This is a great deal considering the cost of the chair. It is comparable to the 10 times more expensive designer chairs. The back of this chair is attached to the seat, whereas the backs of the pricier ones are welded, which is one of the differences between them and this chair. The backs must be bolted in because I ship disassembled. I purchased the blue one, and while they looked nice on their own, I am finding it challenging to match it with the rest of my furniture. The white one, in my opinion, would blend in better. If I needed more, I'd buy more without a doubt.

For my "rustic/industrial" dining area, I loved these. I constructed these chairs on one side, a wooden bench on the other, and ends. They complement anything they are paired with and are completely neutral. I paid $80 for a set of four of the (aqua) Bistro chairs, but the next day the price was changed, so I must have made a mistake. Do you recall when I discussed the worry issue? I worried that there must have been a typo because you will only receive two chairs, not four. Nope, four properly wrapped chairs in the color aqua arrived one day later than the advertised two-day shipping time in a sizable, slightly flimsy box.Let me now discuss the drawbacks. According to one review, the chairs were a touch tight. No one in my family fits the definition of small; instead, I've been labeled as being "curvy," "broad shouldered," and having "birthing hips." These chairs accommodate all four butts in my family rather comfortably.The chairs were described as being a little bit green in one of the reviews, however aqua is defined as a light bluish-green hue.There were no directions, according to one of the unfavorable reviewers. Although none of us has a PhD, we weren't too baffled by the four screws holding the bottom half of each chair together or the proper technique to turn the screws when attaching the top half.It wasn't difficult to screw the top part of the chair to the bottom half, contrary to one of the evaluations. We had a small paint bubble within the tiny hole that the screw goes into; we chipped it off with a small screwdriver, and presto—instant chair!A few reviews claimed that the chairs they ordered came harmed. These chairs, as stated in the majority of the other reviews, are an excellent mix between folding and the sense of more permanent dining room chairs.The seat material is excellent—thick it's and has a leather-like feel. For a folding chair, the legs and lumbar rungs feel more sturdy than anticipated. It takes a few tries to learn the trick for folding it because it is a little cumbersome. The rear of the seat moves up and down to lock into position since the seat pivots from the front. To open the chair, it helps to give the front legs a small tug and allow gravity to gently drop the seat. The wood is finished well. There is a metal latch that, when opened, receives the spring-loaded pull pin. In order to lock the chair after it has been opened, pull on the spring-loaded pin and then push it down one last time. Despite the fact that it is just on one side, I suppose I can understand why they didn't try to place it on both sides. It would be challenging to continue pulling those pins while attempting to open the chair. It is difficult or does not feel as though you can just push it past the pin and click it. To do that, I don't see enough of a taper (like a door knob set into a striker). I think the only way is to pull the pin.There is only one big complaint, and it has nothing to do with the chair's quality: the packaging. The complaint is with the lack of protection within, not the exterior box. The chairs are folded, "spooned," and slipped into a huge box that holds them. Without top or bottom foam. One of the two appeared to have taken a significant blow to the top and hairline split the wood around 2.5" down when I received mine. Just in time for the celebrations, I carefully pushed it open, squirted some high bond wood glue inside, and clamped it. To stop this, they must really cushion the top and bottom with foam. Only the rungs and folding hinges are covered with plastic, along with a medium cardboard sleeve and bubble wrap. By God's grace, there is nothing between the two folding chairs to prevent them from scuffing up each other within the shipment box. Your seats may become scratched if the handler travels on a rough road frequently or is just generally harsh. Order tickets well in advance of the event you're attending, and leave space in your budget for a potential return, is my recommendation to everyone. Otherwise, just keep returning the ones that fail if you have the patience and aren't in a rush. impart a lesson to them. hahahaThe seat held up (literally) against a big visitor in 2 successful parties. I'm not sure how many times it can happen, but it still doesn't seem like any more trembling or squeaking was caused. You did well, poor thing.

