Kasonic Wireless Outdoor Remote Control Outlets with Timer and Sensor Function; 3 Outlets 100 Feet RF Range; ETL Listed Water Resistant for Outdoor Lights, Kitchen Appliances (Black) Review:

The first plug I got didn't work, but Amazon is great and quickly sent out a replacement. Although the goods does have a warranty card and an email address to contact, everything involves the creation of yet another account and more information. It is much simpler to use my already-established Amazon account, especially because it is upsetting to receive a defective item.I've finally received my replacement, and it's fantastic! The 15Amp rating was required for us because we would be using it to power a copper ionizer and pool pump. It's great to have a remote control. It's my fault for not understanding, but I mistakenly believed that the 2, 4, 6, and 8-hour timers could be used independently of the dusk/dawn feature, while they actually only function with it. Therefore, we will probably search for another timer that can be configured to run on autopilot throughout the day as well. Therefore, this definitely isn't the greatest for use with pool pumps. The remote control function rocks!

BN-LINK 7 Day Heavy Duty Digital Programmable Timer, FD60 U6, 115V, 60Hz, Dual Outlet, Indoor, Packaging May Vary For Lamp Light Fan Security UL Listed Review:

UPDATE: After reading my initial "1 star" review (below), the firm contacted me and offered to not only give me a new unit but also to pre-set the timers and test it for me. WOW. Nowadays, it's uncommon to find such thorough and prompt customer care! I've changed my rating from "1" to "4" as a result.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased this in August as a "Today's Deal" to plug it into an outlet in my enclosed garage for this year's outdoor Christmas lights. I was finally going to be in the lead! NOT SO. First of all, I tested it in December since I was a moron and there were no instructions in the package. This was NOT a pleasant discovery for an elderly (and rather technologically handicapped) widow. Diections had been posted online by a generous person, but I still had trouble following them. Which meant that setting up the timer required me to try it a few times. But only the fifth time the reset button was pressed before it broke! It continued to be in the "down" position, completely useless the device. Furthermore, I was not imposing brute force on it. Arrrrgggh!!!! As a result, I had to wait another week to erect my outdoor decorations (due to my work schedule). In the interim, I got a less complicated timer from the same business, and it worked perfectly. I'm rather disappointed, though, that I wasted money on this more complex version that, based on appearances, wasn't as well-made. This was a complete waste of my time and money because it was obvious that the timeframe for its return had long since gone. Hissing sound! However, the lesson is to always test a product as soon as it is received.

BN-LINK 7 Day Heavy Duty Digital Programmable Timer, FD60 U6, 115V, 60Hz, Dual Outlet, Indoor, Packaging May Vary, Dual Outlet, For Lamp Light Fan Security UL Listed(2 Pack) Review:

I've been using these for a while, and I enjoy that each day may be programmed differently if I want to. When setting up lights while you are away from home, this is a major bonus. I only gave it four instead of five stars because I believe the programming should be made more efficient. The online video is useful even though programming these is a little difficult and time-consuming. Before I got everything just how I wanted it, I had to repeat the process numerous times. I enjoy utilizing the random button in particular. The length of time the lights are on is therefore gradually altering. It makes it harder to guess that you might be away. I always have one of them on so that when I come home at night, I don't have to question if I switched on a light. There is constantly light on in the house. Some may argue that employing internet technologies is preferable, but at least these cannot be compromised. They are great so far, and I would buy them again. Each device can accept two plugs, which is advantageous. The same program controls both devices connected to one unit. They cannot be programmed independently. The capabilities of different programs need the usage of a different unit.

BN-LINK Outdoor 24-Hour Timer With Photocell Light Sensor, Water Resistant Photoelectric Countdown Timer(2, 4, 6 or 8 Hours Mode), Weatherproof, Two (2) Grounded Outlets for Home and Garden, Black Review:

See my detailed story below. Despite the fact that the initial photocell timer I tried didn't work for me, Century Products ultimately delivered. In order to use a timer with some outdoor lights, I had ordered one. Every time it turned on, it would cycle off and on for a minute or two. Even with the unit towards the wall and away from the lights, this continued to occur. When I contacted the vendor, they very kindly sent me a replacement, and the new one behaved in the same way. The vendor claimed that after testing the returned item, they were satisfied with how well it worked for them, yet they still reimbursed my purchase money.Although I had trouble with the photocell timer, Century Products must be among the top sellers. They gave me excellent service and are deserving of my gratitude. Therefore, the goods only receives two ratings, yet the vendor receives five!A separate photocell timer that I purchased from another vendor worked perfectly.ADDENDUM: Century Products wanted me to test out ANOTHER item they provided me to check if it operated. I did this, and it operates flawlessly. As I indicated, Century Products receives five stars for their efforts to address this issue.

