Yes, alcohol can damage watch. Alcohol is a solvent and can dissolve the lubricants that keep watch parts moving smoothly. This can cause watch to malfunction.
Yes, you can use isopropyl alcohol to clean your watch. Just apply a small amount to a soft cloth and gently wipe the watch clean. Be sure to avoid getting any moisture inside the watch.
If your watch's glass is foggy, there are a few things you can try to remove the moisture. One is to simply wipe the glass with a soft, dry cloth. If that doesn't work, you can try using a hairdryer on the lowest setting. Hold it about six inches away from the glass and make sure not to overheat the watch. Another option is to place the watch in a container of uncooked rice. The rice will absorb the moisture from the watch. Just be sure to check on the watch periodically to make sure it's not getting too hot
A watch glass is a piece of laboratory equipment made from glass. It is used as a container, cover or weighing dish. The most common type of watch glass is circular and flat, with a diameter of about 10–18 cm. Watch glasses vary in thickness, with thicker glasses being more durable.

What I desired exactly. When steeping loose leaf tea to keep it hot, I use them to cover my teacup. The glass is so hot after 4 minutes of steeping tea in water that was initially 212 F that you would drop it if you attempted to pick it up with bare hands. I haven't emphasized it more than that, and for now, I don't intend to.Sunday's order arrived on Friday. They were really carefully packed. The set was wrapped really tightly in infinite special packing paper, and there aren't any scratches, chips, or other physical damage-related flaws that I can identify, except for the fact that they were four in a plastic bag without any paper in between them. Those puppies were tightly packed. I bought 4 for a total of $23.75 and paid $3.60 each item.It is possible to see through the glass. With the glass 10 to 12 inches away from the candy, I can see the ingredients on my candy wrappers, and the print is still pretty readable. The print is really obvious when the glass is a few inches away from the candy. However, neither the glass was polished for optics nor was it intended for that. There are some ripples in the glass, mostly in the middle. Anything in a beaker will be easily visible in detail through them.Only the concave side of the glass has relief print that reads "PYREX" (with a circled R after it) about 1 cm from the edge. The word measures approximately 18 by 3 mm, or 3 mm from the top to the bottom of the E. It has no appreciable impact on visibility. The edges are extremely polished and honed to a curve (almost a perfect semicircle). Although the watch glass is thicker than the lip of a standard drinking glass, they feel similar to the rim of a high-quality drinking glass. The watch glass seems quite homogeneous and is 2 mm thick. It seems quite solid. I tested my strength by dropping from 12 inches onto a face towel-covered wooden table. It bounced after landing on the convex side. I didn't test it, but it appears like you could drop it six inches onto a formica surface. The edges are 12 mm off the table when you lay it on a surface with the convex side up.

It is near enough to the specified diameter at 152mm. Although it is transparent and faultless in the centre, the periphery has several chips and may benefit from more careful machining and/or fire polishing. Although I haven't had a chance to get them extremely hot or cold yet, the lack of a good edge raises questions about safety and durability at high and low service temperatures.

I bought these since they were worth a look at less than a $1 per watch glass. However, these are excellent! They do the same function as hardware that costs many times more money. Mine arrived undamaged and in great working order. I didn't observe any glass flaws, and they can be mistreated just like their more costly counterparts. They could be a little thinner than you're used to, but as long as you handle them gently, everything will be OK. I unquestionably advise these. You really can't go wrong at 76 cents per piece.

For fermenting, I purchased these to suit 20 oz. Ball wide mouth jars. good fit A little delicate, but it accomplishes my goal with care. They are placed on top of the tightly packed vegetables, and I gently press down until liquid covers them. Additionally fits well on a 500ml beaker. Press on one side with your index finger, tip up, and grip with your thumb to remove.

A watch crystal is the clear cover that protects the watch face. It is also called a watch glass.
There are three types of glassware used in the lab: beakers, flasks, and test tubes. Beakers are used to hold liquids and are usually made of glass or plastic. Flasks are used to hold chemicals and are usually made of glass or metal. Test tubes are used to hold small amounts of liquids and are usually made of glass.
There are four types of glassware: tumblers, stemmed glasses, cordials, and flutes. Tumblers are the most common type of glassware and are used for everything from water to whiskey. Stemmed glasses are used for wine, martinis, and other mixed drinks. Cordials are small, intimate glasses used for liqueurs and after-dinner drinks. Flutes are tall, slender glasses used for champagne and other sparkling wines.
There are many types of watch glass, the most common being mineral glass, sapphire crystal, and acrylic. Mineral glass is the most scratch resistant but can still be scratched with a hard object. Sapphire crystal is the second most scratch resistant and is also shatter resistant. Acrylic is the least scratch resistant but is the most shatter resistant.
The glasses in a lab are called safety glasses. They are made to protect your eyes from chemicals and other substances that could cause harm.
Watch glass are made of different materials depending on the intended purpose. For example, those used for windows in watches are generally made of a highly durable and scratch-resistant material such as sapphire or synthetic sapphire.
