked? Second, is it possible that this is a component that is intended to be removed and shipped? Doesn't seem right, but I'm curious because the vacuum runs quite well without it.The review would have been four stars if the aforementioned problem hadn't arisen. I adore the vacuum's incredible suction, which flawlessly took up Australian dog fur and beach home sand on boost mode. Right now, the hardwood floors are immaculate! I adore how the LCD screen informs me of the mode and battery life. I adore how simple it is to use, and even for someone my size, the weight is manageable. I didn't like that there was no self-standing option, but you can't have everything—I wouldn't want this vacuum to tip over if I had to stop for a moment. In order to move where I set the base charger, I would also like to have the option of a charging cradle. The small closet space in my home lacks power, and I don't want to leave the charging bracket in plain view. Others might not find this to be a problem, but bear in mind that you'll need a location close to an electrical outlet. For the time being, I just remove the motor from the head and vacuum stick when charging so I can be sure it won't fall or trip anyone who is lying on the ground.

For ORECK XL Vacuums BEST Roller (1 brush & 3 belts) Review:

I nearly took my 12-year-old Oreck XL (excellent vacuum) to a vacuum repair shop before deciding to take it apart and try my hand at it. It ended up being rather simple to identify the issue. The roller was burning up belts because there was so much hair, lint, and string stuck in the "turn-y" bits that it was unable to turn at all. I did everything I could to clean it, but it still wasn't turning as readily as it should. After so many years, I'm sure the lubrication in the turny pieces was gone, and there was probably more items caught in there that I couldn't reach. My vacuum works like new when I ordered it, snapped it into place, replaced the belt, and I actually forgot how good it was before because it had probably been operating below par for a few years. Some people have complained that Oreck didn't produce a roller that could have avoided this issue altogether, but in my opinion, $12 for a replacement part after more than ten years of consistent use is a tiny amount to pay to maintain my vacuum in good operating order. I'm content.

Fullclean Flexible Extension Hose Attachment for Dyson V8 V7 V10 V11 Absolute Animal Trigger Motorhead Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Accessories Review:

This is a fantastic item. It feels and looks high-end. There are strong links. Compared to a rigid wand extension, it makes using the handheld Dysons so much simpler. I would suggest this product to anyone who owns a compatible model, but be careful and take a close look at all the photographs because some older Dyson machines (those with the white/clear rocker buttons as opposed to the red buttons pictured) do not fit. We are knowledgeable because we have two (one older and one newer).Fast (prime) shipment with hassle-free packaging! Thank you; I'll buy again.

Amyehouse Replacement Parts Kit Bristle Brush & Flexible Beater Brush & Aero Vac Filter & Armed-3 Side Brush for iRobot Roomba 600 Series 595 610 614 620 630 650 660 671 680 690 Vacuum Review:

This is what I ordered for my Roomba 671. The old and new brushes both appeared to function and fit exactly the same. Unfortunately, when we tried to replace the brush by popping it off, the screw holding the new one in place wouldn't budge. Poor manufacturing was not the fault of the item (ROOMBAS). Anyway, to hold the nail in place, we ultimately just used some super glue. The challenge will be figuring out what to do the next time the brush needs to be replaced, lol. Anyway, I would highly suggest this and would place another order if I ever needed new brushes.

Accessory for Irobot Roomba 600 610 620 650 Series Vacuum Cleaner Replacement Part Kit - Includes 3 Pack Filter, Side Brush, and 1 Pack Bristle Brush Review:

These attachment kits came in two sets for us—one for our Roomba and the other for the Roomba 671 we bought for our son on Prime Day. We changed our Roomba's main brush, flexible brush, edge cleaning brush, and filter. Installing the pieces wasn't difficult. Since we replaced these components with those from the Accessory kit, our Roomba cleans more thoroughly. More dirt is gathered, and the carpet becomes fluffier. Our tiny Roomba has recovered!Edited: Since my reply to a customer comment won't post, I'll just say it here:Yes! This is an excellent kit, and the components suit the 671 series, which is comparable to our 630 model but has improved features, such as communication to Alexa through phone AP or the Dot to start, schedule, or get information about it. Once, when our son asked Alexa where it was, "she" responded, "It's charging on the docking station," The 671 also has a dirt detector (ability to circle on a dirty spot after detecting the need). The 671 does not have this, according to one review on a website, although the critic was mistaken. You can set a cleaning appointment by time and date. Additionally, the AP may inform users of the number of cycles used to detect filth, the beginning and end times of cleaning, and the battery life status while in operation. This accessory kit is also very cost-effective. Our 630 model, which we bought in July 2014, is still functional (especially since we added the replacement parts from this accessory kit). I don't know anything about the 700's to 900's models, but I can guarantee you that the 600's are amazing and that if you have a Roomba 671 or intend to buy one, it makes sense to get one of these accessory kits.

Dryer Vent Cleaner Kit Vacuum Hose Attachment Brush Lint Remover Power Washer and Dryer Vent Vacuum Hose Review:

Towels were drying in my dryer in multiple cycles. I was able to reach the major vent regions but not the lint trap. I bought this thing. I was able to say a lot. The tube's folding during packing posed a small problem. I shoved it down in there and it seemed to have a mind of its own. I was able to get around it though. The six screws keeping the lint trap in place were removed. I wouldn't repeat that action. It didn't really help, and I was convinced I would never be able to get it back on. The product is described in other reviews as being nothing more than a tube and a nozzle. That is true, and it probably didn't cost much to make. However, you do pay for the concept. My vacuum hose and the cone had a perfect fit. I'm not aware of any alternative strategy to get this cleaned up. The brushes you can purchase simply break the objects. I desired to remove it. This pleased me, and I would suggest buying it.

Dyson Articulating Hard Floor Tool Review:

I'm happy with my purchase of the Dyson Articulating Hard Floor Tool from Amazon. To use with my brand-new Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Canister Animal (such a mouthful! ), I purchased it. The vacuum cleaner tool is designed for older models with the silver clip. The silver-to-red converter that came with my new vacuum, however, fits this tool wonderfully. An adapter for even older Dyson vacuums is included with the equipment.Except for the bathrooms, which have tile floors, my four-bedroom home has hardwood floors throughout. They're probably accurate when they state the vacuum's included turbine head is fantastic for wood flooring. I can't get over the thought that a spinning brunch will leave little dings in the wood, though. In addition, I can reach deeper under furniture with this tool than I can with a power head. This instrument is supple and moves over the wood with ease. You don't have to use a lot of energy to move it around because it is light. I can reach into tight spaces since it spins. I can go beneath the sofa far and wide with the canister wand. In essence, it takes the place of a dust mop, which is why I initially purchased the vacuum.According to some reviews I've read, the brushes get clogged with hair. Even though I have two shedding terriers, I never experienced that issue. It will accumulate some hair, just as all brushes. I simply carry on as I have for every vacuum I have ever used. I vacuum out hair that gets caught in the brush.I've read reviews from people who feel that the vacuum should have included this instrument. I wholeheartedly concur with that. A tool bag ought to have been included with the vacuum, but that is an other matter. Although I assume Dyson believes the turbo head is sufficient, I believe the soft brush head to be the ideal addition to the Dyson canister.
