These adhesive mats are simple to use and quite effective. They work well to remove dirt and debris from the bottoms of your shoes. They also have a long lifespan. I have been entering and exiting my garage without experiencing any loss of stickiness on even the first mat. There are numerous size possibilities for this item, so let me start by noting that I purchased the 18 by 30 inch with. thickness of 0.8 inches.I don't use much. In reality, I'm trying my hand at fixing electronics for the first time, and I have two phones I want to fix. I immediately wanted to write a review because I discovered a fault after receiving this today.First, the positive aspects.It has a decent thickness. It seems sturdy, lays down sufficiently well, and the two layer design makes it appear useful based on what I would anticipate from such a mat.The size is also excellent. If you are using it to repair computers, I can only assume you need a larger container. I enjoy having a lot of room, so this size is ideal for phone repairs. I wouldn't alter my size.A wrist strap and wire to attach the mat to a ground, or a screw in your electrical outlet, are also included.Unless I am missing something, the terrible news now. I forgot what kind of clip it uses is called, but it has metal parts on either top end of the mat where you may attach the grounding wire. Since the clip doesn't snap or screw on, it isn't really a clip. Despite the fact that they appear to be made to fit one within the other, it doesn't even rest on it since the weight of the wire rolls the clip off of the metal piece.It seems strange, and I have to weigh down the clip to keep it in place. Disappointing. However, as a beginner, I didn't want to spend a lot of money, and I wasn't sure if other mats with a similar price point performed better.I don't mind the solution of adding weight to it, but be mindful of this problem.

At the top of the stairs in my house, there is a wall-to-wall dark burgundy carpet. My basement is unfinished. My handyman instructed me to get these mats so that the cement or building dust would stick to them when someone walked up from the basement to the first floor and not leave tracks on my carpeting at the top of the stairs. Although there are instructions, I was unable to figure out how to secure the mat to the floor. The mat is shown here after it has been used. Each pad contains 30 sheets, and when a sheet becomes too dirty, the top sheet may be taken off to reveal a fresh adhesive surface. The package includes 4 mats, each with 30 sheets. To ensure that the mats keep their ideal shape, they must be stored FLAT. Definitely met MY needs. It would undoubtedly benefit pet owners as well.

The fact that these are as blue as the image suggests is the only negative. A home shouldn't have any blue. Now that I have these, I can store the pad in a closet, use it anytime I want (daily), and clean the tires in three minutes or less to stop the buildup. To prevent sawdust from my shoes from entering the rest of the home, I place these in the entrance to my basement workshop. I can't think of another way to handle that situation. Although you could spend a lot of money on a custom tray if you like, I use double adhesive carpet tape to secure this pad to a piece of plywood. For a workshop at home, my approach works just well.
