This item is of a reasonable size, is sturdy, plain, and reasonably priced. What I desired exactly.Other than the incense stick holes, which have been reported by others, I have no problems. Mine was bored with three holes on one side and one on the other. You may poke your incense out the side of two of the three because of the way they were drilled. One approached directly.This is still worth the cost even if I had to drill new holes.

I just got this small thing, and I'm using it already! How "large and practical" this tiny component is astounds me.Initially, I filled the bowl with around 1/3 of a pound of black sand (1 X 1lb Black Incense Burner Sand) using two heaping TBSPs. After placing the incense burner with coaster on a tiny ornamental plate, I replaced the screen (to where the screen dips in), and then I added a charcoal disk or briquette. On the screen, I ignited a Kwik Lite Brand Quick Lighting Long Lasting Incense Burner Charcoal Briquette Tabs - 100 Per Box. After lighting the charcoal, I placed myrrh Myrrh Resin - Organic - 1/2 lb resin and organic frankincense 100% Pure Organic Frankincense Resin / Tears - 8oz - High Quality - By Sweet Essentials on top of the briquette. The resin is being heated well, and the smoke is emitting a wonderful perfume. — I was able to effortlessly convey and distribute this delightful aroma throughout the entire home by placing a plate below this incense burner and its coaster.I had never used a charcoal incense burner before. In comparison to standard incense sticks and cones, it does produce more smoke. At less than $7 delivered, this is unquestionably an excellent deal. The size is ideal for its intended use. I regret not getting the larger one because it would have cost twice as much. This lovely piece has wonderful details and is well made and robust for its size and purpose. Definitely, I would advise.Even though I probably don't need the sand, a little bit at the bottom looks cool. lol Seriously, the ash that settles to the bottom is not very hot.

The positive aspect is that the incense smoke that "pours" out is really ethereal. It is definitely a wonderful visual experience to watch the smoke fall like a "smoke fall" (rather than a waterfall) and to gaze into the bottom of the holder.The cone's platform is a little too small, which is a drawback. You might need to move the cone around a bit to get it in the right place. Cones have come off as they were burning in my hands. Very bad.

I've used plenty of incense burners, and I suggest these. All of the ashes are finally contained without falling all over the table! Additionally, the ability to set up two incense sticks simultaneously is fantastic because I typically burn more than one incense at a time. The last stick can be difficult to remove from the hole occasionally, but compared to many other incense holders I've tested, I still fare far better. Getting two burners for roughly $16 is a great deal considering the pricing.