This merchant offers nice chairs and outstanding customer service. What a value! These chairs were far better than I had anticipated. They were simple to put together, strong, solid, and comfy. Although they are space-saving and ideal for smaller settings, these Eames-style chairs are actually a reasonable size and don't make you feel like you are sitting in a little chair or a child's chair. They are great for sitting for extended periods of time since they feature a little flexibility, which makes them more comfortable than ordinary chairs because the back yields somewhat when you lean. These chairs are even more comfy than the upholstered ones I used to only buy and the ones with lots of cushions! I'm going to get more for my home office. I was apprehensive to buy chairs without using Amazon Prime, but this seller convinced me that service may actually be improved in this fashion. The seller was very attentive and pleasant. To test them out with a new dining room table, we therefore acquired one set of these chairs. I was pleasantly impressed by the quality of these considering they were assembled seats. They are well made and comfortable. reasonable ease of assembly I've read remarks on this site regarding how one of the legs' length causes a minor wobble. Just follow the directions. You won't get that if you correctly assemble it. I first hand-tightened the front legs while gently tightening the seat, so you may level the chair by setting it on the ground. Next, reach under and firmly tighten one of each bolt on the front legs. For easier access, flip it over once more, then secure everything. Done. We ordered a second pair because we liked the first pair so much.The legs didn't match the table, and it was the only issue I had. The chair legs were practically blonde and had a pickle glaze on them, but the table is made of recycled wood and is quite gray in color. I thus developed a solution, which I will now provide in case anyone else has the same issue. I used a sharp wire brush to remove the remaining stain/glaze from the texture of the wood after hand-sanding the legs with 220 grit sandpaper. purchased a can of Varathane Weathered Wood Accelerator, and used that to attack them. After three applications, I achieved the desired gray and sealed them. Resulted perfectly. You can notice the difference by comparing the three refurbished chair legs with the factory finish in the image I've included. It took some time, but it was cheaper than purchasing matching chairs for hundreds of dollars each.

Compared to visiting another "high end" store, these offer fantastic value for the money. Although the shape of the chair conforms to your body, I didn't think I'd be able to sit in them for hours. They are also very solid because there isn't much place for soft cushions due to the Inherent design. The placement of the foot rest is spot on.When seated in them, they seem solid and stable. However, like with other flat-pack furniture made in China, it's practically hard to put them together such that all four points contact the ground while empty. Not a major problem, just something to be aware of.Generally speaking, you won't find anything this great for close to the price. Although they are clearly not heirloom quality, they are ideal for occasional usage and ought to last for a very long time in that capacity.

I just received these a week ago, so I can't yet comment on their durability, but I already adore these stools! They were packaged extremely well and are the ideal height for my kitchen peninsula (counter height, not bar height). To prevent even the slightest scratch or scuff, the legs were even sent completely wrapped in gossamer cloth (see picture). We both found the chairs to be very comfortable despite the fact that I weigh around 145 pounds and my husband is about 200 pounds and several inches taller than I am. The seat isn't too small for him. The "foot rest" bar isn't very pleasant, especially if you're wearing bare feet, was the sole issue. Only my husband is bothered by this. For the price, I didn't anticipate particularly robust legs and a foot bar, but I believe it's fine. They appear quite good.

I looked everywhere for chairs that were mid-century modern and within our budget. These are great, and I'm very glad I ordered them. We purchased gray, which is a perfect, impartial "rock grey." With the light-colored solid wooden legs, it looks extremely lovely. Instead, I almost got a "Eames"-style chair, but since they are made of plastic, they seemed a little underwhelming. These are considerably nicer looking, and I'm pleased with them. Installation was simple and just took a few minutes each chair. I don't mind the slight green scuff on one leg because it is so small. Because it appears that you can't take the fabric portion off to wash it, I'm a little concerned about how it will hold up (even though there is a zipper). Overall though, I'm quite happy. A ! If they don't hold up, I'll update.