Plusmart Outdoor Timer Waterproof, 24 Hour Mechanical Timer with 2 Grounded Outlet, Programmable Outdoor Light Timer for Christmas Light, Pool, ETL Listed Review:

I bought this item so I could utilize it with my holiday lights.I observed that there was a great deal of ambiguity surrounding this product. Although the product itself states "for outdoor use," the paper instructions, which I personally don't understand the need of, state "for indoor use." Just by taking a glance at the cord and feeling the product's weight and construction, I can tell that it is absolutely fine to use outside.Nothing is completely "weather proof," much like with extension cords and other electrical equipment used outside. According to the web and packaged directions, mounting the box with the plugs facing down is advised if you plan to use this outside. This makes sense. This and extension cables shouldn't be utilized in any locations where they might become completely immersed. Since my outside electrical outlet is installed beneath an eavespread, I don't have to worry about the weather damaging it.Thus far, so good.

DEWENWILS ODT12B Outdoor Light Sensor Timer, Heavy Duty Waterproof Plug in Switch, 100 ft Range Remote Control for 2 Grounded Electrical Outlets, 1/2HP UL Listed Review:

a tool built specifically for remote operation of outdoor electrical equipment. really skillfully designed for this. two outlets and waterproof. also manages a circuit's fifteen amp maximum current. It can operate simply on-off or run automatically for two, four, six, or eight hours before shutting down, which shows how well thought out it is. Simply press the remote control button that is labelled with the proper icon to start using this. The range is at least 100 feet. One of them was purchased by me to operate a huge Harbor Freight pedestal fan that cools my home at night. I bought a second (different frequency) after a successful test period so I could manage a second identical fan downstairs. The present demands of the fans are easily met by these things. These will function flawlessly for regulating pumps, cooling equipment, outdoor lighting, and just about anything else. They can be programmed to automatically turn on at dusk and turn off again in the morning. So it's not required to be at home for things to function.Five (5). These are things I adore.

DEWENWILS Outdoor Power Strip Stake Timer with Remote, Waterproof Cover with 6 Grounded Outlets Electric Pool Timer, 6 ft Extension Cord, 100 ft Remote Control, 13A UL Listed Review:

Wow, why didn't I know about this when our pool was installed 13 years ago. This saves lives. The pool can be used for up to 6 hours of your choosing. The remote makes it incredibly practical. For 13 years, we have gone outside to switch on and then turn off with varying running times. Here in the South, there are extremes of cold and heat. Our pool pump failed a month ago, and the installation advised doing this. When our pool was installed 13 years ago, the installer also worked as a helper. I've never been told that our pool could have a timer. It saves lives. Now, it simply turns on and shuts off by itself. Our pool runs for a specific amount of time each day.It ran when we were dozing asleep in the past and continued to do so until we turned it off or woke up. I adore this thing. It is more valuable than gold.

KMC Indoor 24-Hour Mechanical Outlet Timer, 3-Prong Dual Outlet Plug-in Mechanical Timer Grounded, 2-Pack Review:

The timers were purchased to be used with two spotlights on an artwork. The timers appear to be well-built and are keeping good time. My only difficulty was correctly setting up the time with the tiny tabs. I was able to get them to function properly after some trial and error. I appreciate that each timer has an outlet on either side of it.

Woods 2001WD Outdoor UL Listed 24 Hour Dusk until Dawn Outlet w/Photocell Light Sensor, Settings for on, off, dusk till dawn, or on at dusk & 2, 4, 6, 8 hour countdown, 1 Grounded Outlet, 6" Cord Review:

I delayed writing a review since I wanted to give it a closer look after seeing complaints regarding inconsistent operation from others. I see that "didn't work" is the most common excuse offered by customers who give a product a one-star rating, but I have my doubts that most of them actually gave the item a fair chance. The reason I say that is because if you simply plug it in and cover the optical sensor, expecting it to switch on right away, you could assume the device is broken. However, in practice, it was unable to switch on right away since, in contrast to a typical photocell used in entrance lights, this device also has to begin a timer. If you stop to think about it, it must first determine if it is truly dark and not just appearing to be dark because perhaps a tree temporarily hid the setting sun. As a result, it stops for a brief period of time (really, approximately 20 seconds) before turning on and starting the timer, which is precisely how it should be. However, I've seen some negative reviews for units that ceased operating weeks or months later, and it's harder to attribute those to a lack of operational comprehension. If my device dies, I'll update this review. At sunset, turns on my 120-watt (!) bug light, and four hours later, turns it off. Five stars: affordable, rapid delivery, and effective.

Century Mini Indoor 24-Hour Mechanical Outlet Timer, 2 Prong, 2-Pack Review:

With the purchase of these little timers, I'm extremely happy. They were bought to swap out my old timer, which has been sounding like a ticking time bomb. They are remarkably silent; while seated next to one, I do not hear any noise from it. Before providing my input, I tested them for a few days and timed it to turn on and off as needed for my schedule. The timer can be programmed to turn on the light or appliance earlier than the predetermined time. It would be wonderful to have the option to turn it off earlier than the timer's timetable; while this is not a deal-breaker, it may be added in a future generation.Customer support is AAA . They were prompt and professional in their responses to my queries and worries.I'm satisfied with the purchase overall because to the timer feature and the customer support I received.
