replaced the fragile, plastic frame that came from the dealership by purchasing a new one. Installation was simple and took no more than a minute.I discovered that it was simpler to begin at a corner and work my way along the matching long edge while inserting the license plate into the silicone frame. Although my plate's edges are sharp, installation did not cause any damage to the silicone. It took me a moment to recognize the numerous tiny drainage openings in the frame intended for the bottom border of the plate and to position the frame appropriately. The plate is only slightly elevated by the small frame (see second photo).I wish the frame had a slighter overlap on the edge of the license plate than the approximately 3/16" that it has. Even though the license plate seemed slightly loose inside the frame at first, it felt snugger after the bolts were tightened, and I am satisfied with the hold overall. The frame fits flush against the paint with just two bolts, so there are no more scratches!At this point, I am unable to remark on the product's longer longevity.

These glasses are reasonably priced. Despite being made of stainless steel with a light gauge, they are not weak. Since they are purely decorative and have no structural value, they are much more durable than the majority of the factory trim on your automobile. I too have heard complaints about the fasteners, but given the price, it is not a significant enough concern to lower the item's rating. Four screws are included, each with a glossy push-on cap. As the frame attaches to the plate at one edge with stamped hooks and just with screws at the other, that is sufficient to install both frames. However, simply remounting the frames and plates with four identical screws apiece is insufficient. I went to the neighborhood hardware store and bought eight SS security screws and washers because I didn't like the screws and covers that came with the frames or the zinc-plated hex-head screws that the dealer had used anyway. That was slightly more expensive than the frames by themselves, but it looks and feels far better. Using the four provided at one end and four additional at the other would be a less expensive option. The frames are incredibly polished, plain, and stylish.The glossy grass that the car is parked on is reflected in the pattern of the picture frames.

My spouse wanted a new plate, so I purchased him this one. This set of Chicago Bears dishes I discovered is ideal. He is from there and he likes Da Bears. It looks really good on his FJ Cruiser after we mounted it there. There is constantly heat and sun where we reside in Florida. This plate hasn't yet faded or rusted. It appears to be nicely constructed, made of strong metal. I'll return to update this review if anything with this plate changes, such as fading or rusting, but so far, so good.

A front license plate holder was not standard equipment for my Jeep Wrangler. I looked at this one and was astonished by how sturdy it is considering where it mounts on the car. It is plastic, of course, but it is not made of the brittle material that many are. It is just as flexible as the plastic bumpers found on the majority of automobiles, which prefer to flex with the bumper rather than cracking if made of fragile plastic or bending if made of metal. Screws are snugly secured, and the plate is immovable. Have a decent sense of when to quit, but only just. If you comprehend material density and torque, they won't strip. adore it Let me now address a few issues I noticed in other reviews.Yes, two plastic screws and screw caps are included. They are indeed useless. I just covered my current screws in silver nail polish.-Yes, the "crystals" are actually tiny bubbles, yet every rhinestone is the same. These merely lack facets, but they still reflect light. They were adhered on top of silver glitter, which adds to the brilliance.People have complained that the crystals come off, so I sprayed rustoleum on mine to keep them in place, prevent rust, increase durability, and add luster. I believe it to be excellent value. One costing $27 in the auto parts store and $9 at Walmart had a single strip of stones. Enjoy!

The only person who has ever ordered these specific frames without realizing that they are for two plates rather than a two-piece frame for one plate is probably me. You will only ever notice that it is "2-pieces" and not exactly that it will take care of both your front and rear plates, no matter how many times you read the description, in which case I don't care.However, I figured the description seemed decent enough to order for just my cracked front plate made of cheap plastic (due to the auto vehicle wash), and if it showed out to be good, I might order it for the rear plate as well. Imagine my joy when I realized (huge duh!) that it was for two plates when they finally came.These are well-built, have a gorgeous finish over stainless steel that won't corrode, and come with all the necessary fasteners, washers, and snap-on cover covers. What else is there to ask for?If the machine-threaded bolts that are included don't function, don't worry; whatever fasteners you were using before (screws, bolts, nails, wire, crazy glue), they should still function now. For my own installation, I had to use the same pointed screws that I had already been using for the front soft bumper, but I could use the supplied bolts for the rear machine-threaded mounting. Huge Woop! Who cares? Like they did on mine, the provided washers and cover caps are compatible with the majority of fasteners. So what if they don't? Both previously and currently, you lacked them.I now have two extra bolts for my drawer of various fasteners as well as two really good license plate frames, all of which have beautiful black snap covers over the fastener heads.
