You can use interior paint on the exterior of your house, but it may not last as long as exterior paint. Interior paint is not made to withstand the elements like exterior paint is, so it may fade or chip more easily.
Yes, you can mix interior and exterior paint for outside, but it is not recommended. The reason for this is that exterior paint is specifically formulated to withstand the elements, whereas interior paint is not.
No, interior and exterior house colors do not need to match. You can use any colors you want for your home’s interior and exterior. However, you may want to consider using colors that complement each other. For example, you could use a light blue for your home’s exterior and a darker blue for the interior.
If you're painting your home's exterior, it's important to coordinate your interior and exterior paint to create a cohesive look. One way to do this is to choose a color scheme for your home. You can use a color wheel to find complementary colors, or you can choose a monochromatic color scheme. Once you've selected your colors, you can start painting. If you're painting your home's interior, start with the largest surfaces first, such as the walls. Then, paint the trim and doors. Lastly, paint the smaller surfaces, such as the molding and base

This works really well for my new acrylic pouring paintings. I mix Floetrol, acrylic pain, and water in a ratio of 3:1. Shake well before each use (using just enough water to get consistency similar to melted ice cream)! This is so much fun to play with that I'm glad I bought the big jug.

In fact, I rip the filter screen off and tuck it under the top of the airbrush paint bottles. has so far been successful, and I can't complain about how easy it is to strain paint as I pour it from the bottle. I also add marbles to my bottles, and after a while of use, I looked at the screen to make sure it hadn't stretched out or been damaged by the marble. The amount of screens you receive in this pack is enough for a LONG time using this method, although I'll obviously need to replace the screen at some point. Each filter has enough for, at the absolute least, two bottles of Createx paint and one [maybe two, I haven't tried] bottle[s] of Vallejo (or other brands with smaller bottles).Outstanding Value.

We have to be careful about the things we bring into our home because our family is chemically sensitive. Touch-ups and sprays for porcelain/appliances have always been harmful to us. So, congratulations to SOTO for developing NON-TOXIC items that work, not just for those like us but for anyone who wishes to escape the offensive fumes from other products. Our appliances looked amazing in Perfect White. The provided colour chart is really useful for our other projects (SOTO will send you the chart if you ask them). Ideally, Amazon will increase their product selection to incorporate the entire SOTO product line. Once more, I'd want to thank SOTO and Amazon for exposing us to this product.

This is amazing stuff! What I had been looking for but had never been able to locate. To achieve the closest color match, send for a color chart before placing your order.Pricey but simple to use, with outcomes that match your hand-eye coordination. It's only a tiny bottle. similar to nail polish. for minor dings, chips, knocks, or lumps where the paint has been scraped off.Particularly useful for painting the ugly little scars left behind when you remove tape, self-stick adhesive, or command strips only to discover that a piece of drywall paper came off with the tape.Although a decent match should be acceptable, the touch-up paint precisely matched my walls. Since you made the adjustment, you will be the only one to notice. After applying the paint, I tried to locate the places, but some are impossible for me to locate. Others, if I am aware of their whereabouts, I must examine the patch to locate.Just keep in mind that it is a tiny bottle with a brush about the size of nail paint. For bigger paint jobs, no.Regards, Soto.Steve

My vinyl couch has reached the age where the finish has suddenly become fragile and is flaking and cracking all over. I applied two thin coats of Angelus (which dries rapidly) to each pillow, and it stopped the stains where they were. The least expensive quick remedy is this. Although it won't repair an existing tear in the vinyl, if you spray the area thoroughly inside the opening, it will stop the tear from getting worse.Tip: Because the vinyl coating never has a chance to become brittle, I believe my sofa would have stayed immaculate if I had known to use a protectant spray on it a few times a year (similar to protecting the car dash with Armor All). Before I had applied the Angelus paint to the entire sofa, the vinyl immediately appeared more supple, brand-new, and resistant to crumbling. I used 303 Aerospace Protectant to cover the entire sofa. The neighbor's puppy does laps on the couch in an unpaid testimonial, and since treating the scratch with 303 and then Angelus, he hasn't been able to produce any more.

