I bought this to top off my new 2018 Ram 1500 Hemi's coolant reservoir. It arrived from the factory low, which is not a big concern because I like to have some on hand. FCA must do a better job of correctly citing this information from the owner's guide. The Mopar 10 years or 150,000 mile OAT coolant is mentioned in my handbook, which is accurate, however it also refers to MS.90032, which is not mentioned on this container or any other Mopar coolant container that I could locate. Instead, MS-12106 is listed in this container. Additionally, the bottle refers to it as Organic Acid Technology whereas my manual refers to it as Organic Additive Technology. To be sure this was the appropriate information, I had to do a little research. It shouldn't be this difficult. First, all MS numbers and part numbers from the owner's handbook to the container should coincide, and OAT should stand for the same thing WORD FOR WORD. The owner's manuals' tiny variations with OAT part numbers and MS references from 2013 to the present only add to the confusion. It's strange, I know, but that's what I read while conducting research. This substance can appear pink, orange, red, or purple depending on the temperature and the color of the container it's in. In essence, avoid combining OAT with HOAT. Check what your manual specifies and use a coolant that is compatible.

Just about 2 litres of coolant are required by the cooling system of the E92 335i. One gallon of this coolant, when combined 50/50 with distilled water as recommended by BMW, completely fills a cooling system that is empty, with a little room to spare. Before driving, make sure to perform the proper fill and bleed procedure: Remove the expansion tank's cap and bleed screw, fill the tank until coolant flows freely from the bleed hole, then tighten the cap and bleed screw. Next, activate the automatic bleeding process by performing the following steps: Connect a 10A battery charger to the jump start terminals in the engine compartment, turn the ignition on without applying the brake or clutch (to prevent the engine from stalling), and then press the gas pedal. The bleeding process is then finished after 12 minutes of electrical water pump cycling. Check sure the battery charger is securely connected before simply restarting the process by turning on the ignition and depressing the gas pedal once more if the ignition goes out soon after beginning. After that, check the coolant level.

I cleaned the coolant system in my Tacoma and flushed it with distilled water to remove any minerals that might have left deposits. The red and blue Zerex are nearly identical. The best price is also what the owners manual specifically recommends. Truck needs a flush and a clean with 100,000 km. HOWEVER, Amazon's packaging is the worst yet! A plastic air bag? Really!! Furthermore, how did you imagine that would safeguard 4 gallons of antifreeze? I wasn't certain if this item was actually effective. According to other evaluations I read, the temperature gauge didn't decrease at all. This is as a result of the thermostat's necessary adjustments. So it's challenging to determine whether it operates with a thermostat in place. A few weeks ago, I temporarily removed my car's thermostat in order to clean the engine coolant system. My water was finally keeping clean after thoroughly cleansing the system every weekend for two months. And I was simply using water from a standard garden hose. With simply water, the temperature kept rather cold.The cooling system was then once more drained and refilled, but this time I added wetter water. Now, compared to earlier, the engine coolant temperature remains significantly lower. The thermometer hardly even registers any increase. This means that it absolutely works. Of course, I'll install the thermostat again soon, but in the meanwhile, it's interesting to see what the cooling system is capable of.

Let me begin by mentioning that I have owned my camper for five seasons and have taken it to the neighborhood dealer every time, paying exorbitant prices. I finally realized that I could do this myself and save some money, so I started looking for a solution. My go-to source for solutions is Amazon, where I discovered the Camco RV Readiness Kit. It has all the essentials, plus one thing I didn't thought I needed but ended up using. Since the piping in my Rockwood Model 150 Pop Up camper is limited, I decided against using the blowout plug and instead simply pushed the water out with the anti-freeze solution. I was very relieved to discover that it was non-toxic since it got all the way to the driveway as I switched the included pump from one bottle to the next. Two and a half bottles were used to fill my system, with the remaining bottle being used to fill the fresh water holding tank. This was more than enough because I also have to winterize a shower, a toilet, and a holding tank. Before using the accompanying door bracing, I had never considered leaving the fridge door open.
