CHICOLOGY Cordless Magnetic Roman Shades Privacy Fabric Window Blind, 23" W X 64" H, Daily Canvas (Light Filtering) Review:

Let me first clarify that I am not receiving any compensation for this review; it is only my honest opinion of a fantastic product that I discovered after spending hours looking for high-quality roman blinds that were cheaply priced.I recently got three of these blinds, but our house already has 13 chicology magnetic Roman shades, and I cannot rave about them enough! I will note that I prefer them to be mounted inside because the top is exposed wood and might be seen if you hang them on a window that is visible from above (for instance, if you have 2 story ceilings and can see the top of the shade from upstairs). The one I have in our kitchen, though, is an outside mount and looks excellent because the top is completely hidden. All 13 shades were easy for me to hang by myself. Because of their description, I was aware that these particular shades offer a small amount of privacy and light filtering, which is exactly what I wanted for the space they are in. I definitely suggest the chicology thermal Roman magnetic shades, which I have on 10 other windows in our house, if you're searching for a shade that completely obscures light and offers privacy! If you're unsure whether to buy these, DO IT! You won't be let down!

CHICOLOGY RMBC2364 Cordless Roman Shades, 23" W X 64" H, Belgian Chocolate (Privacy & Light Filtering) Review:

Beautiful arched double doors with beveled glass panes are in the doorway of our new house. Although they are beautiful, at night, passing cars can see inside our house. Nothing but custom blinds that would cost several hundred dollars apiece could be found despite my extensive searching for a solution to fit the 20" x 60" windows in each door. I didn't want to install real or imitation wood blinds because I was concerned that when the doors were opened, they might slam against the windows and scratch or break the glass. While the no-glue vinyl frost was an option for seclusion, we didn't want to sacrifice our daytime view. These are a PERFECT fit, and I got the 23" x 64" size after seeing them on Amazon. They manage to clear the door knobs and locks while having just enough window overlap to prevent intrusion.Utilizing the exterior mount suggested in the installation instructions, we mounted them directly over our windows. The blinds went up quickly, and the hardest thing was trying to screw them into a mahogany door. The instructions were very clear and simple to follow. They are incredibly simple to raise and lower and function really well. If you need a blackout curtain, they won't work because they do allow some light through throughout the day. The cloth is relatively thin. However, they do hide the view, which is what we need of them. The only drawback thus far is that an outside mount makes the borders of the header bar visible, and they are white rather than brown. I'm considering getting some brown paint to hide the plastic section, but you have to be directly across from them to see it.Overall, I am quite happy with my purchase and would strongly suggest it!

Chicology Cordless Magnetic Roman Shades / Window Blind Fabric Curtain Drape, Thermal, Light Filtering - Mountain Almond, 23"W X 64"H Review:

These hues are gorgeous! For this price range, the simple design blends well with any decor and is secure for use in homes with kids or pets.In order to block light, insulate windows, and provide privacy, I required shades to place underneath drapes. However, I was worried about any cords hanging because I have a kid at home who is 2.5 years old. In all honesty, I don't like how the cords look. I'm going ahead and purchasing them for every window in the home after trying a few of these (in chocolate) in my kitchen and really like them! Mountain Snow will completely darken a room when combined with curtains even though it doesn't block as much light as chocolate does.Installing them is really simple. All that is required to hang them is a drill and a screwdriver. I completed it while my toddler was in the room giving me tools. Before placing your order, you should carefully measure the area to make sure the shade will fit correctly and look great without any gaps.I haven't experienced the issues that some other people have (creases when first hung or not enough magnets to hold up the shades high enough from the bottom of the window - again an issue easily fixed by measuring correctly)I really wish the business would now broaden their color scheme. I wish there were more color choices available!

Radiance 2208848E Cordless Roman Shade Driftwood 64" H X 23" W Review:

This was precisely what I needed. It is essentially everything I expected. During the day, they let in a little light. At night, they completely obstruct the moonlight. I adore that there is no cord; all I have to do is gently pull down or push up, and they stay in place. I purchased this to reduce the brightness from the sun that was obstructing my husband's ability to see while shaving. I adore his cheerful expression. Installation is simple and easy to understand. There were two ways I could mount the brackets. Because attaching to the side of the inside would have shown the brackets, I opted to mount to the top of the window sill's interior.the very first image down. The second image is halfway down. The third image is as high as it will go.

Calyx Interiors Bamboo Roman Window Blinds Shades, 19" W x 60" H, Cordless Dali Tuscan Review:

These are quite attractive and simple to hang, but installation definitely need two people. We observed that some had somewhat different colours and designs, yet they are quite affordable. They add the ideal amount of warmth and texture, and we purchased them for our entire downstairs!

Chicology Cordless Magnetic Roman Shades Privacy Fabric Window Blind, 23"W X 64"H, Jamaican Antique Gold (Privacy & Natural Woven) Review:

It was simple to install; since I rent, I didn't want to drill holes in the wall. Instead, I quickly rigged the velcro set-up, which holds 10 pounds. The space has a nice colour and tone. I required the additional darkness rather than the original blinds, which didn't block much light, because I have West-facing windows and work nights.Magnets are feeble, and one wonders how long they will last before losing their usefulness and needing further support to keep aloft.

Achim Home Furnishings Cordless Blackout Roman Window Shade, 27"x64", Grey, 27" x 64", Review:

These shades are excellent value for the money and they arrive sooner than anticipated. The installation is priceless in and of itself. Simply put in the brackets, and it clicks in.

Should Roman shades be inside or outside mount?

There are pros and cons to both inside and outside mount Roman shades. Inside mount Roman shades take up less space, since they're mounted on the inside of the window frame. They're also less likely to get damaged since they're not exposed to the elements. However, outside mount Roman shades provide more coverage and can help block out light better.