We're currently employing a contractor to finish our basement, so I'm gradually remodeling the upstairs of my home on my own. I'm just upgrading everything we already have. I purchased this paint to use for a variety of projects. That includes my dining room table. I work with my hands A LOT. I renovated my own kitchen, changing the cabinetry from wood to glazed antique. I am therefore knowledgeable about paints, sealants, and stains. Every day I use paint. And I primarily use chalk paint. And I particularly like this. The coverage is superior to any other and the quality is excellent. I won't criticize any other well-known brands in this review, but I'm ecstatic to have discovered a chalk paint that I don't need to waste and that doesn't have that thick, gooey appearance. I purchased charcoal for the table top and seat tops, and I purchased linen white for the table legs. I also painted many of the accent pieces in my dining area with charcoal. The charcoal was left unaltered, but the legs were sanded to appear worn. I combined some of my favorite blues and greens with some of the linen white I used in my kitchen, and I used it on the chair legs and backs. They will be distressed like the legs of my table, and the charcoal chairs will be left unaltered like the tabletop. When I'm done, I'll update the picture. I always protect my paints with Minwax quick-dry polyurethane, applying two coats to high-traffic areas. I will undoubtedly continue to use Rustoleum Chalked Paints.

I adore the colour and this paint. As several commenters have stated, it is clearly a real white. As with any painting project, you should avoid painting in temperatures below 20 degrees. We chose a very chilly weekend for this project, and even with heavy sanding, it still required three coats. It creates a really good, smooth finish to apply the spray as a top layer of paint before sealing it.Would definitely get this paint from Amazon again. It had unique clamps on the top to keep the paint from cracking during shipping.

Our boat dock was originally painted baby poop green and my uncle didn't like it. My dad wanted to paint the boat dock to pick on my uncle who is three boat docks over. If I'm being completely honest, I prefer green, but baby feces green? Therefore, I'm going to paint the home trim to match the gloss sun yellow paint that my dad chose to paint the boat dock (which, as you can see in the picture, is almost finished). Neighbors have so far liked the hue! We will undoubtedly be able to identify our boat dock from the nearby neighbors, that much is certain. (You can't miss us anymore!) We live in a HOA, and they had no issues with us painting this color. Everyone uses black, brown, or rust color for their trim and boat docks.Regarding the packaging, it arrived on schedule (it did state I may have it the next day, but in the final shipping it wasn't listed for next day...seems to be that a lot), and the delivery person got wet bringing it to our back door so it wasn't left out in the rain (poor lady got soaked in the strong winds and rain). As you can see in the images, when I opened the box, I discovered that it was far too large for these 4 quart paint cans. The air filed spaces provided no support, and all of the cans had significant denting. They are still functional, but a smaller box would have minimized the size and number of dents. Of course, I still have a lot to paint, so they will be put to use.Once the boat dock and house trim are finished, I'll try to remember to update with a picture.

Most exterior paint last about 5-8 years, depending on the quality of the paint and how well it was applied.
There's no real answer to this question as it depends on personal preference. Some people might prefer a more subdued color scheme while others might want their house to stand out with a more vibrant one. Ultimately, it's up to the homeowner to decide how many colors to use on their house exterior.
There are a few things to consider when trying to answer this question. The first is the type of paint. Exterior paint is generally made to withstand more wear and tear than interior paint. This is because it needs to be able to withstand the elements, like wind, rain, and sun. It also needs to be able to resist fading and chipping. The second thing to consider is the quality of the paint. In general, higher quality paint will be more durable than lower quality paint. The third thing to consider is the surface that the paint is being applied to. If the
There is a common misconception that exterior paint is thicker than interior paint. However, the thickness of paint does not determine where it should be used. The main difference between interior and exterior paint is the ingredients. Exterior paint is made with more durable ingredients that can withstand the elements, while interior paint is designed for indoor use and doesn't need to be as tough.
Designing the interior of your home can be a daunting task. There are so many different styles and trends to choose from. And once you've decided on a style, you have to decide if you want the whole house to match. There are pros and cons to both matching and mismatching the design of your home. If you choose to match, everything will flow together and look cohesive. But if you mismatched, you can have more fun with different looks in each room. Ultimately, the decision comes down to personal preference. If you like the idea of a matching
If you want to make your house look bigger, painting the exterior in a light color is a good idea. Light colors reflect light, making the house look brighter and more open. White is a popular choice for making a house look bigger, but you can also try other light colors like cream, pale blue, or light gray.
